and I had to kind of go to work figure out what I was going to do and try to find my mom at the same time so years later not not understanding what the consequences of these uh of this terrible terrible terrorist attack was going to be we start seeing friends and family people that we know distant and close falling to a disease that was determined to be 9/11 related one of my best friends in the police department Captain Janelle Sanders we came on a job together she died in 2022 on 911 of cancer so for me it's personal for me it's something that will always be a part of my life in every 9/11 Memorial that we have I will be there
