ARENA SAY IT CAN HANDLE AN NBA TEAM, IN ADDITION TO THE SEATTLE STORM, KRAKEN AND CONFERENCE. >>> YOU WILL SEE DURING THE COURSE OF HIS RALLIES, HE TALKS ABOUT FICTIONAL CHARACTERS LIKE HANNIBAL LECTOR AND HE WILL TALK ABOUT WINDMILLS CAUSING CANCER, AND WHAT YOU WILL ALSO NOTICE IS THAT PEOPLE WILL LEAVE HIS RALLIES EARLY OUT OF EXHAUSTION AND BOREDOM. >> SHE SAID PEOPLE START LEAVING A PEOPLE DON'T GO TO HER RALLIES AND THE PEOPLE THAT DO GO, SHE IS BUSING THEM IN AND PAYING THEM TO BE THERE AND THEN SHOWING THEM A DIFFERENT LIGHT. >> LIFE HERE ON KOMO, VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS AND FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP COMING FACE-TO-FACE FOR THE FIRST TIME. >> TONIGHT'S DEBATE MAY BE THE LAST TIME THAT BOTH CANDIDATES FROM A NATIONAL AUDIENCE BEFORE THE NOVEMBER ELECTION THE 90 MINUTE DEBATE COVERED A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS INCLUDING THE ECONOMY, ABORTION, IMMIGRATION AND THE ATTACK ON THE CAPITOL. >> JOINED NOW, RIGHT BEFORE WE PLAY A FEW CLIPS WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOUR TAKE AWAY WAS FROM TONIGHT'S PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE. >> IT IS ALWAYS DIFFICULT WATCHING A DEBATE, AND, IT IS USUALLY KIND OF MURKY ABOUT WHO WINS, AND I THOUGHT SHE HAD SET THE TONE TONIGHT WHEN SHE WALKED ACROSS THE STAGE TO SHAKE HIS HEAD MOST PEOPLE WERE BETTING THAT WASN'T EVEN GOING TO BE A PART OF THE CONVERSATION BUT EITHER WAY, TWO THINGS THAT SHE DID WELL TONIGHT, SHE HAS LOOKED AND SOUNDED VERY PRESIDENTIAL WHICH IS WHAT SHE HAD TO MADE, NUMBER TWO WHICH SURPRISED ME THE MOST I DIDN'T THINK THAT SHE COULD GET UNDER HIS SKIN BECAUSE I THOUGHT HE HAD BEEN COACHED OUT OF THAT BUT PRETTY CLEARLY WHERE HE'S TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE EATING DOGS AND CATS, AND LET ME TELL YOU A SECRET, PRESIDENT BIDEN HATE YOU AND THE KIND OF STUFF THAT EMOTIONAL THE SORREL A REACTION WHICH TELLS ME, SHE KIND OF GOT UNDERNEATH HIS SKIN A LITTLE BIT SO, YOU KNOW, AGAIN AT THE END OF THE DAY HOW MUCH IT DOES IT ALL MATTER, IT IS GOING TO BE A CLOSE RACE IT WILL BE IN FIVE OR SEVEN STATES, BUT MY TAKE AWAY FROM THIS EVENING IS THAT SHE WON THIS DEBATE TONIGHT BUT WILL IT MATTER AT THE END OF THE DAY WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE. >> LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE INDIVIDUAL TOPICS, LET'S TAKE A LISTEN. >> THAT BILL WOULD HAVE PUT MORE RESOURCES TO ALLOW US TO PROSECUTE TRANSNATIONAL CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR TRAFFICKING IN, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT BILL? DONALD TRUMP GOT ON THE PHONE, AND CALLED UP SOME FOLKS IN CONGRESS AND SAID KILL THE BILL AND YOU KNOW WHY BECAUSE HE PREFERRED A RUN ON THE PROBLEM INSTEAD OF FIXING A PROBLEM AND UNDERSTAND THAT THIS COMES AT A TIME WHERE THE PEOPLE OF OUR COUNTRY ACTUALLY MADE A LEADER, WHO ENGAGES IN SOLUTIONS. WHO ACTUALLY ADDRESSES THE PROBLEMS AT HAND . >> WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO OUR COUNTRY BY ALLOWING THESE MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF PEOPLE TO COME INTO OUR COUNTRY AND LOOK AT WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE TOWNS ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES AND A LOT OF DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT, IT WON'T BE AURORA OR SPRINGFIELD A LOT OF DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT BECAUSE THEY ARE SO EMBARRASSED AND IN SPRINGFIELD, THEY ARE EATING THE DOGS, THE PEOPLE THAT CAME IN, THEY ARE EATING THE CATS, THEY ARE EATING THE PATS OF THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE THERE. >> OKAY GOING INTO THIS DEBATE YOU SAID THAT IMMIGRATION AND BORDER SECURITY WAS A HUGE TOPIC ESPECIALLY FOR VOTERS IN THE SWING STATES. HOW DID THEY DO? >> I THOUGHT SHE DID A PRETTY DECENT JOB WHEN HE KILLED THE LEGISLATION BECAUSE IT SOLVE A LOT OF THE PROBLEMS AND HE WENT BACK TO HIS TRIED AND TRUE STATEMENT OF HERE ARE THE PROBLEMS WE ARE HAVING I THINK HE GOT A LITTLE CARRIED AWAY AND A LITTLE BIT OVER THE TOP ABOUT THE DOGS AND CATS COMMENTS. AND AS YOU SAW FROM ONE OF THE ANCHORS WE JUST TALK TO THE CITY MANAGER, THAT JUST HASN'T HAPPENED IN SPRINGFIELD, AND YOU KNOW AGAIN, SHE WAS PRETTY EFFECTIVE AT RALLYING HIM UP AND YOU CAN SEE THE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS, AND HE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS A LITTLE BIT ANGRY THROUGH A BIG PORTION OF THE DEBATE ON A LOT OF THESE ISSUES, EVEN IMMIGRATION WHICH HE THINKS IS ONE OF HIS SWEET SPOTS AND A KIND OF IS. BUT SHE DID A PREEMPTIVE STRIKE ON THAT ISSUE A LITTLE BIT AND IT WAS FAIRLY EFFECTIVE. >> LET'S GET YOU ANOTHER CLIP, THIS IS WHAT BOTH CANDIDATES HAD TO SAY, LET'S LISTEN IN. >> A VERY SIMPLE QUESTION AS WE MOVE FORWARD TOWARDS ANOTHER ELECTION, IS THERE ANYTHING YOU REGRET ABOUT WHAT YOU DID ON THAT DAY? >> I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT OTHER THAN ASKING TO MAKE A SPEECH I SHOWED UP FOR A SPEECH AND I SAID I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE BIG, I WENT TO NANCY PELOSI AND THE MAYOR OF WASHINGTON, D.C., AND THE MAYOR PUT IT BACK IN WRITING AS YOU KNOW AND I SAID YOU KNOW, THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY BIG RALLY OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT AND IT WASN'T DONE BY ME BUT DONE BY OTHERS. >> I WAS THERE, AND ON THAT DAY, THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, INCITED A VIOLENT MOB. TO ATTACK OUR NATION'S CAPITOL. AND TO DESECRATE OUR NATIONS CAPITOL ON THAT DAY, 140 LAW-ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WERE INJURED AND SOME HAD DIED AND UNDERSTAND, THAT THE FORMER PRESIDENT HAS BEEN INDICTED AND IMPEACHED FOR EXACTLY THAT REASON. >> YOUR REACTION TO THAT, I KNOW THERE IS A LOT TO UNPACK HOW DO YOU THINK BOTH ENDED IT'S HANDLED THAT WHEN IT CAME TO THE ATTACK ON THE CAPITOL. >> THEY REVEAL THAT JANUARY 6th WAS A DARK DAY IN AMERICAN HISTORY. AND, TO HAVE OUR HOUSE ACTUALLY UNDER SIEGE. NOW THERE IS ALWAYS LESS HE SAID SHE SAID FINGER-POINTING GOING ON I WAS INVITED TO SPEAK BUT YOU DIDN'T REACT TO IT THE WAY THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE, YOU ARE PRESIDENT AND HE WILL BLAME IT NANCY PELOSI AND SHE IS GOING TO BLAME HIM AND YOU KNOW I DON'T KNOW IF ANYBODY SCORED ANY MAJOR POINTS ON THAT, BUT I THINK THAT MOST OF WHAT THE AMERICAN PUBLIC THINK ABOUT THAT ISSUE IS THAT THEY DO LAY AT REST, HIS FEET AROUND ME MANAGEMENT HANDLING THAT ISSUE BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY, HE WAS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, AND AGAIN, SHE GOT THEM ON THE DEFENSIVE AGAIN AND, WHEN YOU ARE ON YOUR TOES LEANING FORWARD AND HE SPENT A LOT OF THIS 90 MINUTES, KIND OF LEANING BACK ON HIS HEELS. AND TO PUSH THEM AROUND A BIT. >> THAT SAID, GOING INTO THE DEBATE ALL OF THE POLLS, SHOWED THEM THAT CONNECT WITHIN A POINTER TO, DO YOU THINK TONIGHT'S DEBATE CHANGED THAT IN THE LEAST? >> YOU KNOW, THERE WERE TIMES WHEN EVERYBODY THOUGHT HILLARY CLINTON HAD BEATEN HIM IN THE 2016 DEBATE. AND YOU SAW WHAT HAPPENED THERE, SO, YOU GOT TO BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DON'T READ TOO MUCH INTO THE WINS AND LOSES OF THE DEBATE AT THE END OF THE DAY, AND HAS THE RACE BEEN CLOSE, AND IS IT GOING TO BE CLOSE IN FIVE OR SIX STATES, YES. DID HE HELP HIMSELF TONIGHT, NO, DID SHE HELP HERSELF A LITTLE BIT, YES AND WILL IT MATTER, TO BE DETERMINED. BUT IT IS GOING TO BE A CLOSE RACE, AND NOW WHO'S GOING TO IN THE NEXT 53 OR 5040S, WHO'S GOING TO RUN THE BEST CAMPAIGN,
