Albert Breer: It Makes Sense That Alex Van Pelt is Deciding on Drake Maye

you seem annoyed why am I Anno I'm not annoyed I don't know you shut down a little bit in the last break B I don't know if I shut down you didn't have anything to say you shut down I wish I could well you were playing a lot of audio though yeah I know cuz I didn't know what when to interrupt it because it was a lot was coming at me but those necklaces are real uh I guess is the same thing as the Rings is that similar to the Rings what what was it remember people like like the ones that you wear in your index finger right that somehow rodrig the the the copper bands this is much more Hightech because I I I think the Rings number one smaller so they can't nearly provide as much power I would think but these uh this thing has like a charging base and there are different levels that you can program in it to give you you know different magnetic fields will uh provide a different uh uh things according to happy oh I'm already investigating yeah how much the necklace is the necklace just like a um like one of those like black like almost like the bungee material right like the thin bungee no it it weighs 12 ounces so this is not a this is like a Tyler Milan's cousin you know chain situation can I get a uh cross uh to a fix to it uh Pro probably probably the one-year membership neck band $349 it's good for Daytime Nighttime you get a USB charging CA cable and there are 7 over 75 Vibes and growing available for both IOS and Android now we're too far in the science nerd weeds you got to program it depending on what you want yeah but listen how I mean now now it's getting into Nuclear Physics Vibes yeah I mean what if I want a chill Vibe you know what if I wanna what if I want to get a get get wild like it's a 10:30 at night so this is like the dispensary where you can buy different types that do different yeah there's a c if you want to couch High you put on the magnet on Two And if you want to if you want to like a like you just snorted a bunch of Aderall see you put that on five you put the you it's like a you know a hard band necklace it's got a like a thick front to it that kind of lays over like the top of your sternum and then there appears to be an appt uh an app and you pull up what do you want I want focused and it you know it so then it sends Focus Vibes through the necklace Pharmaceuticals but they don't work now here's the thing according to magnet RX it says it it has improved circulation chronic pain relief now listen this is their explanation it's RX so you know it's medical chronic pain relief chronic pain is one of the leading causes of disability and decreased quality of life I didn't know that well this is rx this is why they're telling you wow you know chronic Pain's not good it's it can be it can be a little disconcerning huh this frequent or prolonged pain is often most caused by an abundance of of lactic acid and calcium that is true I mean other than uh you know like cancer or something I would assume that uh you know cancer or a terrible car wreck do broken bones cause chronic pain well that's when calcium is way out of the there's too much of it plus your lactic acid is is all built up you know cuz one lactic acid you could like swim a bunch of laps and then uh the next day you'd be sore or you could get hit with a truck and then be bedridden for two months that's chronic yeah that that might be chronic a recent study so who were to blame showed that the calcium cells responded to magnets calcium cells in our body you know those calcium cells Magnets How red blood cells white blood cells calcium cells we all have them this could point this could I always like that the dodg just says look you're gonna die but this could I mean you know it's not no one said it couldn't put this necklace on you put this necklace on you'll be okay when you're at like the experimental phase of like dying like where it's like all right like I'm willing to throw anything at it then you put the necklace on yeah well might might as well I mean you take some you eat some you eat some tree bark and put the necklace on this could point to a more efficient way of moving calcium through the body and taking pain with it so if you're experiencing chronic pain right now look no further than the calcium deposits in your body good for jayen brown he's too smart for basketball he really is he really is and he needed the money uh better sleep insomnia can be caused by many factors one of them most is pain bothering us at night how about that it's the only reason people can't sleep that's why they said counting sheep because it's it stops pain if you've ever tried to sleep while your body is aching you know how hard it is to fall asleep and get a good night's rest both magnetic jewelry and sleeping pads can help soak up your urine and uh reduce the pain and stiffness so I think they're going a lot with the pain so jayan Brown congratulations not only do you love the black Israel lights you sell magnetic jewelry that is supposed to ease chronic pain I'm going to get one you might as well let's just I but I'm I'm afraid because you used to have a problem with chemicals I'm afraid you're going to start we're going to come in you're going to have 15 necklaces on one day and you're going to be all hopped up you're saying there's such thing as Gateway jewelry absolutely you put that thing on on rubbing it against your face yeah exactly like you're going to like you're going to have one one down your you going be swallowing them yeah Jesus Hardy I I mean next thing you know going be sticking to the refrigerator you're going to be a big problem all right make a c ring sized one absolutely cuz right now I'm just using rawh hide and it really only does one thing yes I need a mood booster I need the you know the afternoon Focus I need everything yeah you're doing speed balls at that point you're just you're putting on the melatonin and the uh and the Aderall one all right Bert uh what is going to go on with the New England Patriots what are you hearing they named Van Pelt they Mayo said he was the head coach of the offense uh what what does that mean so like I actually did a story with mayo that's in the preview um issue that's I'm this isn't a Shameless plug that's on new stands now you can plug things dude um but yeah no I I I think like Gerard's intention all along has been to be a walkaround head coach and put Demarcus Covington in charge of the defense and put Alex velt in charge of the offense and um sort of be quality control over everything so you know when you do that you do empower the coordinators on each side of the ball and um I you know look I I I know like Alex vanel wasn't the sexiest named out there um you they made a very strong offer to nickay nickay decided he want to stay with the Rams Zack Robinson was was on their radar Zach Robinson was never going anywhere else but with Raheem Morris if Raheem Morris got a job which he did in Atlanta so you know I think the one thing that they did here is they theyve looked on the offensive side of the ball jro's expertise has been on defense Demarcus Covington's a first- Time coordinator on that side and they wanted experience on that side of the ball so I the fact that Alex vanel Ben madoo TC McCartney are all coming over I think it makes sense that you're going to leave the the process of developing Drake May the process of assessing Drake May and then ultimately the decision on who's going to start largely in the hands of the offensive coaches because that's not jod Mayo's area of expert yeah it's smart I mean it is smart what do you what is Alex Van pelt's reputation around the NFL like is he suited for this we like like I feel like we've been over this discussion a lot though you know like and I know it's coming back up now because of what's happening with the quarterbacks I understand that but like he's got a good reputation um and you he coached a lot of years in Green Bay at at one point I mean and and one of the things like he's always been really good at as a former player and a guy who played in the league for a long time is somebody who can help you help the help the the climate of the locker room can help you build a program and um you know in Green Bay in a lot of different ways you know there was a point where he was the buffer between Rogers and McCarthy then in Cleveland the last couple years he was really valuable in how they dealt with a lot of weird situations the deshun Watson trade um you know all the quarterback shuffling last year and he was able to kind of maintain the the the the sort of culture they wanted in the staff the kind of culture they wanted in the locker room and I I think that's something that's going to be really valuable on a team that's probably going to lose a lot of games you know what I mean like so that's number one and then number two I like he's been around a lot of good offensive systems McCarthy like it may have gotten stale at the end of Green Bay but they scored a lot of points for a lot of years and you know then he he's in Cincinnati with Zack Taylor for that first year um so he got to see that the the McVey system from Zack Taylor then Kevin stefansky comes over his background is um in the Gary kubak system and that was what he was running the last four years in Cleveland so he's seen different ways to do it I mean his back in the west coast but he's seen a lot of different ways to run that system and um you know again I I think we're all guilty sometimes of Optics here you know and you look at him and he doesn't look like Zach Robinson right I just think that that's part of it like you see him with the camo hat and you know he's a bigger guy a dumpy looking fell and he's from Pittsburgh and kind of got that sounds like zolak you know what I mean like and so there's all of that that I think doesn't fit what your image of an offensive coordinator is right now but there's a lot of reason why he's here and why he was the right guy for ger Mar it's sort of the same concept as Shawn McVey hiring Wade Phillips when he first got to the Rams because he knew he needed an experienced guy on the other side of the ball and you know for gerro that was that was not just Alex Vel by the way it's also Ben Madu it's such a it's such a huge departure too from what was going on here last year when there was this you know apparently not enough communication for the last couple of years going on here and there was a lot of infighting between the coaches and well you know maybe I'm putting too much on it but let's let's leave it at this um maybe not a clear-cut distinction in terms of job responsibility and who is going to be doing what and whether or not they were all on the same page by virtue of the way this has been set up and it sounds like the way gerro has handled at least that aspect of it there's a pretty defined set of no you're going to be responsible for this because this isn't my area well and I think a big part of it is too it's just allowing him to become the head coach you know and trying to back stop him in as many ways as possible so he can be the head coach and um you know again there's going to be a learning curve like this is a year or two ahead of what they expected I don't care what they say right like this the expectation was the bill was still going to be here this year and obviously things kind of got to the point last year where you couldn't do that and I I get their premise I mean again like I hate keep going back to McVey but I guess that's the example right like which is the Rams logic in hiring McVey at 30 years old was better a year too early than a year too late and if we have to help him that first year then we can do that but if we wait the extra year this guy's going to be a really hot name and we could lose him so um look I'm sure we're going to be arguing you know over the next five months whether or not they should have hired Mike Rael right like because rael's name's going to get hot again right and he obviously has the ties to the franchise and there were other options out there but you know based on what they based on based on like the point at which they brought Gerard Mayo in they needed some experienced assistant coaches on the staff and there are very few assistant coaches that were available that were going to be more experienced than the combination of of of Van Pelt and madoo what is your read on their evaluation of their number one draft pick that's the any all anyone wants to know about down I think the progress is steady John like I I just I I think we get so Herky jerky here and I I told you guys um that morning after uh the Carolina game I think right like that this was part of like the sequencing that they were going to have for the quarterback and so it went from let's not throw him out there with the second offensive line let's be careful let's get his feet wet and get him the hell out of there against Carolina let's let him take his lumps a little bit in a control World environment against Philly and then let's play him a lot more in the preseason in the second preseason game so we can get him good experience and build some confidence and I think like what you're seeing and what you've seen over the last week and a half and I'm not saying that they've reinvented the wheel here but I think there's at least some glimmer that it's working right because what are you hearing out of practice now it's a lot different than what you were hearing three weeks ago sure and that I like I don't know why I haven't listened to everything here of the last few weeks i' obvious been on the road why but it but it sounds to me like it sounds to me like things have really turned on the way people are talking about the way he's practicing right and that's what I've heard too is that it's been steady all it's been steady and I mean if if we're talking much differently about Drake May than we were three weeks ago which is like he may never be an NFL quarterback to all of a sudden now like just start him throw him out there well that's at least a sign that what they're doing is working yeah I mean I was all on board with really killing the guy at 21 you know the second week of Camp saying this guy could never play in the NFL I think there was some of that though right like of course there was is Ric used which is like which is like so insane because like in April we were all sitting here saying he's not ready raw like that was his reputation going in and so there was the acknowledgement it's going to take time and yet you're sitting here in August and like declaring it over that makes no sense see Hardy said it it's if you're 35 years old or younger you have never experienced anything like this with football like you've just not experienced it in this town Point yeah in your formative years when you first started caring about sports the Patriots won their first Super Bowl and that's all you've known was winning now they didn't obviously they had stretches where you know they fell short but it's a far cry from teams that go 4 and 13 right that that is something that they've NE that a a lot of people adults who have been adults for a decade or more have not experienced a kid live growing up here it was like the Lisa Lisa olon you know Raymond Clayborn being punched by Will mcdna ER that was when I was like8 nine 10 11 years old the Victor the Victor k teams same chov I I I I was wondering the other day what it would be like like in today's environment if those teams existed oh my god oh it would be the best it would be Anarchy not that that I condone anything that happen force them to move the damn team after that but yeah it would be they probably would have moved like just happened they almost went to Connecticut anyway I mean my god well we couldn't have that I mean they're in Foxboro right around the corner if you like that clip and how could you not check out more videos from toucher and Hardy here Point slightly up and to the left for more patriots analysis and opinion hit this playlist Point slightly down and to
