hey what's up friends let's gather and chat for a bit in the NBA it's not uncommon for Star players to get hit with injuries and we all know how much that can impact their teams so let's dive into some of the most anticipated comebacks in the NBA for the next season first up we have the obvious one John Morant when he's healthy the Memphis Grizzlies are arguably a top three team in the Western Conference during the regular season there's always been a debate between johnar and Stephan Curry about who's the top point guard in the NBA and Jaws certainly made his mark on the Grizzlies franchise last season he averaged 26.2 points 5.9 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game solidifying his place among the League's best point guards his fans probably dream of seeing him compete against stars like shy gilis Alexander and Anthony Edwards a healthy John Morant is undoubtedly one of the League's finest next up is lamelo ball although the Charlotte Hornet might not be a dominant force in the league fans are eager to see how lamelo's development progresses if we're talking about pure playmaking talent lamelo is right up there with Rising Stars like Anthony Edwards Tyrese Maxi and Tyrese halberton last season from November 6th 2023 to January 21st 2024 before he got injured lamelo averaged 30.5 points 6.1 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game shooting 48% from the field 41% from the three-point line and 89% from the free throw line those are MVP level numbers folks so it'll be interesting to see if the Hornets can become a dark horse team in the East if lamelo makes a successful comeback following him is his brother Lonzo ball who was once one of the biggest prospects but hasn't quite lived up to the high expectations set by his father when Lonzo is healthy he's one of the key players for the Chicago Bulls often compared to defensive guards like Drew holiday and Derek white Lonzo is a high IQ player who makes the right basketball decisions and despite his struggles he's a valuable asset on the court hopefully he can bounce back strong next season as the backup point guard for Josh giddy with the bulls lastly there's Ben Simmons fans have mixed feelings about Simmons because even though he's not a great shooter he can still put up Draymond Green type numbers if he's healthy he could be a Difference Maker for any NBA team Simmons has had his share of challenges but we can't ignore his past performance averaging 17 points nine rebounds and eight assists per game while shooting 57% from the field he's always in the conversation when it comes to being a versatile playmaker these are the four players fans are eagerly anticipating for the upcoming NBA season what do you think guys what kind of NBA season are you expecting in 2024 to 2025
