Harrison Burton Fan Reacts to His Daytona Win

so Harrison Burton won at Daytona if you've seen this video you know I've been a Harrison Burton fan since he was a rookie and even before that in the Xfinity series I'm extremely excited for this win and if you watched that last video you know I severely doubted that this would ever happen I want to take a look at the race to explain what happened and what I was thinking as it went down so Harrison ran well all night I initially was upset because I noticed literally all the Fords except Rick wear racing qualified in the top 20 and of course Harrison was 20th but after hanging back a bit in stage one he was able to work his way up to the front and stay there for the majority of the race I was not surprised at this I know Harrison is a great drafting racer and he's just gotten bad breaks the majority of the time but anyway he falls off to the end of the pack at stage two and I was fine with this because I'd rather play it safe and win the race than crash fighting for stage points after a bit of strategy and some good moves Harrison worked his way up to sixth in line early in stage three he stayed there for a while but as other lines began to form he just stayed there and refused to move Lanes so I became a bit frustrated as he dropped back to around 20th then neim spun and brought out the caution and I thought okay if this runs green Harrison probably has no shot to win here I've seen races where it looks like you're in contention all day and then it just crumbles and no big crashes happen to slim the field then the McDow crash happens and you could just see that coming from way back now I'm intensely watching Harrison and he proves me completely wrong when I said I had better wreck avoidance than him because Harrison perfectly slows down enough to dodge the crash in front and not get run over from behind I mean really just perfect at this point I'm checking the NASCAR app to find out where Harrison is running because he snuck through it all so well the NASCAR app said he's ninth so I'm happy but the broadcast cuts and he's Fifth and I'm even more excited he comes to the restart and I thought he made a huge mistake picking the outside line pushing Byron's damaged car instead of Kyle bus but it ended up working out because the Josh Barry crash happened and promoted him to Second instantly when they started spinning I thought Harrison had the lead then I was more concerned for Barry than anything else once Barry was okay I look back and see Harrison is in second and my mind is completely racing I'm getting very nervous and I see that it's Parker redl pushing Harrison and I'm becoming even more worried finally they restart and they mess up the initial jump and start to fall back I was ready to accept defeat at this point luckily redl holds on and Bell doesn't come to the top to take away Burton's lead up there neim makes it three wide and I thought it was over but RL comes back through and builds back up the momentum as soon as this happened in turn one and I saw Kyle Bush was way out in front I knew Harrison was going to have a shot at the win he made it past Kyle without Kyle blocking just like my former favorite dri ever Newman did in 2008 at Daytona then off turn one I knew one more run was coming from Kyle and I really thought he was going to hook Harrison right before the line and it would be a repeat of the 202 500 but it wasn't and he actually won dude at this point the emotions started flowing and I didn't even realize this locked him into the playoffs the entire Victory lap until the broadcast mentioned it Lee diffy's call was fantastic and will make this moment all the more special to me for many years I still can't believe this really happened it's only the second time I've ever seen my favorite driver win since I started watching NASCAR I really hope that this win can catapult Harrison into a good ride for 2025 I don't want to stop rooting for him he's a great dude and I really feel he's one of the most underrated drivers in recent memory and who knows Atlanta and Bristol are in round one of the playoffs and he's been pretty good at those places so maybe he can squeeze into the round of 12 with enough chaos helping him thanks to all the people who instantly thought of my Harrison video after the win and left a comment I will do my best to savor this win for a long time and it's just incredibly impressive for the driver last in points to go out and win like he did no gimmicks no weather no strategy just went out and beat Kyle Bush and Christopher Bell with some great help by Parker rettl and one last thanks to everybody who's watched the channel over the past few months and helped it Grow from a few hundred subscribers to almost 2,000 so quickly thank you all so much for watching see you soon everyone CH your little boy has done it ter wins in daytoner
