yeah and we we made it very difficult from the second minute so um credit the Celtic I think what people forget about good teams really good teams is they do the simple things really well um their whole the whole group of players shouting win the second balls win your headers win your tackles they' done the simple things really well throughout the game as well as their quality and we didn't match that and if you don't put the best version of yourself out you're going to lose against Celtic as simple as that and and by no means were we anywhere near our best versions today it's been quite a draining few weeks just with all the travel European games was that a tough game again today yeah but we're a weak in between so that's not an excuse um we didn't do the simple things well enough um the goals were good from their point of view callum's goals a great finish but there certain aspects of that that should never have happened um the same for all three goals you know there's there's always mistakes and goals of course but you know when you make two and three you get punished by good players and um there wasn't enough good performances for us to get a result we've we've taken them close before beat them before um we were known nowhere near doing that today the players are always sponge I think they probably Adit that as well themselves yeah there's never a case of lack of application or energy and you know but you know we had a big strong Midfield out today more by uh I didn't have a lot all our choice because um of injuries but um we didn't land on second balls um we didn't win headers and we we didn't defend well enough we didn't do the basics to defend them well enough so for all their good play you know there's lots of things we have to look at in terms of hard work and energy of course we we always have that that's a that's a given but we didn't have the quality to get a results go killer but things like get five minutes in these didn't it the game and all that yeah and he gets bed early on um potentially could have been a penalty after that so you have to make decisions and um and we put Alex in there to protect the middle of the pitch but um we didn't really do that to be honest that didn't work um and we have to take them off to protect them from a a sending off um second half was slightly better um but it was probably more that they probably took the food off the gas rather than us really being significantly different so um yeah look we need to reset it's it's been a tough period of games yes but that's not an excuse for us today we just didn't show the best version of ourselves and as I say they done the the free stuff in football which won't get appreciated amongst the the quality but good teams do the simple things really really well and we didn't do them well enough you expected much business before Fray certainly not in no that I am aware of at this moment in time um you're always at the mercy bigger clubs for the way out people like Richard Taylor who's playing incredibly well at the minute for me going to be a top talent um and there's there's other people within the squad that you know could be but we we'll do everything in our power not to sell anybody um because we have to try and build and if we want to experience what we've experienced this season in Europe then you know we need to reset ourselves and and get going again in the league [Music]
