A Slightly Shambolic Shuffle Around the 2024 Knebworth Classic Motor Show - Part Five of Ten

[Music] good afternoon today is the 25th of August it's very windy and this is part five of such symbolic Shuffle around the 2024 nworth Classic Motor Show I do apolog in advance for this terrible wind noise for the music and announcements I'm afraid there's a lot I can do about it Year we're just going to have to bear with me it's far more annoying for me than it is for you I can assure you so we we are on the Luton and dunable mg News Club stand 6869 MGB in a very nice shade of British racing green and someone has very Tastefully put in a Biscuit leather in very nice you got this lovely oldfashioned steering wheel and wire wheels and all sorts of things so you know life is uh life is good the start of part five much older mg here probably from the 20s or 30s what exactly this model is I I don't know sort of thing that I have to look at information sheets for unfortunately somebody has provided with one which we'll look at at this side here there we go 1935 mgpb P typ there is the um off the Cami mg as it's described in information sheet there fish mouth grill MGB 1971 72 on a k fishmouth Grill wasn't used for very long actually um this be one of the later ones that had that and then um 72 73 um fall six like that we go do something new every day I can see that's actually the later Grill on this um one here I can't name that color now then um beautiful beautiful mg here very nice handsome lines on this what year is this again I got to R sheet AR here and total um which um yeah there we go 38 MGS Saloon very nice 6768 MGB again with that old steering wheel in it this has the disc wheels Al M [Music] course Fish Grill again 7273 latest do that was some different ments and some more vents mgzr 160 2002-3 showing the typical kind of spots that these tend to rust yeah front front Wings rear arches sorts of things like mg z z about 1958 something like that right next section and more MGs interesting gtf color there gold I've seen this color on a TF before see not on R and things TF interesting and then two continuation cars both of them on 10 plates made from 2008 to 2011 the continuation cars with the N series engine not the K series The N series engine unfortunate thing is that at the time you could buy I don't know a TF was a few years old for so much less money than one of these that they hardly sold any of them um they're quite highly prized now much these cars um different instruments and things you know slight variations in interior trim and things but uh yeah nice 2003 TF in truth it's probably 115 by the door MIRS on there 1973 to 19 74 MGB GT with some roast style wheels on it 2002 mg TF in Trophy blue 2002 2003 mttf in staright silver st6 2004 M gtf um approximately M gtf 160 in uh and then better for me 1993 1994 MGR V8 in dark green the beige leather interior and wood do like a nice beige level interior so more grenas here from the Granada nuts club actually this is the gr to console console 2.5 V6 stage would be a rare old thing this consols were only made to 197 five so that one I don't think it's red worthy at the moment but it's good to see it here it's been saved from uh well scrap or something 8384 Mark 2 Granada wonder what specification this actually is it's 2.8 2 L LX wow that's one most of them I see with two l Mar granadas are 2.8 gears like this with some um MK 3 Scorpio Cosworth wheels on it it's very common upgrade to these cuz it's get tires for they look good actually on that 8485 on a b 2.9 gear ax which will mean that someone swap the engine over let watch out for that big hole in the ground views there we go 8384 hhk I wonder if that's um Ford um presco originally type 9 5-speed manual again probably with the um 2.9 24 valve Scorpio cworth engine preface slift Mark 2 79 to 80 on a v yes it looks so correct like this with the um driving LPS and F Laps on it again a gear probably a 2.8 but I'm not sure 2.3 gear yes glad I checked cuz I was initially wrong 8283 on a y 2.8 injection gear Saloon a Chatsworth interior that's got the automatic most of them were Autos the manuals were quite rare gear ax also a gear ax I think these are these are the same color um wonder if those are the TRX wheels or the Gear wheels they're very slightly different um that's got the green chatworth interior the uh front spoilers like this said 2.8 injection whether not you had a injection car or not they just came like that this one very late m 3 Grenada gear estate 9394 and then um another Mark 2 here 81 to 82 on an X 5S speed manual in that one interesting gear L seen one before and then I I think this is an Irish I have seen one of these before actually when I went to Ringwood for an or Grenada meeting in 2 20201 they raced one of these it was in very very poor condition and you can see actually this looks of comical like this we keep the doors in place Bonkers isn't it but that's where we did the conversions in Ireland back in the day ' 84 and then something very close to my heart what was what used to be called the uh F SE Owners Club but is now Nissan datson Owners Club 79 to 80 datson 180b also thinking the Violet um that is a very very very nice condition amazing R the K10 micro GSX I think this is a first facelift car second fa occurred in ' 89 this is an automatic I think it's probably 1.2 if it's an automatic um 87 88 on an e very very nice um 300 C here 86 87 with the um 3 l V6 engine and there's a car that I filmed actually last year when I was here this one I can't remember if it's 85 I think it's an 85 this one these are not common cars they they're about 15 or something on the road so to see two of them together like this is um amazing then we've got another one of 7 St this one's left hand Drive shood Johnson City datson 510 was called in America then a laurel C30 C32 L all these are I've driv a c31 not C32 this one um 87 88 but replaced in this country by the maxim actually um love oldness it's probably why I own one myself 1989 n13 Sunny I've got hopefully won't be back up the road next month and then some Fords um Mark 7 Fiesta very good second down cars actually um Mark 2 Focus ST and then some more classic ones 1989 to 1990 Ford Escort XR 3i Cabriolet I think this would be 189 to 90 and then cost with rs500 yes that's more like it viewers we like this sort of thing 87 only I think 87 was were last year for those those are very valuable the rs500 uh later Sierra cosw 92 9300k um Sapphire Cosa 4x4 with some modification the interior looks very standard though and then another escort Cosworth uh second one we've seen today actually viewers be rather like that but rather a lot and then of course the Fantastic Mark 6 ST which um is a very very nice car driver I'd like to try one of these actually the only Mar ever driven have been good well well well z a magnet as well you the ZB and the Z a magnet today someone's very sensitively put a five speed gear box in there um I wonder if this has also got a brake servey with in now both of which make the cars a lot easier to live with and drive like you are um Bedford mgus Club mg um MGF this this will be prob a trophy one yeah it is excellent then a uh [Music] MGB should have the uh fish that well I think so 69 to 70 travel trala blue I have driven 197 Mar traveler tral blue drive out in March breaks were terrifying um Sora C wi about 1960 1966 Morris Miner traveler 1098cc 1970 alond green let's look at some steering wheels here yes this has the correct steering wheel for the year introduced in October 64 someone's actually put a type 9 ford gear in there because that makes it easy to drive yeah also got correct wheel in both of these this one is a um 6768 on F got the color these are must have as many moders as possible to the L of the show isn't it oh yes FD Victor here someone's dropped in something rather more powerful the original slant 4 engine V8 excellent Victor super it's certainly super Now isn't it 7172 um scam 7273 gosh it's a a rare thing some work there I think at some point then um HB V Deluxe 990 in 1969 when they were filming the episode of Rog deceased at NE house called someone just walked over my grave they actually used an HB Victor although through via it wasn't one of these it was a later one the fa thrill but there we go it's say 67 Viva Deluxe E39 bw5 Series in 1998 1999 is 523i obviously classic now as well another FD Vector in fact two FD boxes here another Super still got a full speeed gearbox in it yep still SL for there 7071 oh yes a VX 490 delicious cars these get the VX 490 and the ventor of time if you wanted more power your Pi with two different ways for is this one and then the six model which was the ventur this really nice condition considering reputation Bo High Rusty that looks great again 1771 on a j over 240 GLT got GLT wheels on it yeah looks like looks like a GLT with the interior as well it is yeah very desirable now actually the GLT 80 uh uh 7 sorry 88 89 on F Victor FB 1963 this one is fantastic very rare cars roseo Sil spirit I think um could be I suppose I think it's s Spirit 1980s a person PL so I I don't quite know then R Shadow 19771 on a j no head restra must be quite an early one mgbgt 6869 sorry mgc I do apologize in front of it first you see 69 fire Frost TFS 2005 nice color fire actually 2004 Mini Cooper R50 yeah not a Cooper is normal Cooper and CH the crossfires I have different one of these actually viewers uh all right I they look all right just not particularly impressed with the way that they handle ride is just a bit of a problem for me when I drove one but you everyone any opinion they 2006 that one that one personal plate I'm not sure do we have any V SRT six here or they just stand up ones not the greatest success I don't think people do like them though um it's a personal plate Sam on it you want to drive was an auto you could get a manual as well want I drive was an auto like this one then a uh 1991 to 1992 bnw 30 late to the shape of three series very nice actually B very nice indeed let's look at some classic minis 1985 1986 mini Mayfair heavily heavily customized I'm even sure those originally May in there anymore but um that looks looks good though Min British Open yes I think these are the original seats for it as well um Bri open about 1990 1992 I think this is a uh when he was had the uh real lights actually earlier this is a real Cooper be very early m 3 coper this one then a mini minor traveler uh Mark 2 I think this B about 196 interesting looking one woody woody yeah there's Woody um actually got two real looks on as well about of 9495 uh May Fair 189 with um any 30th Anniversary seat to this 8 45 minut just look like a Austin Mini Cooper ass again these are 1990 Miner seats in there and the rear lights from I think in Mark 3 although it's much much later than that 1966 Mark One Mini three 17 72 steering wheel like that but that's had a round front EMP on it so I don't know what's going on there never mind keep going here's 75 GT have the same FR as the club early one actually 70 to 70 uh 71 this particular car quite desirable TP 75 GTS now then um we've got um a mini with a mini trailer this one is from the early '90s it be uh 90 or 1991 same year as this one I don't think this is necessarily um look no it's a normal one very very late pick up one of the absolute last a I've never seen one in an AP before actually um so be 8 truck it'll be be made in um 82 right at the end we got some Modern Mustang I'm probably going to skip over the modern Mustang we go straight onto some the the older one look this fox body here um with the uh just think rap7 Mustang GT 2002-3 Mustang different front end from the other one three of the previous generation sh ples yes Shelby GT Model 2009 few right next section quickly VI fascinating I think this is a load of ogal I think these called the SX 100 I think they're mini based I never seen one of these in real life that's got the moris front SX uh yeah based on a mini but um different models I only have read I've never seen life and there are seven here seven goodness gracious they're tiny little things comes up to uh my waist that's crazy 61 apparently they're only like 66 ever made there we go this is more information that's 6000 was introduced in 1961 all of the came from the mini but the new shell there we go I think they were only made for like a year or so how so many of them actually survived and how many of them are here I don't know but I'm very grateful that they are here very grateful indeed so we go on to the next row lancha Delta HF integrali very nice this is a 16 valve one 1990 Japanese import but still left hand Drive sensible off his own Ian 749 870 66 excellent we uh we like that view we like it very much unfortunately we're not going to be buying it so I can't afford something like that um Cooper SC 2000 one of the very last original minis we've got a club Manor top 75 GT here which is from mid 70s 7475 one of the revived Mini Coopers here that looks actually remarkably original Saturday 1931 1970 to 71 locan S4 crazy on the fiberglass isn't that mad um we've got a T man I forget the name actually these went under was it 507 or something like that can't remember now um before the transit came out 2000 Chevrolet Corvette I think this is a c 5 Corvette from memory sorry um Mark 3 Focus ST um tuned by Ms 2015 to 16 hmer h 2 can't remember what year he came actually that plate is oral to the car I don't know could be another Sierra Cosworth hatchback is this an RS 500 no but it's still very very valuable it's early my gosh it is an early 205 F it's 1.6 8485 yeah it's got the correct Dash of the early ones in it goodness me wonder if that's really valuable it's an old one possibly 1994 1995 classic range not quite a soft Dash um those are right at the end but no sorry it is a soft Dash wow ien soft Dash in ages soft Dash with um biscuit interor and wood excellent G LSC prefer those but you know we'll get what we we'll do what we can with that I think appreciate it Rena 5 GT Turbo super sa sh three of them super vious very very that isn't is tur one dress I don't know the comment section below we have got two of them here if means that actually these are that year or not have to see be a 91 one of the very last ones um this be an earlier one 8788 on ewhere around 8283 escort xr3i the early xr3i is that one was the corre then one of these mus I think Mini City 1988 89 on a then they Mark 54 1.6 Lu as a crusader actually because by then the Crusaders were out only being 82 because that's actually be a production finish for them Pontiac go ladies and gentl formula 400 like the ones that The Rockford Files um 71 to 72 Dodge super think are they um are they kind of Challenger or something or just super PGT I don't know um another many pickup just quite a few of these here today aren't there viewers pick up 778 um then get this over with quickly Mark 2 Focus RS I think these have the 5 cylinder White 19192 Project 205 1.9 GTI one of the ones this one 1989 90 if that's on a person plate Porsche 944 S2 1987 to 1988 for [Music] Sierra very nice lightly modified but Tastefully so then we've got R1 9 Mercedes-Benz SL complete with a be le interior wood very very nice viewers it is for sale as well 320 telephone 07958 592 810 another night Mercedes here a c124 1995 320 coup again dark blue with a beige Le series and wood s 1995 no telephone number so this can't be yours you don't know how to be own um 1991 1992 and then um another one got two door 7273 on an L think the lights the back of these the same and then right at the end 6869 TR for test convertible with overdrive apparently anyway that is it for today we'll be back
