How Colbert Destroyed CNN's Already Shaky Reputation

I know you guys are objective over there that you just report the news as it is oh I know a CNN makes a and I know that's supposed to be La L it wasn't supposed to be but uh I guess it is um that CNN is biased okay it's an arm CNN the entire organization is an arm of the democratic party everyone knows this and this is why the people laughed okay because there's no such thing as CNN being objective and Reporting the objective truth no they have a bias okay they I mean recently we had Donald Trump and Elon Musk raking in 1 billion views on X and of course mainstream media including CNN did not like that okay they they published nothing but negative stories and it's funny how these people who are leftists obviously and are probably woke as well um you know they pet themselves on the back you know and the way I see it is oh yeah I'm I'm part of this delusion and I'm glad you're part of this delusion too let me continue to Pat your back and we're going to live in this delusional reality and not uh you know live in an objective reality let's go ahead and let's watch Bill M pressing Caitlyn Collins on this incident here you made press because you were on Stephen cber show and he said something like um you guys at CNN just report the news straight and the crowd burst into laughter look I'm on CNN now I guess we're on it right now I mean they showed this show the next night I don't know how they I don't know how we get away with it with all the but they do uh and all these dirty jokes uh but I'm glad and and I'm a big Rooter for CNN but that tells you a lot doesn't it I mean how how do you guys think you are doing is in that Arena of like this is a terribly divided country we're not only politicized a lot of people just hate the other side and CNN in my view should be the place where both sides can watch how do you think you're doing with that how is C CNN is the place where both sides can watch and and I think you know my show is evidence of that we have lawmakers on from both parties we'll have Elizabeth Warren on one one night we'll have Ted Cruz on another night I think lawmakers from both parties should take questions and you should push both of them but but on the on CNN being a place of credibility I mean look at what just happened in Chicago we had 300 people from CNN on the ground covering that convention there were several reporters from just our team alone on the floor uh bringing it in real time to people and I think CNN puts resources behind things and just brings a level of news that you don't get anywhere else and and I think CNN does I'm talking about the people on CNN and what I I know what the conservative side of America thinks and I don't blame them I watched comea speech last night it ended at 8:09 I guess 11:09 in the East if it wasn't until 11:23 till the conser the one conservative Guy what's his name Scott Jennings lonely Scott I call him David Urban was there too wait a second wait a second I watched from 809 to 823 they were just gushing about how greatest speech it was and I think she did fine I didn't think it was as good as they were making it out to be but if I'm a conservative in America and I'm watching CNN Just For The Straight middle of the road that's what I hear for 15 minutes is it's great and then Lely Scott it does look I mean and when you see the P it does look like tokenism it's kind of like the same as the view it's like it's almost better to have nobody there like MSNBC than to have just well I don't think you can I don't think you could say I don't think you could say it's better to have nobody there than also lament the fact that you don't think the conservative guy Scott Jennings who is great and and we have him on my show all the time spoke up early enough I I think it was a democratic convention they turn to Democrats people like David Axelrod who ran successful presidential Democratic campaigns first for for their analysis of this and I don't think that you can say that that CNN is anything but fair I mean look at that we covered President Biden's exit from the race very closely the pressure on him to get out and I feel like I can speak with authority on this I'm from Alabama I'm from a very red State I have a very conservative family a lot of them who are Trump voters they watch my show every night and and I think they know that they can they can trust me that you know we call on every side not just whatever leaning our our audience may be and and I think that's something that people actually want more of is to hear from that I think Scott's voice is really important but I think other voices are important to hear from and everyone who who was speaking last night it's not like they were all Democrats I mean we Dana Bash Jake Tapper Abby philli all my amazing colleagues they come across that analysis they come across that way in a moment like that it was like 5 to one it always looks like 5 to1 okay I'll move on so in my opinion Caitlyn Collins is full of okay because she did mention the idea that they were covering the tail end of Joe Biden dropping out of the race and they provided pressure for him to drop out of the race uh which by the way um you I would take it a step further and say that you guys forced him out the Democratic party forced him out including mainstream unit forced him out because they knew they were going to lose against Donald Trump and then they elected kamla Harris they literally installed her from the top down meaning that the elites chose her and not the people she she was not elected she was selected right everyone knows that at this point we saw Gavin knew some joke about it and yet they want to the Democratic party the left wants to say that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy so if you're one of those people honestly just eat a sock and go away um now going back to what Caitlyn Collins said she said that oh we covered Joe Biden dropping out of the race and we provided pressure for him to drop out of the race but yeah but what were you doing before that because we all knew that Joe Biden was scile but you guys weren't covering it in that way you guys you guys only covered it in a way that he was scile right you only you only shed light on the idea that he was scile only when you all knew that he was not going he wasn't going to win the race so you were not you were not being objective because everyone knew especially conservatives knew that Joe Biden was on a mental decline there was there was a ton of examples online a ton of video clips a ton of of of of Clips him like losing train of thought losing his words uh you know half the time he just like looked he he just looked like he was lost like he didn't know where he was and you you she has the audacity to sit here and say oh but but we're Fair were Fair no you're not you you did not report the news objectively you did not report that Biden was on a cognitive decline you only did that when you all realized that he was going to lose the election so I just wanted to point that out and on top of that guys CNN was recording RFK given his speech his Dropout when he sent when he suspended his campaign and Endor Trump they literally cut him off in his speech they censored him and and the the ironic portion of all this is that RFK was literally saying hey you know what I'm not going to endorse the Democratic party because X Y and Z and one of those points was because of censorship and you just literally proved his point on live TV so CNN is trash Caitlyn Collins is trash and
