Teen charged for setting fires in SE Calgary neighbourhood; second teen sought

a 16-year-old boy has been charged with disregard for human life among other charges for his role in a series of fires that damaged multiple homes in southeast Calgary late last month the boy who cannot be named due to his age is also charged with causing fire to a dwelling or house and Mischief just before 1:00 a.m. on August 22 police were alerted to a fire at a residence along riverglenn Crescent Southeast a garage was destroyed and two nearby homes were damaged that same night there were fires set in two recycling bins in the back alley of River Valley Crescent police are looking for a second suspect believed to be involved described as 16 years old wearing a white camouflage sweater black shorts an armag green satchel and light brown or green croc shoes the teenager who has been charged is expected to appear in court on October 4th
