this guy is number three in the world but hasn't won a major championship for 10 years another PGA a tour campaign has ended and therefore another campaign where Rory maoy has not met the expectations generated despite the fact that in previous years he camouflaged the lack of Majors by winning the FedEx Cup this year he was only able to win the Wells Fargo Championship and the Zurich Classic however the big stain on mckelroy season was when he let the US Open slip away against Bryson dambo with three boggies in the last five holes he ended up losing the major by just one stroke according to him the psychological impact of this tough defeat meant a drop in performance for the rest of the season from which he was unable to recover and I'm going to just have to think about trying to build in a few extra breaks here and there next year and going forward because I felt like I hit a bit of a wall sort of post US Open and still feel a little bit of that hangover do you think mckelroy will be able to bounce back next season follow us for more golf content
