Intro welcome back to the love luxury youtube channel today we're going to be talking about this 5167 our patek philly this is the aquanaut it's very special don't forget to hit subscribe like and comment [Music] Discover the Patek Philippe Aquanaut thank you so much for joining us here at love luxury today we are going to be letting this absolutely fabulous timepiece do the talking for itself this is the patek philippe aquanaut 5167r-001 this is also available at love luxury to purchase now so first things first here is the box that the watch came in and this as you can see is a lacquered wooden box it has the calatrava cross on the top with this metal locking mechanism i'll just flick that up so you can see there you go it's engraved with patek philippe along the top there and it has these metallic feet the box is lined with cream suede it has the signature patek philippe with the color drive across and the void there for the watch to go in and as you can see this is a very well crafted box Everything you need to know about the Patek Philippe Aquanaut let's talk about this fantastic timepiece so as we know this is a patek philippe this is the aquanaut 5167r-001 this is a 2022 model it's brand new comes with full set box and papers and it's available to view now in our knightsbridge store this model was launched in 1997 and the reason sales rocketed on this watch is because of how young modern and that it was marketed as a sports watch it is a sports watch it doesn't look like it it looks like a dress watch but no mistaking the capabilities of this watch this watch is water resistant up to 120 meters that really is great for the avid sports person the case on this watch is very reminiscent of the nautilus and as you can see it has this lovely rounded edge to it on the octagonal bezel here it has these polished edges but the flat surfaces are brushed the dial features this embossed pattern geometric pattern which follows through onto the strap but also has these gold numerals that have the luminescent coating which basically makes it glow in the dark so this is a fold over clasp that also here you can see is the kalatrava cross but once we open up inside we also have more color travel crosses inside it features the double push down mechanism which releases the clasp at the back there the smallest circumference of the strap is 14 centimeters and it goes upwards from there so if your wrist is smaller than 14 centimeters i think you're going to find a problem with this particular model the mechanism of the watch is a 26 33 sc and it has a date and the sweeping seconds hand if you're enjoying the video so far don't forget to hit subscribe like and comment what i personally love about this watch is the rose gold casing and it really is such a statement piece it is so beautiful with this chocolate dark brown strap and dial the back of the watch is called a skeleton or exhibition back and that's named so because we can see through the watch normally a lot of watches have a solid back Measurements of the Patek Philippe Aquanaut so lug tip to lug tip is 47.1 millimeters and between lugs is 21 millimeters like i said before the lugs are polished and also brushed these watches come along very few and How much does a Patek Philippe Aquanaut cost? far between the retail of this particular model at the moment is 33 700 great british pounds and on the grain market we would be looking at selling this watch before between ninety thousand and a hundred thousand pounds More about the Patek Philippe Aquanaut all in all if you can get your hands on one of these from the boutique this is a fantastic investment to instantly resell i think that on the secondary market the price for these very limited models of watches is only going to increase over time this is really a classic piece like i said it's marketed as a sports watch but let's be honest you really could wear this out to a dinner event or a party and it really would fit in well wearing underneath the suit this is not so thick that you're going to struggle to fit it under your suit jacket sleeve i thought i'd try it on and show you what it looks like actually on a wrist obviously this is way too big for me on the strap and i have to be honest although the lug to lug tip doesn't look too bad on me i don't think i'd personally feel comfortable i do feel like this is more of a gentleman's watch but obviously there are going to be women out there who are going to equally enjoy this watch particularly with the pink rose gold i turned the lights off to show you the glow-in-the-dark feature and you can see even with this little crack of daylight coming in to my left it still is glowing Outro thank you so much for watching this video about the patek philippe 5167r-001 we hope that you found it really informative don't forget to hit subscribe like and comment tell me [Music] you
