before we discussed the Premier League match uh I wanted to talk about a little bit about FSG oh not you guys do you guys think that FSG and I'll start off with um MOA here do you think the FSG has set us up for for for the upcoming season in good stead by getting rid of uh the young players and making room in the squad what do you see it as uh detrimental to our season getting rid of our depth it's it's a way and see thing it's like you know when Chelsea sold their players sold their young players and and and they became good it's like but at the same time Chelsea sold a couple of talent that were not as great and it's like and it's you're making you're making money back that's the whole thing and it's we've done this before with Liverpool with like players like Jordan I and Dominic salanki but we sold them to Bournemouth and now we sold two players to B same way similar in so it's like it's always it's always a we and see thing it's always like Dominic sanki now is is a great player he's playing for Tottenham now you see what I mean like it's always it's always gonna be a wait and see thing but I me personally players like Bobby Clark uh Harvey Harvey Blair we gonna get into the first team realistically so it's one of those ones like you might as well and and was Bobby Clark like 11 mil 10 mil I'll take them man move them on I think one best for him anyway I think set us up well no I do not because here's the thing right we sold carvalo right now carvalo played against Arsenal and United and scored against both opponents in preseason that's that's good opposition so no one can tell me that he wouldn't do a job from the bench at least I'm not saying he's good enough to start but as a bench player he's good enough to play for Liverpool Football Club certainly better than signing nobody right so I I I I don't think I don't think they're doing a good job at all now if we replace those guys then that's a different conversation but in seven days do you think that we're going to do it I mean we've we've we've been here now for near two and a half months and we haven't done anything so I don't think anything's going to change yeah yeah I've those two comments that came up from Don H we used to we used to what is it go at it but what is this way isn't it like situations change once once uh we see that the best manager ever happened to us leave and then a new a new manager comes in and doesn't really get backed you tend to start to ask questions and uh that's that's what I've been doing lately um Anton yes bro some people some people are but if you look at FSG now it's s to sell now do you know what I mean it's now they've always been like this they've always been like this from day one they've always been like from day one when they spent money because me and fuzzy was talking the other day from day one when they spent money on Andy Caroll and they spent like 35 million on him and they wasn't too happy about it and when you think about it nobody held a gun to their head this is what they done they decided Andy car was the one that sort like they wanted they spent 35 million on Andy car and ever since then theyve got this transfer Committee in to sort of like pen pinch these sort of like transfers so in other words what you had is a system where if the manager wanted a player right he couldn't just go out and get a player he had to go through the transfer committee and say look I want this player yeah I want this player and that player and they tell them if it tell them if it's possible to get that player and usually it was no they had some of Target in place je I'm saying now the structure structure of what we've got told this season was we got told um for two months yeah that August is going to be a busy time yeah it's going to be a busy time right a this is what I would say August come like um who that where that noise coming from man what it's airplane man what's going on someone's got a haird dryer is not pulling together with Liverpool yeah is just putting money in their pockets that can't be right that cannot be right and then nobody could tell me the day that is right yeah we needed a six we it's going to be the same because all they're going to do with they is suck money at the club to fund their own interest you know what I mean to get to acquire other things to make more money they they don't care about Liverpool they don't care about the fans because theyve mugged us off for 13 years 13 years we got to listen to excuses from these people and I'm telling you it's time they go where we what positions we need to fill in don't we you know I mean which is the DM position and most obviously most of all the center back position two players left which is Thiago and matp so we need to replace them as soon as possible in order for us to challenge or be in the top four that's the two position positions which are crucial at the moment for us to F in we can't go into a season with PR players and expect you know any difference you know what I mean guys so that's a dangerous game already so um it's not the sake it's not like signing for the sake of signing is is something they should have you know looked at a while ago Marco Edwards you know didn't have a job for a while so surely to God he should have known that the problems we're facing on that pitch this is not a new thing for Liverpool Football Club this has been happening since what since fabinho was declining so all those years we should have known the positions we need to fill in M you what I mean but I about um Ryan graber's role and him growing into this six uh role that that slot seems to start to starting to like I remember getting told last season he might be getting put into this role um by Club but it was it just didn't work out it didn't get enough minutes that here and there now he's actually doing the doing that role but in in the in the double pivot it's like I don't know if it's gonna be consistent but he was good last game I don't know if he's gonna keep keep keep continuing this in the Champions League or in like big games like against cityu against Arsenal against those kind of games against top six but in these kind of games it's it's good to try stuff it's good to good to see where and who where to put players where to see where to see um let's say uh where to see if um the the players can fit into this position or that position you know I mean because we know Graber is normally an eight but is a different kind of eight to where a ctis Jones is or mallister is if you understand what I mean so it's like it's it's good to see where where he where he can fit into this one even though it's not his favorite position if you understand what I mean like I I me personally this first game was good I don't know if it's gonna I don't know if it's going to be the same next game because brenford is a bit more aggressive but we'll see if it's in that kind of game where it's aggressive it's high Tempo we'll see we'll see if it still works but we worked in this game perfect perfectly fine yeah let me let me come to FY in this one um we saw that uh malles didn't have the best game against X switch yeah um what what what do you put that that down to is it um he's still he's still uh coming up to Pace with with what is it you know getting fit getting uh ready for the season he's not he's not match fit yet or is a little bit Rusty or do you say that maybe um he might not suit a slot style because some people are starting to you know say that uh mallister doesn't suit um a slot system he's he's too slow and and what have you I don't think it's anything to do with McAllister's you know the way he's playing at the moment the the the issues we're facing guys like they've only come back for like from the cup America and you know the European cups two weeks ago so they're still playing the yogan club system if you know what I mean so um Anis slot hasn't had enough time to spend with the team to you know put his ideas forward so this is why we're seeing you know similar formation to the yogan club like Trent is inverting isn't he so he's doing things like that you know we ain't putting enough you know crosses into the box as as we as IR slot team normally does so like I said in the past we just have to wait because he has to implement his ideas maybe the next game will be different to the last game because the second half the way we came out was a different team if you guys know what I mean um with in regards to U mallister mallister is a quality player mallister is a worldclass player in my opinion the way he performs you know I mean in the highest level you know Messi V for him to play in the Argentina team they said he said if we get him on we will actually you know win the the World Cup and he did did so um he's playing double pivot he's helping out mallister at the moment he's not playing the you know 433 like as an slot would like he did at final um so you know like what we saw you know famin he had number nine role it took him a while to get used to it didn't it and you know eventually he understood what his role was then he became one of the best players yeah so with with u with with mallister um obviously he's taking care of you know not himself but you know graen bir as well at the same time so this is why his gamees a little bit off but as I said they've only spent two weeks with the with the football club since they come back from holiday so it will take time don't get but you know I mean mist is a worldclass player guys I will never lose that guy you know I mean um I know he had an off game but who hasn't had an off game Geral hasn't had an off game in the past everybody does yeah facts that's fact Anton I wanted to come to you and I know you've played football at a decent level yeah um soos he's got the energy he's got the legs yeah is he a number 10 though is he a a person that can unlock defense defenses for me P personally say mallister will be well suited in mallister mallister is more of the um he he he's the organizer and when I mean organizer he he links things together you can see that where he plays I'm not saying he's what I say he's javes for us and when he plays that's the how he plays that way kind of thing he connects to dots kind of thing so I was like he's got the techn the tech to be an attacking Fielder a good a good number 10 but he he's just obviously yet to prove it I've seen him do it for um lapic and all the other years he's playing yeah but he's still I still got give him time I can't really can't really say now until until he starts doing it you know what I'm saying and if they're moving him different positions and he had to do a lot of positions last last season as well he had to track back a lot as well it he had to do a lot track back don't really do that you know what I'm saying they're the guy they're going to cause problems going forward you know pass or the assist before the assist a trick to make something happen he there's something there there is something there there is something there but whatever it come out this season is yet to be seen it's still early doors so hopefully with slot's new way playing a double pivot and and a number 10 and hopefully he's the number 10 and going forward and I think I think he's got got he's got the capacity to do so he's got the capacity is just the proove it or not yeah that's true um uncle I want to come to you this player is a how can I put it is an enigma or his like Mite you either like him or you don't like um Lis Diaz oh got all the skills got all the ability to beat a man does he lack that final decision making that past that final pass or that final you know decisive action to score a goal because he could have squared it for Salah um the other day instead of trying to flick it over the keeper do you do do we bring in gagp back in or on that left side or we still stick with Diaz in your opinion um bring back gapo in because like one thing about L Diaz well I don't like he just can't finish do you know what I mean I my mind casts back to the uh um man city game when what I mean you know he just that sort like when he gets to that that part that that that that that part he just he loses all inhibitions he just loses his mind and he just he just doesn't go in for for some reason do you know what I mean sometimes yeah you know he has he had time many he scores but most of the times I think he's just like um more cons concerned about the fanty footw that he can do do you know I'm saying you know flicks and tricks and all that sort of stuff but that only that only is good when you actually score and he doesn't do you know what I mean so I think bring back gapo because gapo is more decisive on that side when gapo gets into good positions yeah he's going to score you know I mean he's going to score your goal do you know what I mean you can rely on him still put this way those two chances that um that Luis Diaz had against Man City if that was gapo game over game over game over you know what I mean so that's why to be fair if they was to sell Lis Diaz and we could pick up good money for him if I knew that money was going to go back back into the team yeah I would say sell him I would say sell him I would say I would say sell him but it's only because I don't only because I know that money is not go go back into the squad I said keeping you might as well just keep him do you know what I mean but like yeah he's he just lacks that decisive
