Broncos QBs React To Bo Nix Being Named The Starter

all right everyone so Broncos QB's Jarrett stum and Zack Wilson reacted to B Knicks being named the stared quarterback here is what they had to yeah I was excited for him I mean I don't think it was a surprise too much obviously right I think he's had a great Camp um you know I told him I'm excited for him for this opportunity I really I really believe that they're putting him in a good situation I think Sean has done a phenomenal job and then the guys that we get to hang out with you know starting with Davis and then Joe and Pete and then Johnny Mo you know we have a great offensive staff I think they do a great job um and then Bo has just continued to keep getting better you know so I'm excited to see what he can do and and U I think he's ready for it I mean first of all obviously I was very disappointed you know um I know I'm a starting quarterback in this league I have zero doubts about that and you know it just didn't shake out my way um but I know what kind of player I am um kind of person I am and I like I said earlier I'll be ready to go if if I need to be and um yeah like I said I I have no doubts that I'm a I'm starting caliber quarterback in this league yeah I mean obviously I'm I'm going to do whatever I can to to help B get prepared U obviously he's never had he's never had a a real season like this in the NFL so um you know I'm going to help help him in whatever way I can uh and then also be be ready to go if if you know if I if I need to be so uh you know just ready ready for the season to get here and get started so one of the more interesting Parts about this is that Shawn Payton is really going all in on bcks right I think everybody kind of considered you know when he was drafted there kind of like wow this is kind of a reach for a quarterback here because obviously you know the Broncos weren't one of those teams drafting amongst the first three Michael penx was taken by the Falcons so people were like you know this might be kind of a reach but it's pretty clear that Shawn Payton at least at this point Didn't consider it a reach I remember headlined at the time you know cuz he was saying he was tricking teams into you know not drafting them and all this other stuff I remember those were the headlines at the time were a kind of mocking of Shawn Payton but he's making it pretty clear he wasn't kidding right this is exactly what he wanted and if bonix doesn't work out I think this is going to be a problem for Shawn pton and this team but I think a lot of people recognize Shawn Payton's a really good coach he's going to be able to figure out a way to get this thing working and we'll see if bonck even early can start you know if he just looks like he's competent this year the wins and losses of the Broncos don't really matter if he just looks competent I think people are going to put this team into the category of a bright future so thank you all for watching and we will see you next
