Changing Name to Redskins? New Stadium Update! | Commanders vs Patriots Recap!

what is good y'all man it is your boy Brandon or BJ and welcome to one of one Sports Talk the number one Commander's YouTube channel for Barber Shop Talk Sports Talk and all that man appreciate y'all coming through if you guys do not know we are playing the New England Patriots it's about the end of the game but I decided to record the video right before the end of the game just so I can get it out to you guys real quick and talk about not only the game but the press conference that Josh Harris had with the media lot of information that was put out there so we're definitely going to dive into that man but before we do that hit that like button hit that subscribe button and also hit that post notification Bell so you guys will be notified anytime I post a video let's get straight to it so since the game is going on now I just want to get into the game real quick um not too too much to talk about again it it is our third preseason game our starter did not play obviously and a lot of players we wanted to see play didn't play unfortunately Emanuel Forbes didn't play Ben St juice didn't play I don't think any of the secondary played secondary starters or potential starters I didn't see too much Luke mcaffrey I didn't see too much ID zakus I don't even think I seen them at all to be honest so that was an unfortunate thing that we had with the game they did not play however we were able to see players like Jeremy Reeves who honestly I felt like he had a good game the the instances that I did see him I still got to go watch all the other stuff maybe some stuff that I did miss but from what I've seen in the first half and a little bit of the second half he had a good game man made some good tackles made some big tackles and was there honestly I think in the beginning of the game he made a a tackle on kickoff that was that was really uh really good so shout out to Jeremy re hopefully he makes a team former pro bowler but again nothing is guaranteed so we will see if this game game makes any difference at all another person that stood out to me maybe not in the best way was Derek Forester I'm a big Derek Forester fan I wanted to succeed but I saw a play that it ended up being a flag on their end because of one of the linemen but he had a wide open TouchDown and although like I said it was called back because of the lineman and he had a penalty these things are things that the coaches are going to take into consideration this was like the third quarter so if you're doing this in the third quarter of a of a third preseason game when no starters are playing at all and barely any of the the second second stringers and you're doing that it's not a good sign um I seen a tweet that said that may be the play that gets him out of here so we will see what happens with Derek Forester hopefully he succeeds y'all know I'm a huge Derek Forester fan but we are going to see um KJ Henry I saw that he had a good sack on jacobe right before jacobe actually went out of the game it says that he is questionable so PR's up to jacobe pretty good game again it's third game of the preseason not too much to dive into would have loved to see Emanuel Forbes or even Luke McCaffrey get some plays just just so that we can see how they can kind of be worked into the offense and I wanted emanu forb to get more reps on defense but you know it is what it is season is two weeks away college football season is here and it's an excited time man it's it's an excited time so to get into the press conference just to wrap up some things that he talked about talked about if you guys have not seen it it is on the Washington Commander YouTube page so go ahead and check it out if you guys want to hear it for yourself but he talked about the stadium and really there's no real update especially with the election coming up you know I assume because of Washington DC and how prominent it is when it comes to politics and the president of the United States it makes sense why that would push it off he said there there's no real update they're talking with different people but in in terms of any concrete updates or anything like that we would probably be waiting until the election is over to I guess really high roll that process so super exciting time but again we just have to be patient man we have to be patient see where where this stadium is going to be and also he said that the practice facility will be figured out along with the new stadium so we will see what happens man didn't have a lot to share for that again have to wait until the election is over he also talked about jayen Daniels and he was very optimistic and excited about him he s he said that he was a a good player an exciting player and that's obviously what you want to hear from the owner so shout out to Dan Jaden Daniels and he's been showing it man he's been balling out so it's super super dope to see they also uh showed some new food that they're going to be selling at the stadium which I thought was pretty funny pretty interesting I guess they had like a mac and cheese that he talked about was a little too much um I get him I get him you know what I'm saying you can't have too much too much cheese I'm lactose tolerant so going to be in the toilet for a long time cannot do that but they also show some nachos and some different foods so it's it's going to be cool to see that man see the different foods that they have and you know I can't wait to get out there and go to a game and experience it all for myself so he also talked about practice you know he's been at a lot of practices and he's been at a lot of uh joint practices and he said that you know it's a good practice and he likes how the Vets are setting a good example you know we got vets like Bobby Wagner Terry mclen Jonathan Allen um just the name a few so to see those guys really take the young guys under their wing and you know what I'm saying Hub them out super super dope Josh Harris also talked about they're looking for a new president I'm I'm assuming that's going to be the main priority in which they're trying to hire for they probably have other positions that they do want to hire again I'm assuming he's going to want to change all of Dan Snider's moves that he made in terms of front office so not too sure on what candidates that I do want have to do a little bit more research on that but that is what Josh Harris is looking for some other good news is that they are going to finally finally change that Shawn Taylor statue I remember when they revealed it I was just flabbergasted y'all I was like this guy's not serious like they revealed it and it looked like a whole bunch of hangers it was crazy so super excited that they are changing that and they are working with the family hopefully they can do something like the Ray Lewis statue I'm excited to see what they do and I like that Josh Harris said something along the lines of he wants to honor Sean Taylor and all the other players so so that it can become a destination for other players you know players take that into consideration like how they treat their evets if I give myself to the franchise and I do some great things here how are you guys going to reward me and just help me feel honored and I don't think we did a good job of that with Dan Snider so to have Josh Harris change that whole culture as well with it man Bravo to shant Bravo to Josh Harris we saw what he did with Daryl uh Daryl green so shout out to him man keeps on changing the culture going crazy um also talked about the draft potentially being in Washington he wants that to make a thing I I think that'll be dope to see and I think that it'll probably be after we have the new stadium and after we're pretty much established into the NFL so that's going to be exciting times he also said that no on the old name now I know a lot of people wanted to go back to the Redskins he said it's not going back so any fan that thought that we're going back to the Redskins or were're hoping for it that little little in which I don't even know why just we're not going back to the Redskins but that does not mean that he is not thinking about any other names he did say that it's a thought you know he's a he grew up a fan just like we did and he wants to make the right decision that not only honors the old fan base and the the the times that we had in the past but also wants to create a new culture a new a new definition of who we are you know what I'm saying in a more positive light so said no to the old name could be a potential new name but they're not even focused on that they're focused on number one which is winning games which if you're a fan I hope that you're focused on that too that's what I'm focusing man I am I particularly a fan of the Commander's name side but I'm not really tripping because I want to win games like I'm tired of being on the losing end yo the last time I I could even remember us winning was with Taylor haniki when we magically fell into the playoffs into a wild card spot so that's when the legend of Taylor haniki started when he we almost beat beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he was looking like Lamar Jackson you know what I'm saying so I just want to win games man and I'm hoping that we do this upcoming season but the season is two weeks away from or yeah two weeks away next week is going to be a bye so we won't have a game but I will still be putting out a video for you guys um but we also have college football man which I'm so excited for y' I think I decided I'm going to be a ASU fan man I love Arizona like I I've been expressing I I really do love Arizona so I'mma I'm going show my love to ASU I love their uniform you you already know they got the kind of maroonish burgundy with gold you know what I'm saying burgundy and gold so um shout out to them shout out to ASU and shout out to this college football man cuz it's going to be a great
