purpose only to share nude photos of A-list celebrities photos that were illegally obtained and posted on the internet for the world to see now prior to this it wasn't odd to see a celebrity's uh private photos pop up on the web from time to time and every time it happened people would lose their minds but this wasn't just one or two picks we're talking about here it was hundreds no thousands of explicit photos Selena Gomez Scarlett Johansson Rihanna Ariana Grande Danny DeVito no one was safe and every Coomer on the planet was losing their minds Reddit was getting more traffic than your mom's bedroom on a Friday night their servers were getting so overloaded that the website was crashing every few minutes meanwhile if you flipped on the old television every new station from Fox to MSNBC were talking about this Reddit leak that they dubbed celeb game even Tucker Carlson had a segment on it breaking news in the last 24 hours hundreds of nude photos of celebrities have been uploaded to the website reddit.com the radical left doesn't want you to see these glorious jugs they don't want you to look at calcium cannons well I personally plan to spend my entire afternoon browsing Reddit and looking at photos of mommy milkers until my eyes [ __ ] bleed the left-wing media can try and stop me but they won't nobody knew where these pictures were coming from or why they were all popping up at once and honestly we didn't really care we were just enjoying the show [ __ ] at least I know I was but once that post not Clarity kicked in I started thinking hey wait a minute this is actually kind of tough like these are real people and some degenerators hacked into their private photos and released them to the public who would do such a thing well to answer that question we have to go to a place where degenerates are born and bred 4chan do we even know who is this 4chan 4Chan if you listen to The Lame stream media they would have you believe that these leaks were posted directly to Reddit but that's not the case you see everything that's on Reddit was at one point on 4chan and this was no different hours before r slash the fappening was created all of these private photos were first leaked in a 4chan post and believe it or not the rabbit hole goes even deeper because 4chan wasn't even the source the real source of these photos was a website called Anon IB a 4chan offshoot full of sweaty flameels who spent way too much time surfing the web and not enough time getting some hoes if these Paying Bills fellas would have just subscribed to scentbird perhaps they would have had the confidence to leave the house it wouldn't have to resort to spending hours upon hours breaking into celebrities private photos just to feel alive what December you may IB now as we all know 4chan has always been known for shenanigans and tomfoolery especially the B board where rules were rarely if ever enforced jailbait doxing and attacks on other websites were common but in the summer of 2006 things started to get a little out of hand B was getting infested with uncomfortable amounts of jailbait lowly's Franklin the Turtle and other degeneracy and it seemed like there was a new attack or Raid going on every other day and one month alone 4chan rated Zelda guide Habbo Hotel wikifer my God Zelda universe teenbaby.org and countless random Myspace profiles eventually reddit's administration had to step in and do the unthinkable and force the rules on August 23 2006 at 2 53 PM 4chan founder Moon posted the following morning participating in illegal content will get you banned this includes jailbait and any other gray area threads participating in an invasion of any sort will also get you banned this post would change 4chan forever that same day half of the population left and went to other websites with less restrictions one of these websites was Anon IB which would eventually become ground zero for the event that would come to be known as the fabinet now unlike 4chan where users could go to discuss a wide variety of random topics and on IB was mostly focused on prawn the most popular image board on the entire website was stole which was dedicated to well stolen photos specifically of naked women you see the gentleman of stole spent most of their free time trying to break into women's phones and steal their private photos and once these photos or wins as they were known were obtained they would betrayed in them like they were [ __ ] Pokemon cards and the rarest and most sought after of wins were of course of celebrities the more famous the better on the rare occasions when somebody posted a celeb in their birthday suit the board would go absolutely bananas but getting pictures of celebrities was no easy task not just any schmuck with an internet connection could do it most people on and on IB were amateurs sure they could hack into their ex-girlfriend's phone and rip a couple of photos but they didn't have the chops to get famous anus picks but deep in the depths of stole it was a small group of Highly skilled hackers with way too much time on their hands these men only dealt in the most succulent of wins I'm talking A-list celebrities according to a 4chan user who was also a regular on stole there's been a small underground celeb new trading ring that's existed for years the only way to join the ring is by buying in with original picks wins as they call them that you've required by yourself these guys conduct individual attacks on celebs through I presume a mix of social engineering and straight up hacking they trade with each other to expand their collections the circle hardly ever widens to include more people very few people even find out about this ring and fewer still have nudes to buy in with but it turns out this group wasn't even that secretive if you look at some old Anon IB archives you'll find public posts of people trying to facilitate trades trading celebs I have a huge list and wanted to trade for some lesser known ones some of the hackers even advertise their The Big Leak services so there was a whole Black Market going around where hackers would either sell their illegally obtained photos share them with the community or just hoard them for themselves either way the pictures were confined to a pretty small group of people on the stole board for the most part until one day one greedy putz decided to blow the whole thing up some guy who will call Gerald woke up one day and thought of an excellent business opportunity he would build up the biggest stockpile of spicy celebrity photos in history and sell them for a [ __ ] ton of Bitcoin it was a foolproof plan so our boy Gerald got to work immediately and spent the next few months painstakingly building his collection he was making trades spending Bitcoin and scouring the dark web for hours this mother sucker could have cured cancer with just 10 percent of the effort he put into sourcing these nudes but when it was all said and done after pouring his blood sweat tears and other bodily liquids I won't mention into it he finally did it Gerald amassed the greatest collection of celebrity nudes in history and in August of 2014 it was time to set his planet to motion phase one was to shop his collection around Anon IB and see if he could get any bites so we posted a few teasers censored photos of A-list celebrities that no one had seen before then he offered the uncensored versions in exchange for Bitcoin word quickly spread that some guy on Stole was hoarding major wins despite a healthy amount of Interest the cheap bastards on and on IB weren't willing to pay for this Treasure Trove but that's okay though because our boy Gerald foresaw this so it was time to move on to phase two August 31st 2014 a post was made on 4chan with the caption a mere drop in the bucket with dozens of explicit images Aubry Plaza Kirsten dunce Vanessa Hudgens Victoria Justice Kate Upton these were just a few of the women that made an appearance and of course a Bitcoin address was posted along with the photos where people could pay for other photos that weren't included and it seemed like phase two was going well the next day Gerald made this post on an IB guys just to let you know I didn't do this by myself there are several other people who were in on it and I needed to count on to make this happen this is the result of several months of long and hard work by all involved we appreciate your donations and applaud your excitement I will soon be moving to another location from which I will continue to post while the anions on 4chan were ecstatic to be looking at these images the other members of anon IB were pissed that Gerald blew up their whole operation well he didn't care he was making Shmoney but there was one crucial detail he didn't think about since he broke the unspoken rule of stole by going public Gerald opened the floodgates there was nothing holding back to other collectors from dumping their own Collections and that's exactly what they did the other members of the trading ring were scrambling for a piece of the action they all wanted to make a little cash so every few minutes there was a new photo dump on 4chan the servers quickly got overloaded and 4chan crashed multiple times from all the Reddit traffic but this was just the tip of the iceberg when the photo started showing up on Reddit is when [ __ ] really started to hit the fan it started off small with just two photos one of Jennifer Lawrence the other of Kate Upton from there the situation immediately started spiraling out of control with new images getting leaked every few seconds it wouldn't be long before the entire front page of Reddit was absolutely inundated with Alice coochie it was around this time that the name the fappening made its first appearance and Reddit user U slash John mcjohn liked the name so much that he made an entire subreddit dedicated to it so or slash the fappening was born and this was by far the fastest growing subred of all time gaining a hundred thousand subscribers within the first 24 hours alone everybody and their mothers were talking about it my grandma and [ __ ] Uzbekistan called me and asked me if I saw Kate Upton's areola and it also sparked the whole ass ethical debate on whether or not you were a bad person for viewing these images some people thought it wasn't a big deal While others like Jennifer Lawrence compared looking at her nudes to a sensual offense and you know I can't really blame her for being mad because out of the 600 celebrities affected by this leak she got it the worst by four she had somehow become the face of celeb Gates and she was not happy about it when I first found out it was happening my security reached out to me it was happening minute to minute it was almost like a ransom situation where they were releasing new ones every hour or so and I don't know I feel like I got gang banged by the [ __ ] planet like there's not one person in the world that's not capable of seeing these intimate photos of me you can just be at a barbecue when someone can pull them up on their phone ironically I'm I'm pretty sure I was actually at a barbecue the first time I saw those photos Jennifer's publicist also said that they would pursue legal action to anybody who posted these photos telling ABC News the authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence man just think it all started with some putts trying to make a little Bitcoin off a few photos and it snowballed into the biggest Story of the Year Not only was my grandma talking about it but so was just about every media Outlet on the planet A-list stars are the target of what appears to be one of the biggest celebrity hacking leaks dozens of private nude photographs were apparently accessed from phones and leaked online x-rated intimate celebrity photos hacked posted online the internet was a buzz on Sunday after a large number of photos of nude celebrity surfaced online there was a massive leak of private celebrity nude pictures over the weekend do we even know who is this 4chan he may and I'm sure we're gonna we're gonna be able to get some more confirmation on this as the as the hours and and minutes go on uh he may have been just a system administrator who knew his way around and how to hack things look at the goddamn hell you target the media shitstorm only increased the popularity of the fappening subreddit they're basically advertising to Boomers that hey if you want to see your favorite celebrity naked there's this thing called reddit.com where you can do just that so naturally Reddit was under a ton of scrutiny they were stuck between a rock and a horde Plage on one hand if they took the subreddit down they would take a hit to the reputation of being pro-free speech on the other hand if they left it up it would be getting criticized for perpetuating the invasion of privacy which would possibly affect their bottom line there were plenty of calls to shut the subreddit down but the administrators held their ground until they didn't after just four days Reddit finally gave in and decided to shut down or slash the fappening which led to a huge outcry from reddit's user base who saw the move as bowing to corporate interest and [ __ ] on freedom of speech not to mention the hypocrisy of taking down the fappening while at the same time allowing stuff like r slash pics of dead kids and or slash beating women one Reddit users summed it up pretty well so the fappening is banned because we need to protect America's Sweethearts but we still have candid Fashion Police but the reality of the situation was Reddit just didn't want the legal smoke they were already being scrutinized by the media and now a bunch of Big Shot Hollywood lawyers were threatening to sue them into the ground if they didn't take the pictures down and the legal dubiousness of the whole situation only got worse when it was revealed that some of the photos might have been taken while the victims were underage with all this in mind shutting it down was probably the best course of action one of reddit's Administrators expanded more on their reasoning in this announcement post the situation we had in our hands was the following these subreddits were of course the focal point for the sharing of the stone photos the images which were dmc-8 were continually being reposted constantly on the subreddit we would take down images in response to those dmcas but it quickly devolved into a game of whack-a-mole we'd execute a takedown somebody would adjust re-upload and then repeat the same practice was occurring with the underage photos requiring our constant intervention the mods were doing their best to keep things under control and in line with the site rules but problems were still constantly overflowing back to us additionally many nefarious parties recognize the popularity of these images and started spamming them in various ways and attempting to infect or scam users viewing them it became obvious that we were either going to have to watch these subreddits constantly or Apple shut them down we chose the ladder while that was happening Apple was also in the middle of their own PR disaster when it was discovered that the hackers were using iCloud to access these photos a lot of people were blaming Apple for the leaks including Kirsten Dunst who simply tweeted thanks apple apple would later put out a statement about this after more than 40 hours of Investigation we have discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on usernames passwords and security questions none of the cases we've investigated has resulted from a breach in any of Apple's systems including iCloud or find my iPhone The FBI Gets Involved meanwhile the FBI launched its own investigation to try and catch the Schmucks Behind These leaks and it didn't take long for the bureau to track down the IP of one of the people involved about a month after the initial 4chan leak the feds raided the home of Emilio Herrera and Steve's computer's cell phone and zoom what the [ __ ] has a Zone after shifting through thousands of hentai videos the feds finally hit the jackpot turns out Emilio had been a busy boy he had infiltrated over 500 iCloud accounts but Herrera was just the first Domino to fall there was a total of six people arrested and charged with illegally accessing private information and I know you guys are probably picturing a bunch of sweaty obese degenerates huddled in the darkness of their mom's basement spending every waking moment trying to get access to that sweet sweet punani but these were just regular Joe schmoes with kids and day jobs one of the hackers was even a school teacher which is kind of [ __ ] up so how did they pull this off surely this must have taken some big brain high IQ bullshittery of the highest magnitude to pull off well as it turns out is actually pretty easy they use the oldest trick in the book The Classic fishing they would send an email to the Target pretending to be apple and the victim would enter their information the hacker would then use that information to access their iCloud storage and rip all the pictures from that still leaves one person unaccounted for what happened to Gerald the guy who started this whole [ __ ] show nobody really knows after the initial photo dump he was never heard from again I guess he realized this whole thing was bringing a ton of heat on to him so he decided it was best to just cut and run smart guy despite an international Manhunt that FBI was unable to track this guy down to this day it's unknown what his true identity is but after going down the rabbit hole and doing hundreds of hours of investigative research I think I have a good idea of who it might be it's
