so this is Lincoln Park a live stream they did 21 hours ago uh from zero and I don't know what we're about to watch but let's check it out 18 minute Mark dragonfly says we're going to need that filter the band before or is it a new member I don't know anything about Lincoln Park so fill me in if you can okay he was in the band before Mike around like a revolver oohed how we lose cuz there's a fire wanted me to be don't know why what I for the okay so this is their new singer Emily Armstrong from dead Sarah holy crap dude she has such a cool rasp oh that chorus just grabs you by the ears and forces you to listen so she's the officially the new singer is that it um dang they really that was good framing for her to come in because they had Mike sing the first part which he's got a pretty okay voice very basic but then her she came in and just blows you away by comparison you know dang so this was this was the surprise like I only want the this I only want to be part of 13 I only wanted to be part of part of I only wanted to be part of something I only wanted to be let you call me open just to watch me play he gave up who I am for who you wanted me to be don't know why you so [ __ ] I am falling for the promises emptiness yess I only want to be part of Y dude yeah her voice does remind me of Dany from the warning like except she's also blending these screams into her vocals like fry screaming blend Ed with voice it's so good so satisfying and such a fitting replacement like a total surprise because you would expect another guy to be the singer but dang it's a cool fresh um sound for them ladies and gentlemen that is Emily Armstrong Make some noise [Music] right dang oh Simo cool we were predicting a female singer to make a clean break it is it's like a fresh chapter for Lincoln Park now instead of trying to relive the [Music] [Applause] past and who could be mad because she's so dang good [Music] [Applause] when this I had nothing to say and I get lost in the nothingness inside of B I was confused and I head it all out to find it I'm not the only person with these things in my inside me but all the VAC cany the words revealed it's the only real thing they I got left to feel nothing to lose just shut Hollow and alone and the fault is my own and the fault is my own want to heal I want to feel what I thought was never real I want to let go of the pain I felt so long pain Till It's Gone I want to heal I want to feel like I'm close to something real I want to find something I want it all [Music] alone and I've got nothing to say I can't believe I didn't fall right down on my face look everywhere okay so they did older tracks during the show too they had to change the key in some of them that I suppose Lincoln Park doesn't have a lot of like riffs or stuff like that that are really hard to transpose um it's mostly chords and soundscapes and stuff I think I don't know uh but transposing is hard when you've got a riff I've been learning when I've been trying to prepare some of my older music and relearn how to play it again that the original keys are a lot harder to sing than they used to be and I want to transpose some of them uh but the riffs are so dependent on you know open strings and stuff that transposing it would mean completely retuning the guitar and everything so it's kind of a pain for musicians to have to transpose but I mean it's worth it if the singer can sound good the way want is looking at me nothing to lose nothing to shame holl alone theault is my own and theault is my own I want to heal I want to feel what I thought was never for real I want to let go of the pain I F so long R all the pain Till It's Gone I want to heal I want to feel like I'm close something real I want to find something I all somewhere I below and I will never know myself till I do this on my own will never feel else until my WS are he so this was the first song of the concert I was curious like if they waited until this point to introduce her and yeah this is the first song they played and they introduced her in the second verse so that's pretty cool uh building that anticipation making you think maybe Mike was going to be the new singer and being like well his voice is is fine and then she comes in and just blows you [Music] away till I break away from me I will break away I fight myself [Applause] today want he I want to feel what I got real I want to let go all the pain I so long strong I want to heal I want to feel but something real I want to find something I want so where I be so where I it's funny I'm not are just not used to such repetitive music anymore you know when you hear the same chorus three or four times um it's just so different from what I'm accustomed to now and I really notice it after being used to listening to Japanese needs [Music] music where I oh cool man I'm super happy for them that they found something that's going to work that's going to give them a fresh start it's interesting simos said uh he had had both Nick nocturno live stream open watching this and the actual Lincoln Park stream and it was a lot better received in Nick nocturnal chat than in the actual OG live stream and dude that's the way it is when you're so huge when you've got Mass Appeal like this there's always going to be those whiny idiots in your chat that have a problem with the most like the best decision they could have possibly made you know it's so like such an innocent decision they didn't have a choice their singer died um and yet people will still find a reason to complain about it but I guess that's just the way it goes I'm super happy for them though that they they're turning this new page they're able to keep going following their passion as a band and start fresh pretty
