well you just keep continuing to make plays uh in the conference what what's this kind of run that you've been on like and and how do you keep it going uh just uh just playing good ball it's just with Preston and the o line they've been playing really good [Music] so they've been playing really good so just as a team it helps us and the defense they set us up with good uh field position so yeah helps a lot the big touchdown long touchdown reception uh uh there was some talk about showing off some speed there how much was it saying hey I need to put on muscle and weight but I don't want to lose that aspect of my game oh yeah that ever since a kid that's that's what I've been known for just my speed and uh I was kind of a skinnier kid and coming into college I was a little light too but then uh at this offseason I put on a lot of weight but I knew I wanted to keep the speed too so it just kind of a balance trying to balance that out what was it like seeing Adam get his OPP opportunities and make you know the most of some of them yeah it's good for him cuz he's a young kid and uh it's just uh you want to you want to slowly get him in there which we kind of did through Temple and we got him a few snaps but then whenever you finally start actually getting catches and making plays it helps you out I know we talked a lot this offseason about what you did to your body to to be a more consistent person on the field through eight games are you really I mean has that just been a massive noticeable difference for you yeah it uh whenever you gain the weight put on the pounds it helps you block those D ends uh uh helps you take hits from those safeties and you like I feel better going in uh to where we week nine than I did last year cuz last year I felt beat up a little bit but now I'm I still feel pretty well what have you seen from from Rice on tape uh that you've been able to gather uh we've seen some good stuff they have a good offense and so um their defense uh they're all right but they play good they play good team ball and they they're four and four but uh I feel like they're better they're better than their what their record says coach talked about uh coach Woods talked about you know you not shying away from the physicality being the first in line for some drills during practice and stuff like that how much do you kind of take ownership of of that oh yeah I just want to show my team that I'm willing to be physical put in the work so yeah I just I just want to be a leader on this team then there have been a lot of good tight ends to come through here couple of them in the league now what does it mean to to have your name up uh up with a bunch of them now I'm grateful cuz that that's the end goal is to go to the NFL that's what we all want to do uh when we're older so to be able to have a shot to go to the league would be be the world for me
