[Music] two ah 3y [Music] [Applause] welcome to the sista's worldwide match recap show Sevilla traveled to the Mayan Islands to face off against Real mayorca in front of 20,47 fans at the estad mayorca San Mo Los Pates came into the game with the same record of Sevilla with a draw and a loss and they would leave with the same record as well as both teams fail to score svia had some chances but mayor's new arrival Leo Ron showed up in the first action of the club and won the man of the match the former real soate dead goalkeeper stopped seven of sevilla's shots Sevilla held most of the possession at 55% had nine Corners to try and find the back of the net but once again they struggle to score on clear-cut chances nean showed up big for Sevilla stopping two clearcut chances by mayor on his way to his first first clean sheet of the Season Garcia Penta made five changes to the starting lineup including Goodell in replace of Kiki sales driel so and sambi loango were in the midfield for wanl and AUM and auk and ianu made their first Sevilla starts in place of the injured AC compos and recovering ISAC the ref handed out sevilla's first red card of the Year sa ning in the latter stages of the match s has secured their second draw on the road of the season and has only won two points out of the possible nine to start this campaign here is Ryan Moore Eddie and Steve to discuss the match hey Chris Eddie Steve uh thanks for the chance to uh ring in for the uh after game reaction um gotta be honest uh disappointed really thought that we finally were uh that today was going to be the day for the three points um really liked the lineup on the front end um thought that it was going to be an exciting moment but um unfortunately uh didn't end up being uh the day for for the three points uh but I will say as the eternal optimist uh that I do see signs that that this team could actually come together that we've got a little bit of um work to do um of just having a functional team coming together but as I mentioned in the Forum beforehand um the mes men Forum I had was really not expecting to see these guys play all that well together because it was just an entirely new group uh far you know I think it was four debuts four four four people debuting in the starting lineup I should say um and so it's just going to take time to figure out what really starts to gel uh with as many changes as we've seen uh other thing I'll I'll react to is is Saul's red card it you know the from what what I heard reported that he was uh turned away from the referee and said loud enough for the referee to hear it he said you're really bad it is malisimo uh I think that's you know a pretty pretty severe for red card but you know La Liga has been saying that they're going to get strictor and strictor so um what I what I uh heard from the Sevilla FC uh folks after the after the match on the live feed was you know all right well you know let's see if the La Liga brings the receipts let's see if they actually start enforcing that rule cuz you know no one wants to defend uh a player who's being rude to a referee uh but at the same time you know there's just way too many examples of uh especially the big team getting a buy and getting a pass on that kind of thing so um that's frustrating because also now we're going to have to really scramble uh on the next match puts us uh down a man uh next match in terms of just that uh Center Center um center of the field the Midfield and I I I really do worry about that like dragging where you know we have a rough time settling in next match don't get the momentum don't pick up the points uh right so that's those kind of little things that just drag on so um I'll leave youall there uh am I I continue to be optimistic that we've got a squad this year that there's just no reason we should be anywhere near relegation yes La Liga has gotten more competitive yes you see teams like chirona uh who who can now compete at really high levels and so we I don't think it's ever it's likely we're going to always be jumping back into third fourth place um on on a really consistent basis The Way We Were for a few years um but at the same time uh there's just no reason this team should should end up anywhere near relegation so I'm still uh endlessly optimistic and excited to see what the season brings V uh sevia nil this just struck me as a a game of two teams that were afraid to hurt each other uh um we kept the clean sheet though uh which is a positive I don't really have too many besides that um I liked isak's uh Cameo appearance well he had a good 30 minutes and I think it helped that he had a partner up there with him in w l um I'm still not sure if W L's if that's the role for him in terms of playing in Midfield um but we'll see he's still a young player and and I guess Pima likes them a lot so we'll see how that develops um bad gell is not the worst center back pairing um at least Nano knows how to play the ball forward uh but I just feel like uh loonga didn't really establish a rhythm maybe because it's it was his first game but still I felt like it he didn't really help us and and moving forward as as to be the focal point in in our buildup I feel like he really didn't give us a rhythm whether you play him or agum I feel like it's just having an extra player there to to slow us down and we're probably better off playing with two pivots like like we did uh when we introduced isak and wanl um I think the the Wingers didn't really I guess it was just difficult for them we kind of just settled for outside shots and we didn't really have an understanding with uh with kich up top uh perhaps he didn't come in uh come in often to you know uh play some quick on twos with players instead of just waiting for over the top Ball but uh it's a work in progress um uh I think the the verdict still out on whether our our defense could go on like this without getting another Center back because I feel like if we play xona we'll just get exposed as being a spineless team um I feel like on the subject of that I feel also the the referee was fin list and given that red card like come on you got to give a straight red for something mouthing off to you um I'm not sure what was said I don't think it was well if it was that disrespectful then fair enough but come on I I don't think it was anything that Kito said back in the day you know what I mean but uh whatever I've got have to wait for another Appeal on on a solid red card Jesus um but they don't like seevilla so I I doubt that um so having said all that I I feel like we should just drop the number six and probably play with two up top we have the players for it we have P that's that's hungry hungry for minutes uh perhaps he still has to earn those since he's coming from a second division team um so maybe it's it's a little bit of coaching there but um we have Fano we had Lukaku who could play centrally um I think we should revisit that uh that two up top because we all know isak loves playing with the with a partner up there so we'll see what happens against Jona on the weekend well we picked up uh a point on the road today but there's not a whole lot to get excited about and I can't help but feel like um the wind is coming out the sales of our season pretty quickly here after only getting two points out of the first three games um yeah not a not a whole lot to be excited about it's also pretty hard to recognize this club we've made so many changes over the last couple of years that um there's just a lot of new faces that are we need some time to get used to and I feel like they need some time to settle in here at their new home um a lot of those faces did have a chance today uh there were quite a few new signings in the starting 11 but um it you still get the sense that we just need some time to find our stride and see how these players play together and and let them gain some familiarity the uh the problem there is that well we're trying to figure that out the of the league is kind of leaving us behind we're like I said we're at match day three right now we're going into match day four and we're sitting at two points um yeah not a whole lot more to say there uh other than on to Sunday we got a tough matchup probably the hardest matchup we've got all uh so far this year not all year but so far this year coming up on Sunday afternoon um we're definitely going to have to bring some energy to the Sanchez pan otherwise I think the fans are going to be out in force and and we're going to hear some whistles and some jeers um they've been very quick to let the club know exactly how they're feeling in recent years and have a feeling that that's going to be
