Whiplash Review - Is This Movie ACTUALLY Good?

hello there everyone it's p simple and today we'll be talking about Whiplash the movie with gay instruments so in this movie you got this kid called Andre nean and JK Simmons JK Simmons is the guy that people want to get pushed by and Andrew nean is a drummer everything is a drum to this guy Andrew was playing on a drum set that he wasn't allowed to play on and JK walked in you like yo do you know how much that [ __ ] car he said yeah then why you playing on it and then he held up his sticks I didn't tell you to stop playing Andrew got back to playing at some point stopped he's like I didn't tell you to play either your choice of an answer was just that to stop playing again [ __ ] answer my questions so that's the tone of the movie for the most part for the most part Andrew is trying to get into that class because the cool kids in that class as some point he gets the opportunity to go to that class he gets there and so this scene is is going to be what makes it a break it for you because this scene exemplifies the best part of this movie for most people Andrew is about to play for the first time in front of JK Simmons with his instruction with his Tempo that's going to be an important word by the way they give him the sheet you see this I want you to play the 69th note we're not going to startop from the beginning NOP m- you know how to read right yep play that crazy so let's have something a little bit more vanilla so Andrew likes this girl who works at a cinema so he grew the balls to ask her out oh my God I'm so sorry since she read the script she knows what's about to happen so she goes along with it back to classes JK gives the class a new script that everyone must practice Andrew couldn't keep up so they brought in the replacement the look on his face was priceless the audacity the absolute liver of this man the car Cassidy he made the drummers compete for their spot pushing them to bleed from their hands this disgusting it's time for the second date andry is feeling the pressure and he starts giving this girl dozens of explanations on why they should break up because she will be delaying his progress excuse you slowing your progress when we barely even hang out verbatim she said that so they broke up how shocking um he started preparing for the upcoming competition because practice makes perfect and manners maketh man back to the main story the competition takes place two cities away so he needs to catch a bus and get a rental car and keep all of his belongings on him at all times that is very important because he doesn't do that at all he [ __ ] around and left his drumsticks because he was rushing out from the rental car service he left him at the reception thingy so now he's speeding because he's 20 minutes away from making it to the venue before stage time he gets calls asking him where the [ __ ] he's at he starts sing back and [ __ ] oh Andrew is feeling a little little fancy he runs up the stairs he's all disheveled where are you sticks ah I forgot them in my car liar next guy get ready to get on stage Andrew took that [ __ ] personally uh I hope my [ __ ] would the [ __ ] did you just say to me let me go get my sticks then hold you doing all this stuff man JK come on now JK JK JK I F to get this place I blood to get this place I work for this blot blood sweat and come [ __ ] I'm an idiot JK says you better have those sticks or I'm having your ass me personally I I would not would Andrew Runs Out jumps in the car does a burnout and be luns back to the dealership he gets a call saying he's not making stage time he keeps quiet where the [ __ ] are you man are you driving just tell JK I'm going to be there and I'm the only one that plays he gets back takes his sticks gets back in the car breaks his speed limit and gets hit by a truck there's a lot that happened right there speed kills but JK Simmons having your ass within is some serious motivation he ran the rest of the way back oh my days he gets on the stage all blooded up sits on the chair what the [ __ ] are you doing gives JK a thumbs up and he looks down at those drumsticks to save his life he tries playing he [ __ ] sucks everyone would suck if they just got back from a [ __ ] accident and I just told you stop playing you'd be [ __ ] too so you know don't make me say it JK tells Andrew to get off the [ __ ] stage Andrew does the face again the audacity the absolute liver get backstage before I eat your ass so he runs up and tackles JK starts screaming [ __ ] you and whatnot some time passes and a lawyer lady tells Andrew that one of JK's students killed himself because of the abuse and anxiety he gave him and she wants him to testify anonymously for JK to get retrenched and to never do this to anyone else he FS like a lawn chair pettiness is a powerful thing Andrew tries hitting up old girl from before hey can we hang out and stuff he gets a she's busy message back well that's [ __ ] so he goes out to touch some grass and he sees a sign that says JK is playing at a jazz club he goes inside to see and I think we all know what's about to happen but whatever JK actually knows how to play a piano Andrew is like wow he's not just a dick but he's a penis too JK sees him they have a little chat and he keeps bringing up some drummer who got hit over the head before he became the best out of his crap uh JK says he needs a drummer JK says he's the only one that he can trust this dumbass accepts it that they go to the event Andrew is all happy Andrew's dad is in the audience because he knows what happened from last time JK checks in on Andrew and asks him do you think I'm dumb I know you're the one that [ __ ] snitched now Andrew smile turns into a frown something bad going to have like I can feel it I can feel it JK plays a song that's not on Andrew's sheet Andrew breaks down runs off stage dead pulls out a gun lets off five shots I'm kidding I'm kidding he helps his son not be a little [ __ ] gets back on stage command respect he gets back on stage does a drum solo leading to songs that are on the sheet JK plays and that's Whiplash holy [ __ ] [ __ ] we're done make sure to
