our week he's been kind to us he showed his love towards us he provided for us and he blessed us with safety we are just grateful unto the Lord so we're going to go ahead and move forward into our service for today at this time we're going to have our opening prayer and uh my wife is g to come at this time and lead us in prayer so let's receive evangelist Mary Foster amen let us all stand we welcome you into this place Lord Lord we are open right now to receive from you welcome welcome welcome Lord to this place thank you oh Lord that you've allowed us to together that you've allowed us Lord to assemble that you've allowed us Lord to come together father God to worship you one more time and Lord we just honor you Lord we give you the praise we honor you for this is the day that you've given us Lord thank you oh God for this day uh thank you oh God for the beauty in this day thank you oh God for this day that you've given us for this is the day you've made Lord we're going to rejoice and be glad in it Lord oh we just magnify you this day Lord Lord we give you the praise because you are worthy oh Lord you are worthy of the glory oh Lord you are worthy of the honor oh Lord you are worthy of the praise Lord and we just Worship You Lord we worship you Lord the one and true Living God the one who reigns forever and ever Alpha and Omega We Worship You Lord thank you oh God for the privilege Lord God to worship you thank you oh God that you've given us to come into your courts Lord God and oh God we just enter into your gates with Thanksgiving in our hearts Lord our hearts we are just filled with gratitude oh god oh we're filled with Thanksgiving Lord God and we thank you oh God oh God we thank you oh God for all your Rich blessings to us Lord God because you're a good God Lord You're a kind and awesome God and we thank you oh god oh thank you Lord thank you for every blessing Lord God every good and perfect gift comes from you oh God and we thank you for it Lord God uh oh thank you oh God uh oh we just magnify you this day oh God we give you the glory because you're worthy of it oh God uh oh just come in this place Lord God uh fill our hearts Lord God with your joy uh fill our hearts Lord God with your peace uh for your peace Lord God it surpasses all understanding uh and oh God we're in need of your peace Lord God in a world where there's much turmoil and and a lot of chaos Lord God your peace your peace is what we need and oh God we just receive Lord God your peace Lord God your overwhelming Supernatural peace Lord God that Comforts our hearts Lord God that fills us Lord God with great joy uh oh thank you oh God uh oh thank you oh God for this service today oh God uh oh we welcome you here today uh welcome Holy Spirit uh we are in your presence uh fill us with your power fill us with your love fill us with your joy uh oh yes Lord uh we're open and ready to receive from you oh God uh oh bless every aspect of this service Lord God uh let it all be unto your glory oh God uh oh God anoint Pastor Ben Lord God as he ministers a word to us Lord God a word from Heaven Lord God anoint him Lord God to minister in great power and authority oh God anoint him Lord God To Boldly proclaim the message of Truth uh and oh God give us Grace Grace and strength Divine enablement oh God that we'll take your word and apply it to our lives daily oh God that we might live Lord God to bring you glory and honor that we might be great Witnesses of your glory in this present world uh in the mighty name of Jesus we thank you right now for all things oh in Jesus name amen Pastor Ben uh Eden will come at this time and read the scripture so today we are going to be looking at the GOP according to John Christ comes to the World chapter 1 and it reads before the world began there was the word the word was with God and the Word was God he was with God in the beginning all things were made through him nothing was made without him in him there was life that life was light for the people of the world Amen we thank God for the reading and the hearing of his word thank God for the word as we go into the word of the Lord we're going to look at Galatians chapter 5 today and we're going to start at verse number 16 Galatians chapter 5 and verse 16 praise God uh and what we want to talk about today is the topic of walking in the spirit walking in the spirit we want to learn about this and give you some insight and understanding as to what it really means and uh why it's so important for us as Believers as people that know the Lord to walk in the spirit and so Galatians 5:16 says this I say then walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh for the flesh lusteth against the spirit and the spirit against the Flesh and these are contrary the one to the other so that you cannot do the things that ye would man may God add a blessing to the reading and the hearing of his word and so this passage of scripture is dealing with walking in the spirit walking in the spirit in other words walking not according to your own desires and passions but walking according to the desires and the passions of the Holy Spirit letting the Holy Spirit uh guide your actions rather than you yourself just governing your own life this is what Paul is dealing with In this passage and he says walk in the spirit one thing that you got to understand is this man is a spirit Okay so that's the first thing we've got to understand man mankind each and every one of us whether you're a man or a woman you are a spirit being you are a spirit being okay you're not just a physical uh body and that's it there's a lot more to you than that you're not just a physical body uh you're more than just a body okay you are a spirit being the essence of who you are as a as a human being is that you are a spirit that's first and foremost you are a spirit that's why we as human beings always in every culture if you look around the world you will notice that people from every culture are engaged in the pursuit of spirituality and trying to find out who God is around the world whether it's a primitive culture or a very highly technologically advanced culture doesn't matter you find the same thing man Longs for spirituality why does he long for spirituality and long for God he Longs because he is a spirit being we are Spirit beings uh and the Bible makes it very clear that we as human beings we are Triune in nature we have three parts to our overall nature we have a Triune nature we're made in the very image of God did you know that you're made in God's image and God's likeness God Made You such that uh he imprinted upon you uh some characteristics uh that are just like his characteristics he imprinted his characteristics some of his characteristics on you as a human being so we're made in the image of God and three distinct persons comprise one God three distinct persons comprise one God there's God the Father God the son and God the Holy Ghost and these three are one so we don't serve three Gods there's one God but he's eternally existent in three persons it's God the Father God the son and God the holy ghost or the Holy Spirit okay three uh components of God's overall being that comprise god well we because we are made in the image of God there's three parts to you as a human being did you know that there's three parts to you to each and every one of us there are three parts to who we are as human beings and the three parts of us as human beings are Spirit soul and Body Spirit soul and body okay and so uh what you've got to realize is this you are first and foremost as a human being a spirit that's the essence of who you are that's the core of who you are and that's the part of you that is eternal okay first and foremost you are a spirit okay how do I know that first and foremost you are a spirit because you're made in the image of God and the Bible says God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth God is a spirit so man because we're made in God's image first and foremost is a spirit just like God is a spirit okay we are Spirit beings we have a soul and we live in a physical body okay we're living inside of a physical body okay and you can know as a human being that you are not just a physical body you can know and realize that and the way that you uh know that you're not just a physical body is by virtue of the fact that uh your brain uh has to be told what to think okay you have a brain but your brain has to be told what to think if you were just a physical body your brain would just do everything right it wouldn't have to be told what to think and what to do and what to compute but you have to tell your brain what to focus upon what to think about what to not think about okay what to compute and what to not compute what to read what to focus on you have to tell your brain what to do and that's evidence that you're not just a physical body uh you're Spirit uh that's what you are you are a spirit being you have a soul and you live in a body okay we are Triune just like God okay God is in essence the fellowship between the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost that's a good way to view God God is a fellowship between Father Son and Holy Ghost these three have been eternally existent okay they don't have a beginning Jesus did not have a beginning okay he always was in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and then it goes on to say and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us okay how is the word made flesh that's Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is the Eternal Word of God okay uh and so God in eternity past God who has no beginning God who always existed okay God who is the source of all life and all things that exist uh he always was and he was in communion Fellowship okay with f there was a fellowship going on between Father Son and Holy Ghost okay so God is a fellowship is what he is okay between those three well you as a human being you don't you whether you realize it or not you also are a fellowship between three parts okay you are a fellowship between Spirit soul and body okay that's what we are as human beings we are a fellowship between Spirit soul and body and so you can go to a coffee shop by yourself sit down and order a cup of coffee relax uh drink that coffee and read the newspaper and you can have uh you you can be have a sense of companionship all by yourself okay why because your mind can communic unicate with your soul your soul can communicate with your spirit your body uh can communicate with the other two okay there's communion that takes place even when you're all by yourself okay you can have a good time I had a good time today uh taking a jog through the forest today I was out in a little Forest just doing a light jog uh uh running through the forest and I was having a good time all by myself okay why because we are a communion between Spirit soul and body that's how God made you and so uniquely formed you he made you in His image if your physical body were to die your spirit and your soul would live on your spirit and your soul being joined together would go to meet with God okay that's what you've got to realize you're not just a body now in this passage of scripture it uses the term the flesh it says the flesh so we need to Define what is what is it talking about when it says the flesh okay it says let's go back to it it says walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh okay so we we need to get an understanding of what the flesh is and what it's all about well the flesh is the sin nature according to the scripture okay it's the sin nature it's the part that we inherited through Adam's fall we inherited this sin nature through Adam's sin and what he did is something that all of us as human beings have to deal with we all have to deal with the reality of a sin nature we all have to deal with the reality of the fact that there's a part of us that rejects God okay there's a part of us that wants to get as far away from God as possible that's the flesh okay that's the flesh that's the sin nature that's the part of us that wants to run and hide from God and doesn't want to do his will okay the flesh uh and uh it's in our very nature we've got to understand this part of us and we've got to get to the place where that we rule and dominate over the flesh rather than letting the flesh just rule us and push us and drive us okay that's what God wants from us he wants us to grow to the place where that we rule over the flesh we got to grow uh as Believers grow as people that have faith in Jesus Christ Christ if you grow in Christ and your faith grows and your spiritual strength grows your spiritual might and ability grows in God then what happens is that you get to the place where that you begin to subdue master and control the flesh you get to that place you you you grow to a place in God where that you just learn how to master the Flesh and you learn how to keep the flesh from dominating you and ruling over you you see because if your flesh dominates you and rules over you then your flesh will cause you to just be a sinful Wicked person you cause you to do things that you never thought you would do if you follow it okay so by the grace of God we must uh control and master uh the flesh uh what else do we need to know about the flesh well the flesh is attracted and it's pulled towards the things of this present World your flesh is attracted and it's pulled towards the things of this present World your flesh is a part of you that likes sitting back and just relaxing and enjoying itself and not having a care in the world and not thinking about God and what what God wants for your life in the least bit okay your flesh is like that your flesh likes Comfort okay nothing wrong with Comfort sometimes but the flesh will have you have comfort all the time the flesh if you follow it would cause you to never want to do an ounce of work never want to do anything that is beneficial that's going to benefits you in the long run uh you just sit back and relax and sit in Comfort all the time if you follow the flesh uh the flesh likes things that are stimulating to the physical senses the physical senses things that are stimulating and give pleasure and Sensations to your physical body that's what your flesh is for focused on things that give pleasure to the body the flesh loves those kinds of things uh you know uh people run after for example cigarettes cigars marijuana okay these are things that give pleasure to the flesh okay they stimulate you in various ways they give your uh your physical body a sense of pleasure and they get they cause certain Sensations to be aroused in your physical body certain Sensations get aroused when you partake of those things okay but this is not something that God wants for us as human beings God God doesn't wants you under the power in the control of substances where that substances have you addicted no that's not the plan and the vision of God God wants you as a human being to be a person that walks in the spirit Hallelujah he doesn't want you to be driven by the Flesh and its lust and its passions at all but he wants you to be driven by his Holy Spirit and so uh the flesh desires Comfort uh it desires pleasure and sensations of the physical body okay pleasurable sensation okay uh you know when you think about our world our world is uh very much so driven by uh sex okay let's just be uh very clear about it our world is very much driven by that people chase after it and they act like it's God or something they act as though sex is more important uh than Heaven they act they act as though sex is more important uh than their walk with God and and knowing god in any way they make it so important and so valuable in their lives many people fall into this error why did they do that because it's a passion of the flesh it's a passion of the flesh God's way according to God's word is one man and one woman married okay one man and one woman married they enjoy uh sexual pleasure that's God's way but the world's way is if it gives you pleasure do it if it makes you feel good do it that's the world's way and so we we've got to by the grace of God we've got to follow God's spirit over the flesh uh so the flesh is attracted and pulled towards the world but your Born Again human spirit is always pulled towards heaven and God you're born again Spirit if you're born again and you know the Lord your human spirit is attracted to the things of of Heaven your human spirit that is Born Again is pulled towards God and wants to know God and wants to seek God and wants to have fellowship with God your your spirit man desires that your spirit man Longs for that it Longs for the fellowship and the joy that comes from being with God so that's the difference between the Flesh and the spirit okay your fleshly nature is running from God but your spirit man if it's born again your spirit man is running towards God your spirit man wants to know God okay your spirit man is that component of you that God has caused to be born again that's the spirit man God has Cause part of you a component of you to be born again your body's not born again you look at your body it don't look any different when you are born again right look at this your body is not born of who you are that's the part of you that God changes okay you're born again all right so the call of God is that we as Believers should live from our Spirit okay live from your spirit what does that mean that means you got to let your Born Again human Spirit be dominant let your Born Again human Spirit uh have the rule let your Born Again human Spirit be the part of you that makes the decisions that's what God wants from us in our lives he wants the Born Again Spirit to have the preeminence we cannot follow the flesh so Paul says In this passage of scripture he says walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh you won't fulfill the lust of the Flesh in other words if you don't walk in the spirit you will fulfill the lust of the flesh the lust of the flesh are basically passions desires Cravings things that your fleshly sent ful nature wants and these are the type of things that are always against God okay now look at what he says about what the flesh will cause you to do verse 19 this is the works of the flesh he says now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these adultery fornication uncleanness lasciviousness Idol olry witchcraft hatred variance emulations wrath Strife seditions heresies envyings murders drunkenness rings and such like okay so these are things that your flesh will cause you to do these are the Deeds of the flesh The Works of the flesh just speaks of what the Deeds of the flesh this is what the flesh will motivate you to do okay the flesh will never motivate you to serve God and do his will if you're gonna serve God and do his will you have to in essence crucify the flesh okay you got to control it subdue it and overcome it okay because that part of you does not want to do God's will all right all of these evil things that Paul listed in this p mage of scripture these are all things that Rise Up from that fleshly nature okay uh in every generation you see people falling into adultery in every generation you see people falling into fornication all of these things that he lists it happens in every generation okay why because the fleshly nature drives it and without God's grace and without without his power all of us would follow uh those Tendencies that's exactly what we would do without the power Grace uh and spirit of God so uh the very highest expression of human fulfillment is experienced when you walk in the spirit you're looking for fulfillment in this world the very highest expression of fulfillment that you could ever have is experienced when you just simply walk in the spirit okay that is you follow the Holy Spirit follow God if you walk in the spirit follow the Holy Spirit follow his guidance follow his leading you're going to have the highest level uh of fulfillment that you could possibly have it's the highest expression of fulfillment and it's one of those hidden things that many people never uh learn and never understand it's one of those things that people uh don't think is possible because they look and they say you know what uh uh to be a Christian and to follow the lord and to follow the Bible that must be like being in prison or something because God gives you principles to live by and you can't just go out and do what they call uh just freely do what you want to do okay so they say well that's that sounds like something that would uh put you in Chains according to the human intellect according to the human reasoning okay yes it can feel that way according to the human reasoning but when you actually try it when you actually come to Jesus Christ and you actually make a decision to follow him in sincerity you find that you know what this is what I've been looking for my whole life this is what I've been longing for this is what I've wanted Jesus said he whom the son sets free is free indeed and he said you will know the truth and the truth shall make you free God's truth is his word when you follow God's word it sets you free that's what it does it sets you free it doesn't put you in chains doesn't give you a miserable life no it doesn't it gives you a joyous fulfilled life it gives you the very highest expression of fulfillment that you can experience in this world okay when you simply just obey God walk in the spirit do things his way gives you the highest expression of fulfillment and what happens is that we become like beasts like wild animals when we just follow our flesh but we become joyous wonderful people of light people that walk in light people that are full of light people that have God's life within them when we walk in the spirit that's what we become you get fulfillment you get joy that's true Freedom okay that's true Freedom you want to know what true freedom is it's when you just obey God he whom the son sets free is free indeed you'll know the truth and the truth will make you free God's word sets you free to be what God wants you to be that's what God's word does it sets you free if you follow it and you pray and you seek God for his grace and his guidance sets you free to be what God has called you to be it sets you free to do what God has called you to do you know when you're unsaved and you don't know the Lord one thing that you deal with is that you want to do right you know at least there's a desire there's part of you that wants to do right but you find that you just can't do it you don't have the power to do it you don't have the strength to do it you don't have the might to do it you say what is the problem why can't I do it you must be born again you must be born again Jesus made it very clear that except a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God you've got to be born again that experience is what causes you to be made new into a new creation and it causes a change to place on the inside of you an empowerment begins in your life as you walk in this new life that is in Jesus Christ there's an empowerment that begins and it's an empowerment for you to walk in the spirit okay you cannot walk in the spirit uh if you've not been born again you you can't do it you'll never achieve it you you can't walk in the spirit on your own I walk walking in the spirit means you're following God's word it means you're listening to the Holy Spirit and you're following his guidance for your life and you're not following the Flesh and its desires you can't possibly do that on your own it's just not something you can achieve it's too much it's just not something you can achieve you need the grace and the power of God so God empowers you is what he does he gives you the might and the ability to live a life that is consistent with God's word and to walk in the truth and to have genuine freedom because you're walking in the truth so we don't want to be like wild animals following the flesh but we want to be like those that have genuine fulfillment as children of the light okay children of God full of the life and the light of Heaven the very passions of your spirit nature uh have got to take the place of preeminence the passions of your spirit nature that part of you that loves God and Longs for God the passions of your spirit have got to take the place of preeminence they have to be dominant you don't want to just follow uh the flesh your spirit Nature has to take the place of preeminence living in the spirit means that you should desire God's word even more than your physical food that you eat more than your necessary bread you should desire God's word you know one principle that I live by is that on a daily basis I try to make sure that I look into God's word before I eat look into the word of God before I eat why because I'm trying to teach myself through uh effort okay through exercise I'm teaching myself the value uh of spiritual things okay things that are of the spirit I'm teaching myself that it's more important that you have God's word than it is that you have physical food okay it's more important why because God's word can give you eternal life but physical food can only sustain you in this life okay physical food can only keep you here in in this world it'll sustain you and keep your body with the nourishment that it needs the physical food would do that for you but spiritual food that is God's word it feeds your spirit man it feeds you on the inside it feeds that part of you that no one else can see it feeds the spirit and your spirit is able to get the nourishment the strength that it needs and your spirit man can function and continue in this walk of Faith you know that's that's crucial for us as Believers it's crucial that we have the nourishment of God's word daily that we value it uh greatly meditate in God's word daily read it study it let God feed you and cause you to grow okay so uh you got to desire God's word even more than your natural food and that's that's really how you get Revelation from God's word that's really how you begin to really deeply understand his word you understand it deeply when you value it so much uh that you put it first when you put God's word first then you can start getting Revelation then you can start getting understanding then God can start speaking to you and showing you things about his word that you didn't see before because you you just value it you love it you Delight in it amen do you Delight in God's word do you take pleasure in God's word do you meditate therein day and night you got to learn how to delight and and just love the word of God you know we uh the fleshly nature if you let it dominate you you'll love the things of this world you'll love uh uh eating drinking and relaxing that'll be your life if you'll let your flesh dominate you and you know what's interesting I like to watch nature videos on TV uh and one thing about bears that's an animal that I'm not really a big fan of Bears I wouldn't want to see one of those in the wild but Bears one thing that's interesting about bears is that's all they really do they just basically go around all day eating Gathering food and laying around relaxing that's what bears do that's pretty much their life uh they have short lives maybe 15 years roughly and that's the that's what a bear's life is comprised of they just run around looking for food all day get food go over here get some more food they just loved eating okay and then after all of their eating they just sit around relax that's all they do that's their whole life but I don't know about you but I just believe that there's got to be more to life there's got to be more to the human existence then for us to just wander through this life looking for pleasure yes and relaxation there's got to be more there has to be a deeper meaning there's got to be more to it than that and God's word makes it very clear that there is more because we're in preparation for eternity with God and we're in preparation for eternity and that's what's ahead for us there's a heaven to gain but on the other side there's also a hell there's both okay uh there's a heaven but there's also a hell okay we've got to make sure that we don't miss out on the great Glory the great Splendid Beauty and the great joy that we're gonna have with God in heaven don't miss it for the world hallelujah hallelujah don't miss it for the world and so uh living in the spirit means that God's purposes are more important than our human pleasure that's what it means when you're really living in the spirit God's purpose become more important to you than your human pleasure you're you're more you're more focused on God's purposes your focus is what is God's plan for my life what is God's vision for my life what is God want me to achieve and how can I achieve it your focus is making sure that you fulfill your purpose and making sure that whatever it is that God has called you to do you get it done okay God's purpose has to be more important than our pleasure I believe that one of the things that causes us to miss out on the purposes of God is that we're too focused on our pleasure you can so easily fall into that trap if you're not careful you can fall into the Trap and the deception of just living life for your pleasure for me you'll never achieve anything great for God if you live only for you okay nothing wrong with you enjoying yourself doesn't mean that because that you're saved and you love the Lord because you're born again uh doesn't mean that you can't have enjoyment pleasure vacation things like that doesn't mean that you can't sit back and enjoy a nice television nice clean television show sometimes doesn't mean that doesn't mean that God is putting you in a uh in a box and saying you can't do anything you can't have no fun all you can do is just focus on what I want you to do no that's not that the Bible doesn't say that but what God is calling for from us as Believers is this he's calling for a proper balance Hallelujah he's calling for a proper balance you got to have a proper balance yes you should enjoy yourself sometime and do some things that are fun okay that's the nature of uh of you know of your life I believe that God wants you to enjoy your life and have some fun but you got to know when it's time to have fun and relax and know when it's time to focus on the lord it's not always time to focus on yourself it's not always time to focus on your own pleasure you got to focus sometimes on the things of Heaven yes and you got to turn aside sometime from carnal things and focus on spiritual things that's how you will please God that's how you get your work done here in this life God has a vision for you he has a plan for you but you got to cooperate you got to cooperate with Heaven cooperate with the calling of God cooperate with him don't fight against him if you follow the flesh you'll always fight against the plan of God you'll always be fighting against it but if you subdue the Flesh and control the flesh then by the grace of God you can do what God has willed for you to do you can get his plan accomplished all right so uh when you're favorite TV show becomes more important than your walk with God then you're out of balance you're out of balance when uh your friends and their opinion of you becomes more important than God's opinion opinion of you you're out of balance uh when your career uh is more important than God you're out of balance when you're grass you know I like to cut my lawn and try to get it nice and green and things like that but you know what I got to be careful because when my lawn if your lawn becomes too important to you it can take the place of God your home whatever it is okay whatever it is in your life if it's more important than your walk with God and you have made it into an idol you have idolized that thing youve made it too important okay we got to keep everything in its right place everything has to be viewed in the right way nothing can be more important in your life than your walk with the Lord Okay so we've got to fight against this tendency fight against this tendency to Value anything over God one of the biggest things that we as humans deal with is love for money that's one of the biggest things that we as humans deal with and that love for money can cause us to forsake putting God first that love for money can cause us to say you know what I'd rather have money we may not say it really with our mind but we're saying it with our actions my money is more important to me than my walk with God my money is more important to me than my prayer life this is what can happen if you're not careful okay you got to make sure that money does not become your idol okay there's a scripture where that it says no man can serve God and Mammon Mammon is the god of money is basically what it refers to okay the god of money you can't serve God and be highly devoted to God and at the same time you're serving the god of money you're bowing down to the altar of the god of money bowing down to your bank account bowing down uh to your stocks your mutual funds okay these are the type of things you got to really watch by the grace of God okay you got to make sure that you don't allow these things to become Idols money has to be kept in its right place money is good nothing wrong with you being absolutely rich did you know that Bible does not condemn you if you become rich okay nothing wrong with that okay um uh the Bible says charge them that are rich in this world indicating that some saints are rich charge charge them that are rich in this world that they be not highminded nor trust in uncertain riches but in the Living God okay so it it makes it very clear that you can be a saint of God you can love the Lord but you can be rich okay and if you are in that situation uh he just tells you what to do okay don't become High minded don't let it lift you up don't become High minded if you be become rich okay and it can happen God is just that generous he's just that kind he can cause you to be just wealthy you follow him and follow his word he can bring it to pass okay but don't overvalue money don't overvalue the things of this world put everything in its right place don't be a beast that's following the passions of the flesh but be a person uh that is following the passions of righteousness let righteousness govern your life let righteousness uh control your decisions let righteousness direct you and show you how to live let righteousness be your guide God wants righteousness that's what's pleasing to God is righteousness righteousness is doing things that please God that's where we want to be we want to be focused in that direction as we all stand hallelujah praise God we thank God for the word on today just wanted to give us a reminder about the value of living from your spirit or walking in the spirit just wanted to give you a reminder to today about that and the value of it let's push let's press less Focus that we can walk in the spirit that we can have the genuine Joy the greatest fulfillment the greatest fulfillment that you're ever GNA have in this world is when you walk in the spirit it's the greatest fulfillment it's the greatest joy there's nothing uh no lifestyle that you can live in this world that's better than just walking in the spirit just walk in the spirit you have a sense of joy you have a sense of Peace you'll have a sense of Freedom that you never imagined amen if you're here today and you need to make the first step which is you need to be born again we want to pray with you today uh anyone who is in our viewing audience you you know that you need to be born again you need to make that first step we want to pray with you today that you can come into relationship with Jesus Christ God wants to know you he wants to fellowship with you he wants you to know him as a very close friend you got to step up you got to do your part your part is that you must receive Jesus Christ Into Your Heart by Faith that's the first step receive Jesus the only Son of God the one that died for your sins Jesus Christ died for your sins he pays your penalty the Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God I'm a pastor and I've lived for the Lord for a good number of years but I've sinned okay we as human beings we've all sinned okay uh my mother she was a very kind woman one of the sweetest people you'd ever want to meet my father was a very kind man man of Holiness and righteous living but unfortunately they'd have to agree too that they sin okay uh I don't care who it is that you think about in this world we've all sinned we've come short of the glory of God we've all Fallen this is a Fallen World don't be deceived uh by the positives that are in this world and think that this is all that God envisions for us as human beings no God had a much greater plan than this he had a paradise for us to live in and to enjoy this is only a trace a small bit of the original Glory that God had for us so we've all Sinn we've come short of the glory of God the Bible says the wages of sin is death the wages of sin is death what what sin is going to pay you in the end it's death it'll separate you from God death speaks of Separation sin will separate you from a holy God God has made a way for you to be reconnected with him and it's through Jesus Christ you must be born again and the Bible says for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved you must call on the name of Jesus Christ so I want to pray a prayer today anyone in here physically here that wants prayer to receive stand right over there in the aisle and we'll pray with you anyone on the internet who is viewing us via the Internet pray this prayer with me mean it from the bottom of your heart say dear Lord Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and to save me I believe in your death burial and resurrection and that you atoned for the sins of man once and for all and I put my faith in you and I make a decision today to turn from sin and to to follow you the rest of my days in Jesus name amen amen if you pray that prayer today I believe that God has given you the blessing of Salvation you need to follow up you need to get into God's word
