FRANCE: girls trip to saint tropez, town of evian, hiking in french alps 🏔️

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] hi guys I am in San Trope right now I don't know if there's like a proper French way to pronounce that but it is my first time here I've never been here before I've never been to the south of France before I've only ever really been to Paris in France I think I took like a I don't even know if you can call it a break I took like 72 hours off of social media after Wimbledon finished to chill and relax and decompress a little bit it was just a very busy exhausting exhausting two week so fun but I needed to chill a little bit I needed to sleep I'm staying in this very cute little apartment that is basically right in sort of the city center I think it's called the port is like the area um in San Trope and I'm here with girlfriends from college I've had on my Vlog before I did a girls trip in Miami with them there my best best girlfriends from college we were all in the same sority together and they all live in New York City so I don't get to see them super often usually this time in the summer I get a place in New York and spend like 2 months in the city just having fun really this year we decided to switch it up and come to France literally just got in I landed like 2 hours ago so basically you have to fly into nice and then you take a car from nce to San Trope which is about 2 hours not sure what I was expecting out of like a French Beach town but it's very charming and we're in such a good area I don't get to do girls trips often and it finally kind of feels like a vacation like when I'm traveling for tennis stuff it does not feel like it it's just a very different vibe to like travel with your boyfriend for work versus being on a real girls trip I'm so glad you guys liked the Wimbledon Vlog that was a very fun Vlog for me to make and I just took a break after that cuz that was it was just a lot to handle that week um I also got a profile in British Vogue last week which was so insane if I could go back and tell my 15-year-old self that I would have an article in Vogue like I still don't think it's fully settled for me that was a really big moment for me so thank you guys for all the support throughout the last couple weeks um you know everything paid off also I was not expecting it to be so hot here like so the two blocks that I had to walk to get into this apartment with all my luggage and stuff I was literally dripping sweat is boiling here but we're going to go check it out Gabby thought on Central so far it's all of our first time here fabulous I haven't had coffee yet so my thoughts aren really running dropping and people watching here is so good everyone seems a little out of touch with reality like some of the conversation that we've overheard has been interesting really like kind of absurd just a few from the restaurant restaurant you can sit and watch all the the yachts and people coming in and off the Yachts cappuccino hand out [Music] chocolats hi guys this is a baguette sandwich with bre lettuce and tomato this is fuka [Music] re and hazelet iced coffee and finding iced coffee in Europe is always a [Music] blessing little dinner outfit we're going to I keep forgetting the name of it kinugawa Kagawa I think we have to Uber there but we're going to go down to the water and take some photos first we're staying in like the city center of centrope which is the port and it's very very quiet during the day but around dusk Sunset it get super busy and then at night it's just insane [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I have a $60 [Music] Margarita this it's like a 15-year process that all this water comes through I think they said yesterday that there's 7 million bottles of Evon that go out to the world every single day and Avan has a whole Resort here in the town and that's where we're staying we're staying at the hotel Royale I think at this Resort there's three different hotels there's golf there's tennis there's hiking there's horseback riding it's definitely a very different vibe than Sant Trope and it's a very sort of wholesome fun familyfriendly Resort and I wanted to come here with my friends just to have a very like relaxing couple of days in the mountains San Trope was really fun I wish I would have spent more time there I really was only there for like a day and a half I'm kind of just rushing through trying to see a lot of places because I haven't really been on vacation in a long time obviously I travel a lot but it doesn't feel like a vacation on our itinerary we are going to go hike in the French Alps which I'm a little nervous for I haven't gone hiking in a year only here for 2 days so going to make the most of it but the room that we're staying in is insane I think it's probably the most beautiful room that I've ever stayed at before and the resort is just stunning it just be nice to relax a little bit because I've been go go go for the last month basically going on a hike in French alpes it's so pretty up here the air smells so good we're taking a cable car up to the very top of the mountain that looks over the lake you a hiking girl yes now I am is there like a specific name for the mountain we're going [Music] to to do let's get some cable car karaoke yeah go cat go cat these are the little mountain ridges that you see on the Evan water label smells delicious it's like garlic and onion uh it's the same like it is this is Avan Geneva is just around the corner there that's luzern anybody the town over [Music] there I am not a hiker I'm not really a nature girl definitely not a hiker but it is really beautiful just this is at the peak this cross [Music] [Music] it was better for they attack the the flower and I will show you after the effect so they're eating the flower right now or biting it trying to get it away in fact they eject like um an acid it's called lacid formic okay and it's a very strong uh production in fact um it's um a kind of um weapon how long does it take them to build this hole and Mound a long time but you know they are very clever change the color and if you smell it you want to to do the experience cat you okay oh oh no no no no no you SM color lunch and we're hungry and we are starving after our hike yeah we really worked up an appeti you feel like feeble all we've had is E on water one piece of lettuce two days ago cat tried STI tartar for the first time she was beegan all throughout the whole time we were in college she was vegan she would just literally eat pretzels and hummus tartar was a no fa big fail that was a no for you but now she's trying octopus look the tentacle the suction cup ew no I need to make this so much smaller you like it no oh okay really mhm okay well we're proud of you for trying it we're so proud of you thanks this is my first time trying lemon cello review oh oh heart I was about to take it like a shot and then I saw you guys it thick is that like vodka or no it's just lemons fermented lemons in a been drinking here so far is s white wine which is a French wine it's at most nice restaurants in the US but otherwise it's kind of difficult to find because we're in France everywhere so [Music] I've literally never done in my life but apparently that's a thing that people do like my entire Vlog is just food right G got the lobster cat's favorite artist is Charlie XX in the song everybody on Tik Tok was freaking out about this line it's just selfdefense until you're building a and people on Tik Tok were like this line and I can't figure out what that means I guess when you're so defensive about something you turn mean I thought too but like is that too simpli it like for people to be freaking out about it so much listen to the other lines they're very simple if someone is attacking you then you defend yourself self-defense until you get more vicious than them and you're using it to attack them entirely you know like in a war if someone attacks you you're allow to go back selfdefense but the second you start attacking them even though they've done nothing to provoke you then it's just like vient I think I was overanalyzing a little bit because I saw so many people talking about
