Upper Arlington vs New Albany [Applause] foreign week three of the high school football playoffs and you know what all the games being played at neutral sites now good morning everyone I'm Dom tiberi and welcome to First and Ten and I'm Dave Holmes for the first time this season we did not have perfect weather but we had great games last night with everything on the line yeah the games are bigger than ever beginning with our game of the week being played at Westerville Central second C to go to bears for Arlington taking on the third seeded Eagles of New Albany first quarter and the Eagles get on the board first Christian Manville in for the score New Albany LED 7-0 and they keep it going in the second quarter Dylan Rosser in for the touchdown that made it 14-nothing Upper Arlington comes back Tommy janowitz goes to Rocco pratty for the touchdown but not enough New Albany wins it 20-7 how about the Perrysburg vs Liberty Cinderella story Brewing here olentangie Liberty went five and five in the regular season but they're a totally different team in the playoffs last night facing 11 and one Perrysburg Perrysburg on the move here about to score but Alex a Cooley there to toe tap in the end zone Patriots a huge interception we jump ahead to the fourth quarter Liberty up 7-3 fourth down though Andrew Leonard to Alex okouli it's Alex's night and no one can stop him touchdown Patriots they take a 14-3 lead Perrysburg gets the ball back desperation time jackets complete a pass but the ball comes out Nathan mag falls on it not quite midnight for Cinderella love this team Olin Tangy Liberty keeps finding a way 14-3 they win they get Springfield next Friday night now the Gahanna vs Pickerington Central third member of our team Adam King was out last night at a huge game in division one Adam joins us now from Under The Lights guys this Gahanna Team all season they've been full of History trying to make some more tonight they beat pick Central for the first time in more than 20 years earlier this season and if they're going to reach the regional finals they have to take down the Tigers again it's always a good one when Gahanna and Pickerington Central get on the field we pick it up in the second half Lions down 14-7 not for long Brennan Ward across the middle to tie Staples and Ty ties this game up the lions are firing those confetti cannons Ward again now and Dior Hubbard is being tackled here but he doesn't care hauls in the touchdown catch and you get a front row seat to his TV celebration so Pickerington Central down by two scores now trying to find any answer but the Lions shutting them down again and shutting them out in the second half Gahanna though they score 31 unanswered points Damian Jones with the exclamation mark here and it's a 38-14 win for the Lions they just keep making history they're moving on to the regional finals we're hungry uh you know we want to uh to be the leading team in central Ohio so that's motivation enough uh playing a great team a historic team like pick Central is uh you know this is part of the journey so we're excited about it and uh we'll get back to work here in a little bit and with that gehenna is moving on to their first Regional Final in a very long time and they'll see a team they've already beaten this year in New Albany we're not done with our playoff coverage for week three though so we'll go back to you guys BloomCarroll vs Thornville Sheridan all right Adam thanks a lot division three action we head to Lancaster top seed at Thornville Sheridan taking on Fifth seed to bloom Carroll second quarter Bloom Carroll up three nothing wanting more Andrew Marshall the nine-yard touchdown Bulldogs LED 10 to nothing at halftime fourth quarter and Bloom Carroll back at it again Ethan fanavong with the touchdown that made it 17 to nothing Thornville Sheridan trying to come back Reed packer avoiding the rush goes to Andrew Holden for the touchdown but that is it Bloom Carroll wins 17-7 also in division three Watterson vs Jackson at Chillicothe third seeded Eagles of Watterson taking on the two seed Jackson first quarter Jackson jumping out Cade Walford 13-yard touchdown right here coming at you they then decide they're going to go for two and they convert make it an eight to nothing game but Waterson will answer AJ mcanich in for the touchdown it's an 8-7 game and they keep it going second quarter mcanich to Brandon trout for the touchdown Watterson wins 24-22 division Harvest Prep vs Wheelersburg five match up the Harvest prep Warriors trying to keep their dreams alive against the Wheelersburg Pirates first quarter scoreless game until Marcelo Cox goes up the sideline and he's not stopping until there's six on the board touchdown Harvest prep they lead 7-0 but we jump ahead to the third quarter Harvest prep now Trails 21-13 Aiden Rogers decides to bet on himself and kids you should always bet on yourself 64-yard touchdown for the Warriors two-point conversion is no good though so Harvest prep still Trails by two until the fourth quarter Rogers play the hits another QB keeper and it's a game-winner harvest prep moves on 25-21 they face Ironton in the regional final all right division two playoff game up Big Walnut vs Massillon in Mansfield fifth seeded Eagles of big Walnut taking on top seeded the Tigers of Massillon third quarter Massillon up 28-9 Big Walnut coming back right here check out Nathan Sievers breaks free and down the sideline he goes 40-yard touchdown try for two was no good and the lead was cut to 28-15 Massillon comes back Jalen Slaughter nice pass to Ardell banks for the touchdown Massillon wins it 42-21 let's head to Dover site Westerville South vs Lake of last night's game between Westerville South and Lake soggy night for football scoreless game in the second quarter until will Butler takes it in for the blue streaks extra point good Lake lead 7-0 but just before the half Wildcats respond quarterback Dominic Bertha incredible display of moves he is Shifty 11-yard touchdown Westerville South ties the game at the half but in the fourth quarter Lake pulls away will Butler one more time blue streaks wins 16-7 congratulations though West Festival South on a great playoff run what a night of high school football last night my goodness hey a lot of great games and a lot of teams moving on of course coming up later today you know a week ago Ohio State struggled the weather was terrible on the road at Northwestern 21-7 neither one of us saw that coming you were there hopefully the weather will be much better today in the horseshoe with Indiana coming to town a team that is uh well 40 points underdogs yeah and I think they're going to be about 40 points on the wrong side I think the Buckeyes win 45-7 I'm taking Ohio State 56-10 okay both of us take them big yeah so let's let's hope the weather's not a factor I'd love that
