TOMORROW NIGHT COULD BE A KIND OF MAKE OR BREAK DEBATE FOR VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS AND FORMER PRESIDENT TRUMP. IT MIGHT ALSO BE THEIR ONLY DEBATE. THE STAGE SET AND READY TO GO. AS FOR THE CANDIDATES, MOST AMERICANS KNOW ALL TOO WELL MR. TRUMP'S POSITIONS. BUT MOST AMERICANS DON'T KNOW ALL TOO WELL MR. HARRIS'S POSITIONS. EYEWITNESS NEWS ANCHOR SADE BADERINWA IN PHILADELPHIA WITH A LOOK AT THE BIG MOMENT AHEAD. >> WELL, BILL, ALL IS QUIET TONIGHT OUTSIDE THE NATIONAL CONSTITUTION CENTER ON THE EVE OF THE DEBATE. BUT COME TOMORROW, THE EYES OF THE WORLD WILL BE ON THIS HISTORIC BUILDING AND WHAT WILL UNQUESTIONABLY BE THE MOST CONSEQUENTIAL NIGHT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE. VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS, ARRIVING IN PHILADELPHIA THIS EVENING, IGNORING A REPORTER'S QUESTION AHEAD OF TOMORROW'S DEBATE. MADAM VICE PRESIDENT, ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT TRUMP? MISS HARRIS HAS SPENT THE LAST FEW DAYS HUNKERED DOWN WITH HER TEAM FOR INTENSE DEBATE PREPS. FORMER PRESIDENT TRUMP, ON THE OTHER HAND, HITTING THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL IN BETWEEN INFORMAL POLICY SESSIONS WITH ADVISERS. TWO DIFFERENT APPROACHES FOR TWO DIFFERENT CANDIDATES. >> THE HARRIS TEAM HAS BEEN IN PITTSBURGH AT A HOTEL FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS, GOING THROUGH MOCK DEBATES, WORKING ON A REPLICA SET AND TRYING TO RECREATE THE CONDITIONS UP TO AND INCLUDING SOMEONE WHO IS PLAYING A DONALD TRUMP ROLE. THE TRUMP TEAM, THEY LIKE TO SAY, IS NOT REALLY PERFORMING. THAT'S NOT REALLY PREPARING. THAT'S NOT REALLY TRUE. HE DOES DO PREPARATION. IT'S JUST A LITTLE MORE INFORMAL. THEY CALL THEM POLICY SESSIONS AND OFTEN THEY'VE INCLUDED PEOPLE LIKE CONGRESSMAN MATT GAETZ, A FIERCE LOYALIST WHO'S PEPPERING HIM WITH QUESTIONS. TULSI GABBARD, THE FORMER CONGRESSWOMAN WHO WAS ON A DEBATE STAGE WITH KAMALA HARRIS AS A DEMOCRAT BACK IN 2019. AMONG THE PEOPLE THAT ARE HELPING HIM OUT, YOU HEARD RICK SAY HOW THE HARRIS TEAM CREATED A REPLICA STAGE FOR THEIR DEBATE PREP. >> WELL, TONIGHT WE GOT OUR FIRST LOOK AT THE REAL STAGE. ABC'S RACHEL SCOTT WALKS US THROUGH. >> WHEN THESE TWO CANDIDATES ENTER THIS ROOM, IT WILL BE THEIR VERY FIRST TIME COMING FACE TO FACE. AND THEY'LL BE STANDING JUST SIX FEET APART. NO PRE-WRITTEN DEBATE NOTES ARE ALLOWED ON THIS STAGE, BUT THERE WILL BE A PEN AND PAD ON EACH OF THEIR PODIUMS. THEIR MICROPHONES WILL ONLY BE TURNED ON WHEN IT IS THEIR TURN TO SPEAK. EACH CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TWO MINUTES TO ANSWER EACH QUESTION, TWO MINUTES FOR A REBUTTAL, AND JUST 60S FOR ANY FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS. >> AND I WAS ON THE DEBATE STAGE, AND LET ME TELL YOU, IT IS A SPACE WHERE EVERY MOVEMENT, EVERY GLANCE, FEELS MAGNIFIED.
