group stretch here? We just always have a little powwow. Just partner stretcher. It's what it's migrating to. Partner stretch. Partner stretch. Okay, tell you what I was watching Emily put on the show last nigh, Love Island. Don't shut up, bro. Oh, man. It's just unbelievable, bro. Peyton and I watched Love Island. Like, religiously, religiously, not religiously, but, bro, that is the most cringe show I've ever watched. It's so good. Which one are you watching? The USA or the British? The new whatever the most recent season is, there's a USA one and there's a British. I mean, this is cringey. I mean, they just bring in, random people. The bombshells. Is that what they call them? Yeah, dude. Come on bro, I know you're part of. He's enjoying it, bro. I was it's like watching a car wreck. Like you're like, I gotta watch. I can't look away. Exactly. You gotta watch it 100%. Dude I literally said the same thing. But you can get hooked, man, because then you're like, what's Rob and Leah's deal? Oh, that was from Hard Knocks last night. Guys, I got to tell you, Austin Reid, his face when Cole Kmet starts to bait him with Love Island. How stressed was the rookie quarterback? Because this is one of those things where someone's like, hey, you know how much I love Love Island? You're like, no, I'm obsessed with it. We watch religiously. Like, seriously, I was just joking. What is wrong with you, man? Like, I think he was like like kind of tiptoeing, like, do you really love it? Because, like, it's safe. Do you watch the US? He's testing him. I really felt for the rookie quarterback there because like I get it, man. Like you don't want to admit that you wake up and read people magazine every morning like it's fine. I like on shows like that. There's always like, there's one person who's like the veteran. In this case, it was Austin Reid. Ironically, he was a rookie and then new to the show as Cole Kmet. And the veteran has always has this energy of like, oh, just wait. Just wait till you get to this. Like when you're watching Squid Games or Tiger King. One of those things. And that person is like the like the, the leader that gets you through it. That was a really sweet, relatable moment. We've always felt that way about a TV show. Peter what are you below deck? That's your thing? Oh, I love that Below Deck. Yeah. What's that? Bravo. It's like Mediterranean cruise. The staff are just sleeping with the people on the on the ship. Great. That sounds awesome. Just wait though. Just wait. Season five. It gets really crazy during summer, captain. All of a sudden you're like, is that the Schrager is out in the Hamptons? I know how do we feel about let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. That kid right there that Austin Reed. He has been a star on Hard Knocks through two weeks. He had a great charming moment yesterday where Sean McDermott threw a challenge flag on a fourth down. Play that off screen. And they show read like Sean McDermott's going to throw a challenge flag. He's like, but what are you doing. And like look I don't know if Austin Reid's making the team Sean McDermott is a made man in the league. And like I just love that this kid has got a personality. And we might we might not see him in the NFL for years and years and years. But through two episodes he's been a stud on this show. Yeah, like his parents support too. That's been pretty cool. Just them being their side. Yeah, it's been cool. Yeah. We saw Roman Dunes perform his rookie talent show song. What does it make off? He did. He did once the team commits, it's very helpful. I was worried there for just a second. How does it make us all feel about the bears right now? Kyle I mean, we always feel great about the Hard Knocks team. They're going to win every game. They look so good. The slow motion sprinklers and all that. I alluded to this in the last segment that, you know, I've talked a lot about the bears over the last couple of weeks. And I get messages chirping about it. Enough with the bears, enough with the bears. I love if people are getting sick of the bears, I love it because if you're getting sick of a team, they're doing something right. There's a lot of people sick of the Chiefs, there's a lot of people sick of the Patriots for years. I want you to be sick of a team because we're showing them. And believe me, if they start winning with this team and they come out two and one and they win that week, two nationally televised game against the Texans, you think you're sick of them now? It's going to be bears 24 seven. I'm sorry to tell you. There goes DJ Moore through the night. I think they look great loose. We'll see. The head coach is never accomplished much. The quarterback's never done anything. But I like that people are sick of them stay sick. I like it. Hey I will add this. The highest rated premiere in the last five years was last week's Hard Knocks premiere of the Chicago Bears on Hard Knocks. So people are watching. The bears fans are activated and the first episode, if I give you my honest review, was like a lot of character building. We're going to get to know Matt Eberflus well, we know Matt Eberflus. We're going to get to know Caleb Williams. We know Caleb Williams. The episode that happened last night, which I watched, it's football like Jalen Johnson and Keenan Allen are going at it on the sidelines. It's great. You've got Wheeler the running back trying to make the team and Chad Morton the running backs coach, is chewing them out like there was actual football. And Caleb he's the biggest show in town. The guy is awesome. And there's a great humanity in him so far that we've seen through two episodes where he's not this cocky, know it all, like he's hanging with Brett Rippin, Austin Reed and Tyson Bagent, and he's just one of the guys I'm really growing to, like Caleb through the show. I mean, you guys know how much of a fan I am of the Los Angeles Lakers. And ironically, this comparison happens on my favorite basketball players birthday Magic Johnson. Shout out to Magic Johnson. Happy birthday. But Caleb Williams reminds me a lot of the impact that Magic Johnson had coming to L.A. there was an excitement. There was a smile that he has that lit up a city from Los Angeles to Bangor, Maine, and I think Caleb has that same thing. Whenever you see him, he's smiling. There's this relax, this ease to him, this comfort. And I'm like, Kyle to your point, man, I am really feeling like I'm like, I'm like falling in love with the Chicago Bears. And I've never been a bears fan, ever. The only person I ever liked from the Chicago Bears was Refrigerator Perry. And that's because he had refrigerator in front of his name. That was it. Like. And now all of a sudden I'm like, I'm into it. So. And then shout out to the Chad Morton and Ian Wheeler. I love that. Kind of like the dog days of two a days. And you have a coach and my dad used to say this, if your coach isn't on you and screaming at you, then it means they don't. That means they don't care. And if they're on you, they care. So I think this kid might end up making the team coach. Scream is a love language. Akbar. You didn't like Brian Urlacher, Devin Hester, Jake Cutler We could go on. You didn't like any of those guys over the years on the bears? I did like Devin Hester. I did like Brian Urlacher. But you have to remember with Urlacher, I was competing. So it was it was a difference. You know what I mean? Devin Hester I grew to appreciate. But going back earlier like like it was Refrigerator Perry that was that's my favorite Chicago. That's it. That's all I have for you. I'm sorry. I like just the ten second. We had insight into the meeting room where because we always hear about this after the fact, especially if things don't go well for a rookie quarterback. Like, man, the attention to detail just wasn't there. Like, oh, he wasn't. We're seeing all those little insights into Caleb Williams when they were having a meeting room talking about the officiating crews and Caleb Williams goes, yeah, well, how often am I going to see these guys? And they're giving him a bio that Craig Wrolstad, who knew an athletic director at a prep school in Seattle, I had no idea. But like, this is the kind of stuff you care about. There's 17 crews and you can see him listening and calculating this information and like, oh, it's the hard knocks. Curse I'm drunk on it. Yeah. You know what's interesting about that? Because I never I used to always figure out like, how did a quarterbacks know all these these officials I never knew any of the officials. I only knew Ed Hochuli and Mike Carey. That was it. But the other guys that never knew. So that was cool that they were giving him a breakdown like that. Yeah If you didn't see it, here's the scene. As Jamie was detailing. It's a guy named Harry freed. Do you know who Harry freed is? That's Jared Freed, our old friend of the show. That's his little brother. And his job is to help prep Caleb Williams on who the different officials are so that you can have a relationship with these guys. And like Jamie said, he's talking about how Craig Wrolstad, one of the great officials of the league, is actually an aide or an administrator at a prep school in Up in Washington state. But Harry freed, Jared Freed's little brother, a little friend of the show. Actually, I think Jared Freed was once on the program dressed as a taco or something like that. Sombrero I just, I the best, the best I can contribute is a little inside information. There's a guy who works for the bears who's been with him for years, who's a friend of mine, and I texted him about a week ago, and I go, give me the real deal. Like, how's it looking out there? Tell me how this team is. He says Caleb's coming along. Defense is ridiculous. And I go, well, that sounds great, but like, I need a little more than coming along. What are we talking about? This is a number one overall pick. Is he ready? And he said he'll be ready again. Defense is ridiculous. That's what we've been talking about with the bears. And Peter mentioned if u have not seen Hard Knocks Jalen Johnson their all pro defensive back is just battling with Keenan Allen all practice every practice one on ones talking chirping. And then after a few battles they sit Keenan Allen down in front of the media. And they say How's Jalen Johnson out there. And Keenan to his credit says I haven't had a catch on him like I can't get him. I'm going to get him one of these practices, but I can't get open on him. The bears defense is very shortly now going to be the best kept secret. This defense is going to blow up and bring it back to our show. Erdahl Erdahl you got a nice little piece there. Did you see that? You did hard Knocks. There's a nice gmfb spot and I got jealous because it's your voice and it's wonderful. And you're talking about the NFL top 100. And I was thinking, how can I get on Hard Knocks next week? So here we go. Ready. Do it Peter. Go give him something. The thing about Jamie. No sound. Okay. Hold on, hold on. Give me give me a countdown. 3 to 1. Jamie, give it to me. Give it to me. Three, two. Action The thing about the bears that really concerns me is this coach's haircut going to be Ryan Reynolds when it comes December and January? Or are the things going to come undone? That's the question in Chicago this month end scene. All right, get that get that in there, Schreiber. Get in there. Get in there. Get in there. That's in there. Hey, that is going to make the cut. Yeah, absolutely I hope so. I thought of you. I heard my
