Can Mike Macdonald Turn Around the Seahawks Defense? #NFL Week 1 Takeaways

my fourth takeaway from week one is Mike McDonald might be the best defensive mind in football now that might be an overreaction from one game but that's a takeaway that is a big reason why Mike McDonald got the head coaching job in Seattle in the first place if you look at Baltimore last year they LED or were top 10 in pretty much every defensive category if you contrast that to the Seahawks last year they were 30th in yards given up 32 they were dead last in plays against their defense and so you look at those numbers and they are completely two different defenses but if I told you I had a defense with Kyle Hamilton ran Smith Patrick Queen if you contrasted that with a defense led by Devon Witherspoon reek woen Julian love Leonard Williams yeah you might say the Ravens defense is better at least slightly bigger names but I don't think it's necessarily my Seahawks bias to say that core set of defensive players for the Seahawks isn't that far off and so for Mike McDonald to come in take that core that was with the Seahawks last year and to turn them around so quickly is a good sign for Seattle
