countering when they talk about it St John blocking downstairs helmet counters with the right well patience is a virtue and in this case virtue must be a fist to the [Applause] face throwing a left to stay alert well that's one way of showing off throw a left hand from 5 ft away powerful cross down stairs that is a tough shot to absorb blocking down low that body shot was telegraphed from the let's look into round number six Teddy Atlas how have you scored it after five rounds a this has been a great fight so far I have a scored 49 47 for round 6 look at that speed just firing in there with those punches solid cross followed by Wicked hook this left hand thinks on its own answering with a great right hand that's what they mean by countering when they talk about it this left hand thinks on its own look at these two go back and forth on each other tremendous action excellent hook excellent hook there R nice shot by St John booming punch you just can't allow yourself to get hit in the body like that period we've reached the halfway point here in the sixth that was a good hook thrown there superb left hand to the body hmck responding with a good cross that right hand was as straight as a laser [Applause] be firm right hand on top that was just an oldfashioned Haymaker so we've reached the last 30 seconds of the sixth round guarding that body good use of the arms to cover up round six coming to a close that ends the sixth round the crowd showing their appreciation [Applause] here let's head into round seven nice right hand shot to the body there perfect fundamentals scheduled for 10 Teddy Atlas how do you see it after seven rounds I hav scored 68 67 five rounds a piece got the arms up to off that shot solid hook there by helmet excellent hook and an uppercut to the body by helmet [Applause] Midway through round eight hmck blocking up top the left slipping off St John with a tremendous shot to the head there good execution with the right nice two jab combination to the body St John blocking downstairs oo a punishing Blow from the right hand the jab sets everything up St John blocking upstairs less than 30 seconds remaining here in the eighth round hmck HS good decision to hold on it's going to give her a chance to rest for a few seconds these are the closing seconds of round eight that'll do it for round eight it seems the crowd appreciates something here I wonder what it [Applause] is here we go round number nine Teddy h you have this fight after eight rounds Al this one is close I have it scored 78 77 six rounds each that's a dangerous thing to leave yourself open to St John blocking up top two hooks to the body in a row there a thundering right St John with an exp explosive counter left halck blocking up top she just wasn't going to let that head shot get in solid jab to the body there solid left connecting [Applause] there hmck countering with that cross stiff jab there by St John inside a minute to go in the ninth nice shot by St John going to the body is like putting money in the bank you gain interest hmck holding on let's see if she can get some win back she looks like she's starting to feel the effects of those punches attacking in the clinch good mean shot there by St John blocking upstairs there are less than 20 seconds left in round nine what a mediocre round [Applause] here we go it's the final round thundering left to the body by St John defending the body booming shot to the body there that is a tough shot to absorb blocking up top palmi scores a nice counter with the hook moved right into the hook blood trickling down the face after that right hand ow that right struck like lightning that's a solid cross followed by a wicked hook to the body by St John that's a nice counter that's a solid cross to the Head followed by a wicked hook to the body this is turning into a street fight halfway through the final round hard leftand shot there by hmck excellent timing there halmi defending her head good quick reactions guarding the head excellent right hand to the body by St John now that was a big cross hmck trying to show off her hook to the judges surely she can't think of Landing a right from there setting up the cross with the jab always good to double up like that that uppercut should have found its way home we're only 30 seconds away from going to the cards that's a solid cross followed by a wicked hook to the body by St John answering again with a great left you got to be fast to sneak in a pair like that 10 seconds to go here in the final round now let's get the
