tagged her and the throw home was wide of Coleman so Hansen scored on the slow roller to third but then Pickering as the ball got away from her tried to come home and they tagged her out and now think she did a good job with that and allowed her defense to make the outs behind her three balls in a strike the keeping track of timeouts and circle visits ends up taking more time from the Umpire I I didn't think she was all that bad at Texas five hits two runs six strikeouts one walk tonight much better [Music] two-run home run and that's all she gave up retired the first nine that she faces she'll be responsible for the runner at first as Payton moneli comes out of the pin and this is I think a pretty big moment for monelli too you talk about pitchers who have been struggling a bit monelli had been dominant in a sooner uniform through her first first 16 Innings of work but it's been the I guess it would be 15 and a third no 15 Innings yeah it's been the last full inning 2/ thirds against I'm sorry a third against Kansas where she gave up a hit two runs and walked one and then she wasn't even credited with a full Inning on April 6th against Texas so I was right the first time her first 16 innings were fantastic it's been the last two outings the last third of an inning soono won that game at Kansas she was kind of I there have been some and listen I'm going to go to the mattresses because there had been some that have said well whenever they went to pton monelli late in that game it just against Texas it looked like Oklahoma was grabbing it straws well the plan was to maybe try to throw off Texas with monelli and how hard she throws at night yeah right and a little tougher to see but unfortunately monelli just she really struggled to find the zone at a walk I think they did she have a hit batter in that game no that was the Kansas game but a big spot for here to just close this thing out against the pin hitter Katie Rea Runner first first pitch grounded foul down the third Baseline that thing came off the bat weird I think that's been the biggest challenge with her is just finding the zone or finding the the spots where hitters will chase and it could still be borderline of strike I think that she struggles trying to find those Corners agreed that's a really good point she's got the velocity I think a year under coach roacha she'll be a lot better next season monelli was ready to go and repa wasn't in the batter box yet so they reset the 22nd clock Payton brings it to the Belt the1 swinging a Miss if Payton monelli can can and what's Wild if you look at her history wildness has not been an IT issue she didn't walk a lot of batters but if she develops an off speed M over the next year look out which we just saw one that was pretty
