gaffa one-nil win today against alham at a ground that we've never won at before what's your thoughts on that one wasn't aware of that to be honest um obviously an away game on a bank holiday weekend you know as the as a big travel is a is's a lot of traveling for us but um you know to come and put a performance in at that level was uh was fantastic so um I wasn't aware that it's the first time we've W here but um I'll take that and uh yeah we keep moving on obviously Chris muu scored our winner from the spot today how sort of important do you think it is to have players in your team that are able to sort of Step Up in the pressure moments like that um well ma is you know since the day we've come in um he's an experienced player um he's got he's got fantastic ability and he's he's a fit lad and you know we know that uh he's capable of of important moments for us um and today was was no difference he stepped up in an important moment and and took the um took the penalty and found the back of the net so um you know there's other moments in the game for us for him um but again we're we're lucky to have him we've set from the moment we've been in that uh you know mags is a guy that's can have a huge influence on us um he wants to play every minute which isn't isn't going to happen for him and he knows it um but he wants to and that's uh that's what we want from from everyone in the dress room and obviously that's now um six clean sheets in our last six away um before then we had conceded in 19 out of our last 20 away games um has changed in our defensive fortunes sort of been one of your main goals since you've come in um I think you know when when you come into the club in the situation that it was um you know you want to build a strong foundation and you know it's something we focus on for sure um from the early stages of us being in and you know it's something that s and buts were adamant that we needed to improve him um and the lads brought into it fantastically so um we've just kind have progressed and matured and and grown a little bit since since then and uh you know now we're looking to obviously be solid at the back and you know look to be a bit more expansive with the ball and um take opportunities um further at the pitch and you know to to win a game one nil away from home you know every team and Club in the country would take that so um we're not overly stressed on on our actual performance today with the ball um performance without the ball is was As Good As It Gets and kind of I felt like we forced them to do things that they don't particularly want to do um and for that we we put that down to a a really good um uh good structure in the team and the lad's commitment was unbelievable okay and then we had a few names missing today um could you sort of just touch upon that for our supporters um yeah we had um three injuries which um you know isn't uh isn't great but again you I said it in the dress room today it's about everybody um and it's I've been I've sat in the rest room I've been a player and you think it's a cliche you sit there thinking who's going to play who's going to play prove today you know we had young boys in the team Lads that we' brought in with huge potential um they came in form for us today um and it's great because they they came to us with a trust that they'd get the opportunity and we trust them to perform and they they certainly did that today okay and obviously we got a very quick turnaround uh we're playing Saturday at Silver Lake in just two days time so what are your thoughts sort of going into that one um recovery is the big one again I mentioned the distance of travel they they've obviously had a a home game today and they've got a trip an hour bit down the road so um you know for them it's it's a better situation but we're on the back of a win we're positive um you know the last words in the dresser room was um you know let's every minute between now and and 3:00 on Monday how can we prepare as best we can and that's as a as a professional footballer that's your um responsibility um you can't be rely on anyone else get yourself right get ready to perform perfect cheers gaffa thank you
