and that that play our offense been killing me on that play like since fall camp and I was like bro I have to make this play I have to make this play and I se I just read the quarterback's eyes and he I saw him break the egg that's what coach Hall says I and I made sure I caught it cuz if I didn't catch it like the chance of getting the first down was high so I had to catch the ball how cool is that maybe you you mentioned you've seen that play a bunch of times at fall Camp maybe to to learn from maybe some mistakes in Fall Camp to it just brought me so so much confidence me and my coach cuz my coach even told me like hey you been getting killed at all fall Kevin look look what happens when you actually practice in and prepare for it Robert you you've been a special teams Ace the past couple years what's it like seeing a young guy like Le Carter doing what he's been able to do the last couple weeks it feels great uh I feel like me my freshman year and sophomore year like him just going out there and balling week out and week in so just seeing that it makes me proud with your interception momentum swings here and then the Miss field goal it swings back what's it like as a defense kind of that quick change getting back out there so quickly after what should have been a really big play for you guys just getting another three and out that's mind said hey whatever the offense do that's on them when we our our standard is getting burn out every time so that's all we did do you feel like it was good for you guys to have a close game like this where every possession matters so much defensively I feel like we did I feel like it um it showed us our weaknesses strength you know what we got to work on what we don't similarly you got an interception a really good interception from uh from Woody and then they overturn it and then the next play is a touchdown uh you guys kind of bounce back after that play though how do you get how do you bounce back how do you stay focused how do you come back and do what you got to do uh coach coach V preaches next next rep mentality that's all we did so we scored they we gave him a touchdown we said they won't score again that's what happened you got your pick Grayson hton got his his safety just how big was was that play late in the fourth uh it was it was a huge moment in the game because without that you never know the game could have turned and just knowing Grayson and Grayson was my roommate at one point and we had those talks and that just made BR a big smile on my face cuz we know we've been both been through since we been here to that end what what's it been like to see him you know make some some really big plays these first two games of the Season making me proud man I I get nothing more than just proud because I'm proud of J G baby I love him like he's my own brother so just seeing that made me so happy how how worried were you about your shoulder I really wasn't worried about my shoulder if you worry about your shoulder another injury might happen so I just come in there head down and just trying to work where's your confidence level at right now it seems like you're just at the best spot you've been at since you've been here uh my confidence level I feel like it's super high but I know I still have to work on some things so just knowing that and being humble about it is going to bring me a long way I'm sorry if you already even asked this but how good does it feel just to get a win I know it wasn't the prettiest win you guys have had but how good do this feel hey man a win is a win some teams lost this week so as long as we on the winning side two and 0 I can't complain what was the message in the locker room after for the defense after the game you know we need to work on and get to work on Monday watch film tomorrow let's go lot to grow on yes sir got to work on our tackling and some of our Zone drops besides that he said we going to watch it if we going to uh uncover it unravel it all tomorrow what do you have to say just about your teammates that really came through tonight oh my gosh and really just kind of helped y'all win this great this game um just proud of them you know when the moment came they succeeded and took it on head on so just seeing that right there made everybody proud and everybody happy appreciate you man thank you
