Week 10 Chick Update: Gamefowl Breeding & Hidden Swimming Oasis!

to this day I still can't believe very little people know about this place this part of men now is pretty legit if you find your way here you get to swim in a pool like this just without the price of davo in 2023 we traded America for the Philippines seeking adventure and the vibrant Filipino culture amidst it all I discovered game fou and the ancient art of cck fight join me as I embrace this ESS sport through the lens of a no reader with eggs brought from Amer [Music] [Music] good morning everybody it is Monday August 19th and I'm happy to report that the chicks are doing really well you see here they love the new setup they're energetic they're running around they're playing and they're acting more like chickens look at this one they're happy they're ranging and it's easier to clean all their droppings I just had to sweep them up a little bit and then uh that's it the only thing I see here is that whenever they run around flap their wings all the rice hole flows out this way I just have to stay on top on sweeping all this but it's a start I got to start somewhere it's not really perfect nothing's really perfect possible a banana and they're loving life good morning everybody it is Tuesday August 20th we are here with the primary family just turned 2 months a couple days back last week we went ahead and put some bedding here on the floor and this morning uh we were able to put let me show you real quick good morning we were able to put this uh roosting device where they would go and fly up here we did not cover them last night we didn't put them in the box turns out that this rice hole not only is a good idea for you know like just the bedding and you know like an absorbent for all their bodily fluids but it actually insulates the heat from yesterday so they're they're totally fine and because they're a little bit older now they're okay to you know adjust to the weather more and here they are good [Music] morning how do you like your new space let's get you some let's change the [Music] water good morning everybody it is Friday it is August 21st it is Wednesday August 21st and the time has come uh to prepare our chickens for a talent and performance test tomorrow the chicken we we have here is Unos [Music] Unos yeah he's ready to go he was born with his brother linog on December 2 of last year and I raised them since they were chicks and uh happy to say I had a hand in his upbringing and tomorrow's the day he and his brother's going to go out to show us what they got and when they come back we could then breed him back to his mother furthering the Mel Sim's bloodline so that's the plan I know you'll be fine I know you'll do well as far as uh his brother Leno he is currently eating a little bit so we're going to have to just keep an eye on that and if he continues to not eat well then we might have to cancel his performance you not [Music] eating say good morning to the primary family good morning I'm starting to see a feature on the sides of their face it's Unique I know in the Philippines they call this SES but looks like they're growing beards all of them even some of the females they look like they have beards on it's interesting look at his beard and this Alber telso has a beard too bearded lady she has a beard too that's just my observation [Applause] so for the most part the rice W here is good to have because one of the pros I could think of is that the chicks are able to run free on top of that it's the most uh energetic I've seen them you you seen in my uh last video I would give them a banana and they would go running after it and this and this some of the cons I've noticed the rice hole would get into their water supply real quick and it would just plug it up so you got have to check it every 2 to 3 hours and uh just occasionally fill it out the thing with that is if I give them medicine I feel like it would go to waste because they would kick the rice hole around and it'll plug it up then I have to throw it out again and then there's not much liquid that they are drinking for the day um a pro with this one is that I'm just able to sweep up all the all the poop and the concrete underneath it is pretty much dry I mean there's a couple wet spots here and there but in exchange there are plenty of uh dry rice hole that I can immediately cover it back with so that's a plus and it overflowing up this way might be a little um inconvenient but as I've shown you on this side we have another we have another set of cages of wooden cages for the CH uh chickens and we're actually putting the Overflow underneath it and then we sweep it out the next day and actually removes the smell too I noticed there's immed like no immediate smell of Po all I smell is rice rice hul so yeah this is good and one more thing this stuff is itchy it's itchy but I mean I guess you get used to it I mean I I got used to it so it's fine when I first brought it over here yeah I was I was scratching to no end but yeah it's it's good now in terms of cleaning I'm not sure if I just wait till it all gets dirty or whatnot but I mean there are some obvious TS that's easy to pick up but I feel like as long as I can still spread it and the smell is not there I'm not too worried about it let me know in the comments below if I'm if I'm wrong or if there's a better way that I should be doing this but for now I'm just spread it around replacing all the wet spots with uh some more dry rice ho and then just spreading it around I currently have the chicks up here so they can have a break from it and they could just you know a break from all the rice so they could just uh be able to eat clean food and drink all their water without any rice getting onto it [Music] good morning everybody it is August 22nd so today is the day that we're going to go ahead and uh put Unos and Leno into their talent and performance today's their talent and performance day and it's a very crucial day because we will find out who amongst them are going to move forward to advance my melum bloodline you can't just pick a random chicken because what's going to happen what's going to happen is you're not going to get the right strain that you want so this is a crucial part of the breeding process today's your day I am rooting for you huh you got [Music] this today's your big day too I'm rooting for you let's see how the primary family is doing good morning oh they're getting big now so I had to put them here yesterday so they could take a break from the ranging part in the rice hole um as I mentioned earlier in the video as I mentioned earlier in the video one of the cons of having their their uh water out on the rice is that I don't know within one or two hours it'll they'll just start they'll just start kicking a lot of rice in there and then if you don't check it frequently you they'll realize soon enough that they won't have anything to drink so and just so happened one of them start wasn't feeling that well so I wanted to make sure they drank 100% of their medication and I gave them some doxic cyclin in their drinking water so they'll just be here for now they'll just be here for now and just is a way to take a break just give him another vitmin Pro to drink fully and that should get them back up to [Music] speed hi good morning everybody it is August 23 uh day after the performance test and it turns out um they weren't able to fight both Nino and Unos so they get to relaxed for a couple more days just getting them prepped but the star of the show is this six-year-old blood stag lemon sweater time and time he's proven himself again and after for yesterday's talent and performance his opponent didn't even stand a chance as you can see it's almost like he never went match only lasted like 34 seconds I know it's not even a question but he's going to be in the running to improve my melms line and Gil more hatch line you drink your medicine I think it is time to set you guys loose here to play today that way I could also clean up the poop tray isn't that right who wants out oh the black one wins again you ready to play so you can go play all they're running around spazzing out I'm going to put their water somewhere in this corner see you guys in a little bit hey what's going on everybody we're on the way to go to zeram it was something about this place last week I had to go visit again um last week I didn't get a chance to go go swimming at their pool but uh we're back again and I'm going to go swimming here we [Music] [Music] go oh the water's so refreshing only of you guys were here the secet spot in the Philippines I can tell you right now the way to get here is halfth least travel and I'll tell you if you make it out this way it's like a sevenstar resort they got all the Cottages here water's smooth it's cool and uh it almost feels like dowo just without the price so yeah you got a good deal I paid 75 pesos per person which is like $150 or something like that h a oh my God everybody I just finished swimming to this day I still can't believe very little people know about this place this part of men now is pretty legit if you find your way here you get to swim in a pool like this for cheap just without the price of davo I mean you'll you'll get the same pool treatment here and lastly I tell you the only thing that's missing here is women but I'm a married man so that does not apply to me let me know in the comments below do you think I should just come here every day and do my Vlogs here I could come here every day contemplate what my plan is for raising my imported game fou and we're getting to a point now where I may have to separate them because as they they're starting to range they are now starting to argue a little bit so I know there's a point in time where the mail will hit a certain level of their life where they need to be courted at 2 months I think it's still too young but if you remember Uno do and linog I had them separated at 50 days because they matured that fast 50 days that's less than 2 months so something to think about hope you enjoyed this trip on that note I wanted
