Imagine Dragons in Concert | Full Tour of MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL

tonight we are in Tampa and we are back at the amphitheater The Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater yes and we are going to see a group that I've been wanting to see for a long time bucket list item for sure also a concert that you were going to try to surprise me on but I still beat you to the punch cuz I want to TI it so bad but thank you for that anyway that is Imagine Dragons I am so pumped for this concert actually you are too yeah um you like their music as well we did do a video at the amphitheater 4 years ago we saw Hall and Oats and we tried to just kind of show you the venue although we weren't the greatest at filming back then not that we are now but that was just some of the early stuff so we're back tonight to show you the venue and also the concert as always I might not well I won't be able to film every single song the whole song copyright reasons but I'll do my best at putting as much in as I can also it rained on us but instead of the general admission lawn seats that we had last time we actually went with a covered seat so I think we're like row X or something towards the end of the covered area but we wanted it to be covered due to the fact that it could rain um also there's a lot of also in here tickets for that around 80ish a piece parking at the amphitheater is free which is a huge perk it was crazy crazy getting in here so we'll put some of that footage in after the intro and they said there's valet parking that's $8 to $10 I have no idea how you do that where you go so just we're taking the free one going to have to walk a little bit but hey it is free parking m going to show you some merch maybe get some food show you the concert I'm excited for this one y also we're St also also we're staying about 20 25 minutes away at a Double Tree on Tampa Bay and uh we have a separate video of that so if you're interested in a place to stay at a con for a concert you can check that video out I think that's it let's go check it [Music] out so we wanted to say like we do in every video Bright Lights loud noises just as a warning fireworks fireworks so moving confet forward with this video if that affects you maybe skip maybe skip this one I'm not sure what the best way to get in to the amphitheater is because we're taking exit 7 off of I4 and it's backed up like this exit 6 was backed up like this and so was exit 5 so we'll just see it says it's about 9 Minutes of traffic right now it's only 6:17 concert starts at 7:00 openers at 7:00 but um yeah it appears to be really really busy so I guess a tip would be get here I think doors open two hours early so maybe shoot for that if you don't want to deal with so much traffic all right now we're up here and we should be able to enter into the parking lot like pretty much right up here on the right and then up here we have the signed State Fairgrounds Amphitheater this way kind of just following all of these cars into parking and there is an officer that's here that directs uh pedestrians across the busy road if you're staying at a hotel across the street and then now we are here just follow the flow of traffic to a parking spot this is the cloud we're kind of worried about here and just kind of hazy out but the amphitheater is this way also concert like I mentioned is at 7:00 there is an opener we don't know any of the opener songs so if we are a little late in should be okay but I'm excited for the concert so a little bit of a walk not really too bad now if it's raining that would be bad if you're here a little early earlier than we were you could get a closer spot obviously um tickets are all through Ticket Master although I think it's a live nationen venue so but I still have the tickets and Ticket Master you just show them the digital ones when you go through here I know there are some restrictions on what you can bring in we'll try to show you that and um maybe maybe look at some of the merch get a shirt I don't know we'll just check it all out we are section 12 row X Seats 1 and two when we came for the Hall and Oats concert general admission was actually pretty cool it was nice sitting in the lawn you could rent chairs we just went for like I said the already assigned seat covered because it is Florida and it could rain anytime um you walk around this way and the entrance should be right over here now this venue is rain or shine so regardless what whatever you do rain or shine Show will go on if you need tickets they do have the box office right here and then right up at this point security you got to go through and then there's the amphitheater and this is the security line bags are allowed but you have to have them open because they are going to check through through the bags and I assume everything out of the pockets uh if you do have hats on you'll have to lift them and then you'll scan your tickets right here all right now we are in the actual venue they've got a bar this is going to be very hard to show cuz there's a ton of people a ton merchandise up here hopefully you can kind of see what merch they've got holy cow maybe when the concert starts we could like step down here or something bars bars and what we noticed last time I think there's like two sides to the amphitheater this side we're on and then on the other side of the amphitheater and essentially they're completely the same so you'll have your restrooms you'll have the same sort of bars and food but if you are doing The Lawn Lawn entrance is right there if you are doing seating you'll come over this way what do they got here oh chairs there's the lawn chairs ice cold beer wine uh lots of bars we will enter right there tros tacos who slamming doors snacks bar I mean both sides food everywhere food food food oh we could actually enter here I think over here the pit entrance and then around this whole building is the other side that has the same sort of items that you can get oh here's a look at shorter merch line you want to go look over there I don't know how well you can see the merch but um ranges anywhere from like there's a $5 Poncho to a $85 long sleeve shirt and uh anywhere in between hats are like $35 shirts go from 45 to I think I think they're 45 55 all right you ended up getting the green one it's actually a really cool color look at that sweet so it is 7:00 and the openers are just now getting ready get on stage we're going to grab a drink and then go find our seats found out at one of these uh little spots she said at the main I don't know what the main is maybe something up here but um they have an $11 refillable cup Timber got changed into our new shirt yay woo so just at any of these places they have the $11 free refill souvenir soda um seems pretty well worth it actually so over at this one they have hot dogs I think we're just going to do hot dog and maybe the refillable soda a water got a bunch of liquid death Waters $40 some for all that we are section 12 so we will enter right here section 12 row X Seats 1 and two but here's a look at the venue so your covered area is all here look at the stage that's section 11 12 is over here lawn seats are all up there I am yelling as loud as I can cuz it's pretty loud right here but you can see some of the views they have the aisle letters on the seats this is s uu V WX c one and two right here guys today so we have cannons right now that's who's opening this is the view from the seats and you can see we are covered but it pretty much Runs Out not far after us so I'd say actually all the seats for the most part are covered um I was worried about the Sun but when I when I looked online um if it is usually sunny out this side gets shaded first that side has the sun hit them because you do have the Hard Rock right there blocking the Sun so that's why we chose this [Music] side so here's just a look at all the V said they do have a ton of lawn seating they have bars up there as [Music] well again these are around 80ish dollar that's including tax so I mean your $100 tickets are going to be you know up there or whatever venue split this way and that way so that way has about the exact same things as this side does um oh wind's blowing at least it's not hot tonight now you do have quite a bit of room here leg room so I actually was able just to do this and let people walk through so and there will be a period of time maybe like 10ish minutes that the sun will hit that's just between the roof of this and between the Hard Rock but um luckily it's not hot right now but the sun will be in your eyes for maybe about 10ish 20 minutes let me uh lower the brightness here so you can see it'll just be like maybe 10 20 minutes until it goes behind the building here's our souvenir cup [Music] soda so one more song from cannons and then Imagine Dragons will be out all right cannons are all done so what time is it do we know what time it is 7:43 so I'd say imag of dragons will probably more than likely be on around 8 or 8:15 there are some sprinkles um and we're kind of getting hit with some sprinkles so I'm not so sure that these seats in row X are completely waterproof I would say in order for that to happen you need to be like more in this section um you wouldn't get soaked but you would probably get a little bit of water on you it is very crowded uh more way more than holl notes a lot of lawn seats are taking I'm glad we're not in the lawn today I mean it's not assigned seating so uh you're you're going to be crammed in there but at least it's not hot today now the hot dog not worth hot dog not worth $10 but it was it was it was decent hot dog is just the only thing is nothing's really cheap here so that's the bummer I mean that was the refillable thing is cool that's worth it prob not going to get up to refill it true that's true yeah it's expensive the biggest lightning strike just happened back here oh we were looking at staying at the Hard Rock since you can literally walk from the Hard Rock over here but um average price right now was like three something and since it is Labor Day weekend there were no rooms available but um if you've got the money that's probably the most convenient spot right there just walk over here so they do have Wi-Fi here which is awesome but once you connect to Wi-Fi it brings up the Live Nation like portal and it shows you what merchant stuff is available at the booths it also shows a pre of the food and you can do like merch pickup and different things like that so it's a really cool portal pretty dark over here it's currently 8:11 so I'm guessing they'll go on stage at 8:15 they do have venders going up and down the aisle selling like popcorn ice cream beer water so kind of like the old baseball games you technically don't have to leave your seat to get something all right they just changed their like back area to some color so they're getting close now well it's 8:22 so maybe they're going to be on at luckily we were staying in Tampa Tonight last time we did not got home super late and for an update it's 11:07 we're still not out of parking close though that was Imagine Dragons in concert Awesome everything you thought it would be everything I thought it would be between him and Lindsay Sterling in a matter of just a summer like what else could I do to top that honestly and I will say he sang basically every great song he ever has made there's a couple that we like that he didn't sing um one is on top the world if you've ever seen the incredible Bert Wonderstone movie that's on there so I really became fond of that song because of that movie um but he was very talented it was a show I mean how how many things a confetti did he do like it was a lot of confetti as far as the venue goes the seats were good we stood the entire time CU everybody stood the entire time I will say eat before you go rip off with food it's expensive it's expensive they don't the lines are long just eat before you go but hopefully you got a better view of what a seat looks like there keep our souvenir cup yeah know that soda cup went right in the trash um and we didn't end up getting a refill so yeah but um hopefully you got an idea of what those seats were like compared to the lawn seats in our other video and anytime you get a chance to do something in life that you want to do try and do that's like legal and good yeah do it and enjoy your time because we have been on four flights in the last 72 hours flew into Tampa today from Nebraska yeah and made it to the concert anyway enjoy life with
