thank you for watching my Channel Please Subscribe and like now back to the news country singer rif has announced he has wet as girlfriend Rebecca the country singer 59 revealed the marriage on his blog and even gave fans an inside looking to the rustic wedding via music video he created for a song he had written for Rebecca entitled I do Fe married Rebecca his daughter's school teacher in greycliff Montana on July 14th the marriage comes 8 years after F's wife and singing partner Joey tragically passed at age following a battle with cervical cancer together they made up the country singing du aari plus Joey the daughter he shares with Joey Indiana was ultimately the one who gave Rory and Rebecca the permission they both wanted to marry Rory described how he and Rebecca initially kept their romantic relationship under wraps from Indiana hoping she would figure it out on her own on his blog he described how he wanted Indiana's a pural of his romantic relationship with Rebecca before they moved forward with the wedding F said neither he or Rebecca wanted to interfere in Indiana's connection with her late mother as I had written in my love comes softly blog post in the spring Rebecca and I had committed to be together to choose each other and see where it might lead and although we knew marriage was a possibility it wasn't something that either of us felt like we could seriously talk about you wrote mostly because up until that time indiano we saw Rebecca's Miss Rebecca her school teacher and our friend and although she had become much more than that me I was very careful to let Indie figure it out on her own and honestly I wasn't really sure if she ever could or would at all her love for her mama is so great and so big in her life neither Rebecca or I wanted to hurt that in any way and so we just waited and watched to see if it might ever occur to Indiana that Rebecca could be more than just a friend to her papa and to her eventually Indiana proposed the idea of a wedding between her father and Rebecca and then one morning in late March when Rebecca came to The Farmhouse to take Indie to school we all said a little prayer together to start the day and then they headed out the door as they usually do but a few moments later they came back in the kitchen and re back said Rory Indiana just asked me something that I think you need to hear I asked Indie and she told me that she said Miss Rebecca I think you should marry Papa of course I was happy but caught off guard and told her that that was something we' all have to start praying about and then Indie looked at me and said and I told Miss Rebecca that my mom has been gone a long time and if she marries you maybe she could be my new mother needless to say as I wipe away some tears I told her I thought that was a wonderful idea and after more prayer and conversation we said settled on a plan and a date during their marriage ceremony Fe surprised Rebecca with the song he had written for her I do Fe kept the song a secret from Rebecca as he pended ahead of the wedding but did test it out on a crowd at one of his shows the wedding comes 8 years after the death of Rory's wife and singing partner Joey Joey who was one half of the country duo Joey plus Rory died on March 4th 2016 at the age of 40 after battling cervical cancer the death made Rory a single dad to their daughter Indiana she was just two when her mother passed in addition to Indiana Rory also has adult daughter's Heidi in Hope from his first marriage
