start off with finishing up King of greed because I have like less than an hour hour left in the audio so I've been reading this I think forever so I need to just finish it up because I'm enjoying it I'm enjoying it but I need to I need to finish this so this will be number one good I still haven't gotten into that I read the first book in the Twisted series and that's it but hi guys I'm Lindsay Challengers challenges that's coming out I actually I would flip my camera but my in-law's kitchen is a mess right now cuz all of the people stuff is stored in my house um but I'm going to be filming it's very DIY today teach me how to Di and Y because what the heck you were just like sitting it was just like it was very ethereal like it was yeah I don't know what this lighting is because it's not that I'm not gonna tell them because I'm gonna be Peak nerd at least for the first Sprint so I have my light Lark audio audiobook and I feel like you guys always do like all this productive like diamond painting like stuff right you want to see what I'm doing yes yeah oh is that Sims I'm playing The Sims yes I love the Sims that's what I'll be doing I have like 40 minutes left to light Lark before I move on and like I'm physically reading lessons in chemistry but I want to get light Lark finished so I'm gonna play The Sims well are you a chaotic Sims player like you kill everyone off or you like you're you're building the family you're doing the stuff no no like I I think I've killed a Sim like twice and I can't do it I can't I get so attached I'm like a generational player like I want big like family tree generational player I can't I get so attached to one time I forgot and they took the baby away and I cried for like three days your baby got repoed they took it away and I was like I'm the worst person on planet Earth how did this happen know I'm opposite player I'm like 100 baby challenge chaos soon as the kid's out I'm like peace out bye like I don't care I'll kill off baby daddies like w I love my husband comes through and one time I worked like a week making a house and he changed everything to Blue except for one cow prid couch and he killed my whole family and I was like like slasher yeah yes like he put them all in a pool and took the ladders out this is like I've not forget this was like six years ago and the fact that we're divorced is pretty yeah estimate that's grounds for I'm still considering I still think about it wow I didn't know intense yeah I didn't know the Sims got down like that oh yeah you can burn them you can put them in panha ponds yeah for real for real okay listen when we're not on live I'll tell you about some of the mods I have because the Sims gets pretty interesting let me you not safe for work interest can't wait to I can relate very much to that trying to finish my TBR yeah are you kayani and I we should do like a Sim stream and we will see the differences right now I'll play right now I'm like no I can't go out for dinner I'm trying to get this promotion yeah oh my goodness I don lothario oh Don oh Don party boy ways over there Karina I'll watch it like I've never I don't think I've ever played Sims maybe more than like once in life but or maybe ever honestly I have no clue but I would watch this I could never I could never because I would have to remove some of the mods because my Sims are crazy they they don't act right at all at all I've played um Sims before but that one like you can play and like three days pass and you're like whoa yeah what happened no you black out it's like all of a sudden you're like where am I hello dark wow no for me except I'll black out and I'll play for like a week and then one tiny little thing will happen right like I'll have like their cat will run away and I'll be like I hate this game I turn it off they don't play again for another two months [Music] oh oh my gosh yeah we were in it's Sim thing you're either a very structured player or you're like Peak chaos doing all the things you can't do in real life player there's either you play the game or you build that's it yep my best friend's a builder she's like I literally never go into live mode ever nope never wow I I want to read that I hope you enjoy let us know your thoughts for sure I've not read anything in three weeks I'm excited to start reading today we'll see what it ends up being oh I've hardly read in the last week I cannot tell you the last time I haven't read for a week I couldn't tell you yeah unfortunately slump is slumping hard it's hitting everyone yeah I think we're just ready for fall I don't know if anyone else is but yep same yeah let us know what you end up deciding on K since is such a classic it really is I'm making a messy family tree how many kids can one man have is a grandpa the uncle daddy who knows or both like who knows like we don't know I had like I did the 100 baby challenge one time I think I got to like 60 babies and gave up oh yeah that's hard you're talking like at least several Generations just to get to 100 it's harded it but yeah there's like challenges wow like do you get anything when you accomplish that goal no no this is just something somebody at one point made up and everybody adopted it and everyone does it that in the super Sim challenge that's another one that I played for a while there look Dana listen get on the nerdy bandwagon it's a culture it's a way of life right the problem is is like I fear right that like if I tried it it would never Lo like the grip would be too too strong on me and I just would never be able to get out yep yep my aunt came to visit from Virginia one time and she was like I don't get the hyp Lindsay like show me so I walked her through like creating her Sim and creating her house we didn't leave the house for three days and then she refused to actually buy the game when she went home because she was like I'd lose my job I wouldn't do anything yep yeah see I fear that would be me yep hello welcome I love Sim free play so fun so what is the difference I like you said live and free play free play you I think free play is on your phone yeah it has more restrictions you can't play it as heavily as and asum extensively in the same ways that you can on a PC or on a Mac or even on Xbox but um it's just it has a little bit more restrictions but I think there's the comment there was like you can't like kill people off like that because they don't have that so it's like you just have restrictions but it's essentially the same don't they have multiplayer though they do have multiplayer multiplayer [Music] what just happened I'm not singing or The Sims chaos no reading aloud we're all playing The Sims I I took it over for being here I'm one of the I'm of the generation but never got into Sims always interested in chaos oh yeah oh and Sims fre oh my goodness I love this it's a Time sock don't get into it haven't run in three weeks okay hopefully you know you feel like reading if not we're here to hang yeah oh my look more happy birthdays love it brace oh my gosh I know I love to see it just finished pimp pal back guessing last night how did you like here's the thing not really like I have a reasonable amount of Buddy reads that I could do but then I can't like I can't have a TBR yeah reads or do I do a TBR of Buddy reads that would be sounds like you just found your solution that would mean no spin wheel this month though I don't know we got we got to think about this maybe you could do a wheel with all the Buddy reads and like a spin wheel of Buddy reads I have enough to probably do that just so you can still spin you know yeah because we love the spins just spin it until you run out of I could I really could so the spinner wheel is just here for looks because I'm G to read all of these anyway or I'm gonna fail and have no more Buddies it's either I finish way ahead of you or I don't finish at all yeah that's why middle of the night's already done because I was like let's be real if I don't read it in the first week I'm not reading it it's not gonna happen so go I'm reading the House of Seven House of the Seven Gables by nathani hbor sounds like a classic look that up I was gonna say isn't that a classic that's very ambitious sir I'm looking this up no please think's going to be reading delicate Escape oh I'm so excited my God I'm tempted to start that but need to finish so many my mood reader heart is itching like an addict to pick it up it's it starts off with a bag just so you don't it is a classic by the way I and treasure hunting you should too so many layers are being unpacked with I love it good so far I only play like an hour a day that's some yeah I say I'm only going to play an hour doesn't really say I will say that if anyone is interested in playing The Sims the very first base game is free to play is free and look out for sales because like one of the things if we're being really serious The Sims is really expensive to play like it's really expensive if you actually purchase the base game and all the expansions packs you're in it for well over $600 I bet well over it's expensive so watch because the base game is free you could play it like that and then like randomly it's been like once every month and a half they do like 60% off sales so don't go and buy them full price if you can have some restraint and weight it's like a financial investment you don't have to make you really don't so that's good good good life hack for sure yeah on the yes agree okay you got but I'm honestly I'm so sorry my brain cannot string together where this word should go in that message good morning Jasmine this is so sweet s is like Animal Crossing you agree yeah kind of like but you're farming spoiled yourself have and get everything you want yes yeah I can't wait to hear like what you get and for yourself with yeah okay so I know I put up a poll for the Ambiance we may be using but I think like where she has so much stuff yeah I think it's a tough one because she does have a lot of stuff and her newer stuff in my personal opinion is better than some of her older stuff but it it's kind of like a a weird thing because if you read her newer stuff and go back to her older stuff I think you can see the growth in her writing so I didn't I'm not enjoying those ones as much as I've enjoyed her newer stuff but I still think all of her stuff is good that was a lot of stuff I'm so sorry okay I got it maybe Ted and torn would be a good place to start and then just like go from there because I think you guys enjoyed yeah I think the tatter and torn series is good it's just not as good as the lost and found series but if you want a good place to start I think that tattered and torn is a great series to start with tattered stars is book one it just gets better from there but I enjoyed T Stars I think T Stars was a five star for me yeah I love that one she's really good at romantic suspense and some spice you know bring it on little bit this we bu that let me go vot okay I'll have to take a look oh yeah these were the options oh my go brandom Cozy Cafe oh my goodness Co Cafe okay was good it was my first C and I really enjoyed it yay it was really good adult for subscriptions is too much seriously and they just keep they keep raising prices it's like yeah want hear something funny I'm 36 years old I've been married for 13 years own my home have two children pay for everything still on my dad's phone plan that love that as long he signed up for this company when they were like brand new in our area and he locked in $20 a month for Life unlimited I'm like why would I get off of that never why amazing there you go I'm no judgments here that that's being smart honestly I think you can't go wrong yeah you can't go wrong I think only tattered stars because that seems to be less enjoyed than her newer series so if you want to at least keep the incline going you can start with tattered stars but which is a completed series too so you really and there's also some cameos of uh the the um what's it called The Lost Series in tatter and torn okay so it's kind of like a good starting spot because you're not gonna get anything spoiled I mean they don't spoil it at all you just kind of see some of those characters they don't talk about their love interest or what happened in their life they just you just see them pop up and I only knew that because I had already read the series if you hadn't read the series it's kind of like the chestnut Springs like you kind of see them floating in and out yeah oh Springs yes GL everyone's read it everyone that read it has enjoyed it yes I had to pay for my own Netflix and it's annoying they ruin me being able to access my dad's family account yeah with the whole like household where your household is located thing stupid what do you do if you have like kid in college yeah right it's so stupid I just feel like sorry I was like you should be able to have like at least a few yeah people like you can have five accounts you know what I'm saying like you can have like Mom Dad kids like why do they care who it is like just give everyone five and once your five are gone then you gotta get yeah yeah because I know like he upgrade to pay for like more screens and so it's like I feel if I'm paying for the screens it shouldn't matter where those screens are located if I'm paying for the screens cu the other problem is what about people that have like uh like a condo in Florida or like a house the summer house like how do you you click I'm traveling they give you that option oh okay it's still frustrating is frustrating already money like continue to make your money and be kind to us we're broke you're the next Sprint I'll be a reading machine that's the hope how' you do Lindsay I finished light Lark yay thumbs up or thumbs down or middle very middle okay but like respect for her debut it's the same way I feel about powerless like was it the best thing I've ever read no was the writing pretty mid yes but at the same time like give her some Grace okay because I couldn't write a paragraph So okay that's good yeah what you do k um sorry I was just calling up my book I got to chapter three I don't really know how far into the book that is but I am on oh I'm K JK no page numbers 21 pages in okay very good I did get to listen to a little bit of delicate Escape like a chapter or two but I was productive also so you know this next one I'm very hopeful fingers are crossed thank you okay I'm trying to I did get all my laundry folded so I'll take it that's good oh that's that's amazing yeah that's a win yeah I wish I could have said that coming back my laundry is just staring at me mine's been on the clean clothes have been on the floor for about a week and a half so yeah it was time okay it happens life it's messy indeed I'm trying to pinpoint I think this is where we left off I think this front works at Netflix they sound like an internal mess oh goodness yikes yikes want to spill some tea we're here to listen we won't you know did you like the TV show Good Girls um okay so I haven't watched it yet because like Nikki has you know Nikki's watched almost all of it I think at this point said like it just from somebody like because Nikki and I both really really love that book series and so she's not getting a good you know the good translation vibes from the book to the show um but I do have another friend that hit me up about it too and they said they were gonna watch it and tell me like their thoughts as well so I am gonna watch it I just don't now my hopes are now set very very low because um like I know Nikki loves that book series as much as I do so if she's not exactly thrilled with the adaptation I I fear I also won't be I've never watched it and the books weren't my favorite I think I haven't watched it just because I'm like not I don't know not interested is it true that it takes place in the UK this show yes yeah which is that's weird it's very interesting yeah because she's from the UK but it's like me and Nikki have had like conversation about that before um and I think Karina like you because you'd read some of her other stuff too I think umel surv right and Rachel Price and um we were just like yeah it's kind of like none of her books read Because also the narrators the narrators are very much like American and the settings in her books are very much yeah Americanized I guess like and so then it was like when they were just like yeah it's set in the UK then I was like oh my God she really is from the UK but you know normally like UK authors like their narrators are typically like you know you can hear the accent but she went with narrators that were very much like American you know so it's interesting I I am gonna watch it I don't have higher hopes but I am gonna watch it one of the the only reason why I ask is because sorry I see Nikki I see you Nikki I'm sorry one of the only reasons why I was really interested was because the books take place in Connecticut so I wanted to see if they filmed in Connecticut yeah and I was interested and then I was like it's in the UK and now I kind of have no interest like I like no know yeah this is watching what was bought in UK I have got to watch it like real reality another thing I've never seen I I just eat those up love is blind as a mate like it's such an interesting experiment honestly yeah and it has worked out for a few so yeah the challenge is my whole extent of reality TV and I don't think I will uh well except for I watched a few seasons for for a while there I got except obsessed with the Bachelor and The Bachelorette and then I fell off I watched one season of Bachelor in Paradise and I haven't watched it since like I'm that was like probably five years ago never seen that I'm literally like old school real world on MTV that's like the last I remember like back when Real World was like I just started watching The Bachelorette again Bachelorette words are hard um and I'm liking this season like it's only like eight episodes in like hometowns I'm like hom already Expediting this thing legit they said zoom zoom I've gotta watch it though I've gotta watch this yeah it's it's interesting because usually hometowns we're deep in the teens of episodes like yeah did you hear that there's a rumor that Harry jowy is going to new be the new Australian Bachelor oh my gosh I was like wait made thatc not ready to settle down that's that he's he's been on a few shows but yeah a couple dating shows uh what's the one where too hot to handle is that where he came from that's one he started there and then he most recently was on perfect match season two didn't school very far removed from high school you know uh but I definitely typed a their character essay on lady MC Beth and turn that wait so my husband one time when we were like 20 I'll never forget we went to different schools and I like that week he was supposed to be reading the old man in the sea by Ernest Hemingway and it's like the shortest book ever and it blew my mind because I could read that in like two hours and I didn't understand why he was procrastinating it so bad so that morning I was in class and he was in class in his school and I knew the next class was where he was supposed to be going to take the test and I knew he hadn't read it but he told me he did he had me like going that he was like no no I'm done I completely understand it so I texted him I'm like good luck on your test like being a good girlfriend at the time and he texts me back he's like walking in now do ever catch this damn fish and I'm like you didn't read it I knew it I knew he didn't read it and my test so he had me log on and I took it for him class I was like I knew you didn't you didn't I knew it wow I did the same thing for Isaac what was that I did the same thing for Isaac when he was in college he had an English class and it was prepis he was supposed to be read read the first volume of ppis a Noel and it was two days before his essay was due and he's like I haven't read it so I read the graphic novel and wrote his essay and he passed oh what would they do without us I just don't understand I don't know I don't get it I I can't now because he's in his master's program and I'm like I'm out now you're on your own I will feel worse than you will don't look over here you know the sick part is that I did that in high school and now I work in education and I'm like you guys just exactly the same so I read the heart of the Raven Prince by TNA Odette and didn't care for it because I felt like I was just reading Cinderella like I just didn't it was just like I know like this is the same story I don't know not my favorite So like um like inspired by yes exactly insired by not necessarily exactly Loosely based on yeah such a good one a little villain backstory I willon read that one day I say I I'm gonna read it on my list one of these days it's very good yeah backstory can be really it's like Orin story right done in an interesting different way from like a
