Eastern slate which I think that's where the DraftKings and FanDuel games are uh St Louis Cardinals and the New York Yankees Eric fetty against Marcus strowman Yankees are a minus 185 favorite at home eight and a half implied run total 71 degrees Wind Blows in at seven miles an hour um then we have the Pittsburgh Pirates in Cleveland taking on the Guardians bayy falter for the Pirates against Ben Lively for the Guardians uh the Guardians are minus 155 favorite nine nine implied run total 87 degrees wind is blowing out at seven miles an hour so that's a little bit of a boost to the bats um I do like Cleveland in this matchup I do like some of their righty bats for sure against bayy falter I know he was really good for the earlier part of this year but he's been a little bit um struggling a little bit of late so I I do like the Guardians bats uh then we have at 8:05 PM Eastern the Oakland A's taking on the Texas Rangers JP Sears for Oakland against John Gray for Texas the Rangers are a minus 148 favorite at home8 and a half implied run total they're indoors so there's no weather concerns there uh 8:10 p.m. Eastern the New York Mets in Chicago taking on the white socks Tyler McGill from New York and Jonathan Cannon for the white socks the Mets are minus 225 favored on the road a nine implied run total uh 76° with the wind blowing out at 6 mph a little bit of a boost to the bats there uh 8:10 p.m. Eastern as well Toronto Blue Jays in Minnesota taking on the twins Kevin Gosman against Pablo Lopez the twins are a minus 175 favorite at home uh eight implied run total 75 degrees with the wind blowing out at8 miles an hour and we have the last game of the 810 slate uh Kansas City Royals against the Houston Astros Seth Lugo against fber Valdez uh the Astros are minus 18 5 favored at home 7 and a half implied run total indoors so there's no weather um then we have probably the highest own game of the night the Baltimore Orioles taking on the Colorado Rockies and Kors Albert Suarez against Austin gomber uh Bal Baltimore is a minus 142 favorite on the road 11 and a half implied run total so as you might expect that's the highest on the Slate 83 degrees and on top of it being in Coors the wind is blowing out at 9 miles an hour so so expect a lot of runs in that game tonight um which probably means it'll end up being like a three to2 game that's usually what ends up happening uh in that kind of situation um then we have at 9:38 PM Eastern the Seattle Mariners taking on the angels in Los Angeles George Kerby against Samuel aliger uh the Mariners are minus 192 favorite on the road eight and a half implied run total wind blowing out at 7 miles an hour it's 78 degrees we have the Dodgers taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks in Arizona Clayton Kershaw against Zach Gallen uh Dodgers are minus 135 favorite on the road 8 and a half implied run total of course they're indoors so there's no weather concerns um then we have the last game of the night the Miami Marlins taking on San Francisco Giants Adam erer against Blake Snell uh Giants minus 285 favorite at home it's one of the bigger favorites of the day I think uh s and a half implied run total six 64 degrees wind blowing out at 6 miles mil an hour so before we get to our top plays um for the day anything that stands out to you on this slate Doug Doug are you there oh you're on mute Doug are you there I think you're on mute buddy sorry I was taking care of doctor called me on that when I just finished the call oh okay no problem yeah just for initial thoughts on the Slate I I have a feeling there's G to be a lot of run scored in this one uh of this contest going on tonight I think it's going to be a lot of high scoring and you've got one exceptionally e hiter and um uh lower you pay down the more and more question marks you have yeah no I totally agree um Friday nights you know they're they're usually pretty tough um just just tend to be tough I got my dog barking over in the background here um my doctor your dog Yep this this is just like when coach used to do a podcast and we had a chance Park Cooper it's okay bud Cooper come here he just want to join in yeah Cooper come here bud Cooper come here Cooper it's okay lay down Bud lay down maybe yeah maybe's telling El this G be pitcher duels it's because somebody's mowing across the yard so that's why um yeah so so yeah like you're were saying I expect it to be a high-scoring contest tonight um we've got 15 games uh overall and I think we've got like 11 on the main late so on FanDuel and DraftKings so yeah it's it should be a pretty high-scoring contest it's still warm in most of the country right now so the ball should be flying pretty well yep um my top pay up pitcher today is Blake Snell he's 10,200 on DraftKings 11,200 on FanDuel $55 on Yahoo um going up against Miami I think he's in a good spot to bounce back today he had a rough start last week in Seattle um before that he had had seven quality starts in a row uh with four shutouts in those seven quality starts so I do like Blake Snell at home today for my top pay up pitcher uh do you like Snell as well or who you looking at for your top pay up I could dig into Snell stats it's the matchup on paper is phenomenal yeah um I mean normally I don't like going over 25% on a picture any picture on a large slate just don't like doing it yeah I'll make an exception I'll probably go 35 was s tonight 35% um yeah but I looking at um him he's got about a 35% chance to be the one of the top two pitchers on the late yeah and I I think that that's understating it and uh we're looking at Miami team that strikes out at 27.5% for sure I'm grab I'm gonna go grab my dog real quick one second yep new problem and then besides SN CR just want to let you know um the other pictures I'm looking at are be fmer Valdez Kirby Pablo Lopez L Bea three and I'll sa a couple other ones obviously for the guys in our Discord and ladies what was that sorry I missed that oh I just brushed over the rest of the starting pitchers did out consider snow and then who are the other ones oh well um framer V death somewhat okay Kirby I'm more interested in than most yeah you know he's on the he's on the road great numbers against uh the angels in in LA or Ane yeah uh and the biggest C cing picture I see besides those gu to be Pablo Lopez okay got a huge ceiling a couple more pitchers like sp2s I like I'll say those for the members okay I like that uh any value I didn't really have like a real strong value play that I could see um I think maybe on DraftKings at 8,800 I think Gosman is pretty well priced but on the other sites he's not so um on DraftKings I do like him a little bit I don't know if he a great value at 8800 but I think it's a little bit cheaper than some of the top options so um anyone that stands out for you as far as the value goes it FES the pay down which I I am considering uh we're looking at Lively possibly JP Spears okay because H your Spears is interesting let's that here uh Texans is hitting a buck 80 against left-handed pitchers in August wow wow consider that when everybody people load up on link for tonight uhhuh I yeah let him okay okay I F I'm feading I'm feeding Texas hardcore okay I like that call um my fade pitcher which I don't think he's gonna get that much ownership so I don't even know if he's really a fade but uh he's been doing really well this year's 3.12 ER is Seth Lugo um the Astros bats have had a lot of success against him and he's really struggled three of his last four starts this year so even though he's had a good year overall lately he has not been pitching well and it's a matchup that's definitely had some success against him in the past so um call it a fade if you want like I said I don't think his ownership's gonna be that great but Seth Lugo is the pitcher I'm looking to attack tonight yeah an interesting one we get to talk to this for hours but John Gray would be either a fade or a or play uh he's bler bus tonight blomer bus tonight okay I I I'm personally fading him but that'd be my fade yeah anyone else that you think might get some ownership that you want to fade uh Bradley Tod Bradley okay yeah yeah yeah I like that call um who's he facing again oh boy I didn't even look that's how bad it's been uh um down the end Padres Padres yeah yeah they don't strike out either I would what I had so that makes sense the padr yeah right right yeah yeah I like that uh bvp I'm looking at John Carlos Stanton he's hit 714 five hits and seven at bats against Eric fedy uh four singles in a home run so I do like him as a bvp play um there are some other top BB bvp plays on this slate I'm sure that you you know selected one of those so which one did you land on today oh eeny meeny miny um well I mean if you're doing nice uh Oreo Stacks Austin Slater Austin Slater 9 for 19 that's it's a good bargain that is a good size for sure yeah 474 average uh never he's not at Homer but you know I mean you know he's he's low price in all three sites and sure yeah yeah I like that call it's great in the stacks um let me check the chat see if we got yeah Lugo um Ros said uh he's telling us to play a lot of dogs today that might be true you never know it's baseball if coach was here he'd give him a little Ros Ros Ros so I'll go ahead and do it for Coach so thank you yeah um yeah so for my home run call I am going to um go with yordon Alvarez he's three hits and five at bats again attacking Seth Lugo here a little bit a single a double and a home run I know he had that game the other day you were all over yordon Alvarez he had three home runs tripled da uh that was an awesome call awesome game really saved the Slate for us that's for sure yeah well I I had the E I had the E going and just been very close and taking him down the last couple of days but so close um and maybe tonight I'll do it maybe tonight I'll do it um boy pick a Oakland Lefty you can do a Seth Brown for cheap tonight um or um you know Le day uh you've got Butler like all three of them could go yard tonight and then don't overlook the righties on Oakland I'm huge in Oakland tonight so if you had one guy you just had to pick one who would be your top home run call everybody entire slate that's not chalky M uh I think I'm going to go uh go s Brown nice and cheap okay Seth Brown all right now one thing that that the people that are not members may not know but if you and I do a home run call and we have the same guy they almost always hit a home run I don't know what it is but that almost always happens yeah I don't mind your pick at all don't get me wrong yeah it it's true really is too crash yeah it's been crazy but that's exactly the way it's s Sant andere is something both you and I are both gonna pick tonight yeah yeah for sure I'm I'm definitely gonna pick sander so we're both gonna have him so yeah do a prop bet put a few bucks on santand there to hit a home run it's probably a good chance of it happening um Stacks I do like the Astros as I mentioned uh I think the Mets are in a pretty good spot against Jonathan Cannon um and then the Guardians as I mentioned earlier I like them against bayy falter so oh and gpp stack I do like the Giants against Adam all I think that that's a pretty good spot for them they got shut out yesterday by my Brewers so I think they'll be in a good bounce back you know spot today at home oh I I agree and um i s FR earlier in the day crash and I looked and I looked at the prices on them and my first thought was was chalk really okay okay and with Baltimore I'm going to I yes because they're cheap and yeah uh but I'm going to check on that I mean see what ownership looks like later on um other Stacks I think they're going to get treaded I do like are Seattle okay that a gppp I like that Baltimore um Cleveland righty like you go just righties yeah uh more of a mini stack for me there by I like David I like David fry to hit a home run in that game yeah and Ramirez looks like got Ramirez crushes oh yeah Ramirez is he's almost you know almost a lock to have a good game every game lately yeah he's been really on fire just like uh blatty yeah um yeah uh let me see other teams I wrote down here well Baltimore uh Cleveland uh and we'll do one more um a gpp stack let's go with oh let's go with I like Play More Than 05 total bases as well I do have one more for our members um any prize picks plays that you looked at Doug uh I I I'm not on priz Pi because luckily where I'm unfortunately where I'm at where I I would love I love I love to play it because I would have done great in the home runs the last couple days yeah for sure my three home run plays my three home run play yesterday would all hit um which would have been nice um or over two SL I'll do my Dynasty base Football League while I was doing baseball yesterday at the same time so yeah it's going to be an interesting year for my Dynasty late so okay because I was paying attention to baseball and and not so much football but um boy uh terrain disappointed me on Sten bases so I a little upsetting yeah uh yeah I'm going to go with uh but you want to have a fun one today let's go with uh the upside on Lopez what's the strikeout total right now Pablo Lopez uh he is at 18 over six let's see take over six if it's on there yeah okay um my laptop's taking a minute it probably load faster also do Brandon Roger 1.5 total bases okay do the Only Hits on corfield [Music] um oh of course it looks like uh let me see unless I missed it okay there it is six is the line for Pablo let's go six and a half okay so we're taking you're taking more on six bre outs then yeah his stuff was uh his raw stuff was a lot better last AI yeah uh Derek Wilson asked who your favorite stack on Yahoo is um oh that's a tough one that is a tough one because Yahoo's pricing is pretty tough um let's see well sight till the toughest that's strange all right my current lineup I have the Giants so I'm going to go with the Giants as my as my stack in yah crash are not going to leave it but currently they're my top stack are they yeah he got one more though you said Oakland I bet they're too expensive well they're not the cheapest yeah you know sadly enough I got uh Colorado Okay Colorado and or Cleveland either one is albertz I like that call um I'll let you take the first pick with our two brains lineup for pitcher so yeah H back should we just do pitcher get that over first yeah do you want to just do snow or do you think that I don't know okay everybody's G do snow at something yeah yeah uh well I mentioned Kirby earlier M I think that's a good gpp play I I think he's a great value of 9400 okay Anaheim can't hit right they can't they can hit um I'll go ahead and take Gordon for outfield no I will say just gpp for Kirby because he's been kind of hitting a wall himself yeah so please totally agree with that I'm sorry who did you mention yordon I took him for outfield yeah good clear I take a butler 2900 Laurence Butler yep okay um it's a great price I'll go ahead and take lamante Wade at first base yeah 26 hard beat that yeah they got these this is sad that just lets our members know you or you know our viewers know that you know what you're doing yes memorized yeah well we got at 2400 uh let's see what what he expected to no line up I don't who is it I think it's your strata is for lineup projection he's B what position oh second base what that I love paying on itada yeah even though he's batting e he's close enough to W around for a one I put a St over 2400 in there now I thought they had did they option him into minor league or what happened they placed him on waivers I know he was in the lineup against the Brewers but he G he's gone yeah eth good call crash I take them out of there makes it easier for me hang on well so yeah they they they put him on waivers but it says he's still eligible to play which is crazy but that's I guess that's the rule well they hav projected so why don't we just play it safe and we'll do uh either gof or Rogers do gof off for the Oakland 27 okay uh I want I want to get a couple of the uh Baltimore bat so I think I'm gonna have to go to utility for one and that's Conor n he's supposed to lead off that's not that's not Baltimore anymore that's Miami um yeah yeah I thinking of um there's a lot yeah not sold on out why you take I'll take off that's not a problem for us and then I'll I'll just go ahead and take santand D I know he's expensive but yeah what do Santan de and then this I do Yus okay a third at second base oh second okay second at 28 at 32 and then you're going to do if you want to keep g off we can put uus at third base what what don't we why don't we keep off at like cheer okay we'll put urius at third um and then I think Otto Lopez um could have a decent game against Blake Snell so I can put him at Short Stop and then that isan 4,000 left for utility so knock yourself out you do an auto Lopez or yeah yeah I know he's going to be like point something perc owned but it's a gpp yeah see I don't get his price memorized for some reason Lopez 23 yeah he's 23 is cheap he's batting cleanup or he's projected a bat cleanup so not Nicki Lopez no it's Otto Lopez he's filling in filling in for Xavier Edwards pretty well so well um I'm okay one thing I'm going to mention for for people be nice um rushman been off them for last month I played him in one L last month I regret that so rushman is not at any lineup in fact uh McAn or another catcher for Baltimore might play I'd rather play them over rushman he's been really really okay yeah he got injured his hamstring really too we have 4,000 to play with so um so let's go with h VY Vlad okay I like that he's been crushing oh yeah yeah he's been crushing for sure of course you would know that firsthand with them playing the Red Sox so he loves a Red Sox yeah he does um especially in Fenway um any other questions I think that's gonna be our podcast for the day um we will have an NFL podcast next week we're not sure exactly what the day and the time is going to be stay tuned on
