Georgia School Shooting LIVE Updates: At Least 4 Killed in US School Shooting, Suspect Arrested

is a 14-year-old student here at the school g a y he is a 14-year-old student here at the high school again he has been taken into custody uh he is he will be charged with murder and he will be tried as an adult there are four uh individuals who are deceased from this incident nine that have been taken to local hospitals with various injuries uh of those that were have are deceased two were stent students and two were teachers here at the at the school look at me I was in my Healthcare class around 10:30 and we were just doing work that we had to do while our teacher was getting something from the printer and we heard some loud bangs like gunshots in the hallway and then um my other Healthcare teacher she ran in from across the hallway and told us to run into the bathroom and some in the closet and we hid some of them were panicking felt like they were going to pass out or something and we were there for like 15 minutes waiting for like cops or something to come and after like 20 15 minutes the cops came and um they told us us that we can get out and to follow them outside we had to run to the back just in case and yeah we were in the field for like two to three hours waiting with no water but yeah it was um scary I guess cuz it could have been anybody getting shot and there's like four dead it's like it's scary knowing that that could have been you do you know any other people or no did uh did he know the person no not from school I don't know the shooter it was said that there was a drill but our school does drills and I mean they take it pretty serious so everyone just thought it was a fake drill until my teacher was like we didn't get no email um and like the students started taking it pretty serious and then she got us on in the little corner and everyone was just hugging each other you know I had some of my friends crying until a police two police officers came in with their guns telling us that this is not a drill and that we're still not safe the school is still not safe I didn't think especially in this town in this school I would have never thought it would have happened to a school like mine um I had a lot of friends um in at appalache like this um is my friend group um I was in band so so that's like that was a big Community for me as well um it always has been it's always been like a big family for us um and I I've seen a lot of people um here that like showed up for appalache even though they went to Winder Barrow um but yeah I'd say like we're pretty supportive of everybody especially in like a time like this e e [Applause] [Music] day as we go forward amen a e e shooter is in custody his name is Colt that Co l t gray he is a 14-year-old student here at the school g y he is a 14-year-old student here at the high school again he has been taken into custody uh he is he will be charged with murder and he will be tried as an adult there are four uh individuals who are deceased from this incident nine that have been taken to local hospitals with various injuries uh of those that were have are deceased two were students and two were teachers here at the at the school look at me you I was in my Healthcare class around 10:30 and we were just doing work that we had to do while our teacher was getting something from the printer and and we heard some loud bangs like gunshots in the hallway and then um my other healthare teacher she ran in from across the hallway and told us to run into the bathroom and summ in the closet and we hid some of them were panicking felt like they were going to pass out or something and we were there for like 15 minutes waiting for like cops or something to come and after like 20 15 minutes the cops came and um they told us that we can get out and to follow them outside we had a run to the back just in case and yeah we were in the field for like two to three hours waiting with no water but yeah it was um scary I guess cuz it could have been anybody getting shot and there's like four dead it's like it's scary knowing that that could have been you do you know any other the people that were hurt no did uh did you know the person no not from the school I don't know the shooter it was said that there was a drill but our school does drills and I mean they take it pretty serious so everyone just thought it was a fake drill until my teacher was like we didn't get no email um and like again he has been taken into custody uh he is he will be charged with murder and he will be tried as an adult there are four uh individuals who are deceased from this incident nine that have been 10:30 and we were just doing work that we had to do while our teacher was getting something from the printer and we heard some loud bangs like gunshots in the hallway and then um my other Healthcare teacher she ran in from across the hallway and told us to run into the bathroom and sum in the closet and we hid some of them were panicking felt like they were going to pass out or something and we were there for like 15 minutes waiting for like cops or something to come and after like 20 15 minutes the cops came and um they told us that we can get out and to follow them outside we had a run to the back just in case and yeah we were in the field for like 2 to three hours waiting with no water but yeah it was um scary I guess cuz it could have been anybody getting shot and there's like four dead it's like it's scary knowing that that could have been you do you know any other the people that were hurt no did uh did you know the person the shooter no he's not from the school I don't know the shooter it was said that there was a drill but our school does drills and I mean they take it pretty serious so everyone just thought it was a fake drill until my teacher was like we didn't get no murder and he will be tried as an adult there are four uh individuals who are deceased from this incident nine that have been taken to local hospitals with various injuries uh of those that were have are deceased two were students and two were teachers here at the at the school look at me I was in my Healthcare class around 10:30 and we were just doing work that we had to do while teacher was getting something from the printer and we heard some loud bangs like gunshots in the hallway and then um my other Healthcare teacher she ran in from across the hallway and told us to run into the bathroom and some in the closet and we hid some of them were panicking felt like they were going to pass out or something and we were there for like 15 minutes waiting for like cops or something to come and after like 20 15 minutes the cops came and um they told us that we can get out and to follow them outside we had to run to the back just in case and yeah we were in the field for like two to three hours waiting with no water but yeah it was um scary I guess cuz it could have been anybody getting shot and there's like four dead it's like it's scary knowing that that could have been you do were panicking felt like they were going to pass out or something and we were there for like 15 minutes waiting for like cops or something to come and after like 20 15 minutes the cops came and um they told us that we can get out and to follow them outside we had to run to the back just in case and yeah we were in the field for like two to three hours waiting with no water but yeah it was um scary I guess cuz it could have been anybody getting shot and there's like four dead it's like it's scary knowing that that could have been you do you know any other people that were hurt no did did tried as an adult there are four uh individuals who are deceased from this incident nine that have have been taken to local hospitals with various injuries uh of those that were have are deceased two were students and two were teachers here at the at the school look at me I was in my Healthcare class around 10:30 and we were just doing work that we had to do while our teacher was getting something from the printer and we heard some loud bangs like gunshots in the hallway and then um my other Healthcare teacher she ran in from across the hallway and told us to run into the bathroom and some in the closet and we hid some of them were panicking felt like they were going to pass out or something and we were there for like 15 minutes waiting for like cops something to come and after like 20 15 minutes the cops came and um they told us that we can get out and to follow them outside we had to run to the back just in case and yeah we were in the field for like two to three hours waiting with no water but yeah it was um scary I guess cuz it could have been anybody getting shot and there's like four dead it's like it's scary knowing that that could have been you do you know any other people that were no did did you know the person no he's not from the school I don't know the shooter it was said that there was a drill but our school does drills and I mean they take it pretty serious so everyone just thought it was a fake drill until my teacher was like we didn't get no email um and like the students started taking it pretty serious and then she got us all in the little corner and 14-year-old student here at the school g a y he is a 14-year-old student here at the high school again he has been taken into custody uh he is he will be charged with murder and he will be tried as an adult there are four uh individuals who are deceased from this inent nine that have been taken to local hospitals with various injuries uh of those that were have are deceased two were students and two were teachers here at the at the school at me I was in my Healthcare class around 10:30 and we were just doing work that we had to do while our teacher was getting something from the printer and we heard some loud bangs like gunshots in the hallway and then um my other Healthcare teacher she ran in from across the hallway and told us to run into the bathroom and some in the closet and we hid some of them were panicking felt like they were going to pass out or something and we were there for like 15 minutes waiting for like cops or something to come and after like 20 15 minutes the cops came and um they told us that we can get out and to follow them outside we had to run to the back just in case and yeah we were in the field for like two to three hours waiting with no water but yeah it was um scary I guess cuz it could have been anybody getting shot and there's like four dead it's like it's scary knowing that that could have been you do you know any other the people that were hurt this no did uh did you know the person the shoter no fromo I don't know the shooter it was said that there was a drill but our school does drills and I mean they take it pretty serious so everyone just thought it was a fake drill until my teacher was like we didn't get no email um and like the students started taking it pretty serious and then she got us all in the little corner and everyone was just hugging each other you know I had some of my friends crying until a police two police officers came in with their guns telling us that this is not a drill and that we're still not safe the school is still not safe I didn't think especially in this town in this school I would have never thought it would have happened to a school like mine um I had a lot of friends um in at appalachi like this um is my friend group um I was in band so that's like that was a big Community for me as well um it always has been it's always been like a big family for us um and I I've seen a lot of people um here that like showed up for appalache even though they went to Winder Barrow um but yeah I'd say like we're pretty supportive of everybody especially in like a time like this e this nature continues to take place if we are evil has been visited upon others and so today we pray for him that someh through this we ask Lord that you would utilize us there should be a charge to
