asleep couldn't watch it had to get up today spent about four and a half hours just rolling it back and forth looking at every possible thing again and again and again um and now Raj from rsf 49ers is in the house to talk about it so Raj why don't we get right into it um were you surprised that c when you were watching this thing getting ready to watch it that CMC was in civies and wasn't going to go oh man I think everybody felt the same we were all a little nervous a little needed to take a deep breath there and say okay uh oh we were a little shocked I think also because leading up to it we were told um chrish mcaffry is going to play he's questionable usually questionable players play he said I'm going to be good he told Nick Wagner right that was the story um so yeah I was a little shocked and um from what I understand I was with um I was actually watching the game last night with pague and people like that before the game we were in his little suite and the News dropped and he tells you were watching the game you were watching you in pague S I was in his suite last night it was crazy he wasn't in there but before the game pregaming like we were there and we Dro like the news dropped and then everybody's like yo what's going to happen with CMC he goes you know Kyle was kind of thinking about this morning and and worrying about it because the next two games Larry are in artificial turf right they got Minnesota and la so they were like if we press him today and he plays and he aggravates anything these next two games and he plays those two games it would become a bigger situation so I think they were really trying to air on the side of caution and uh he says Debo you know he's going to get a healthy dosage and Jordan Mason and he said that everybody's all right Jordan Mason and boy did Jordan Mason deliver Larry but I was a little nervous I'm not gonna lie to you when CMC was I mean I was feeling great I've been calling for this for two freaking years yeah you know this is this kid is a starting NFL running back I know the difference between a backup running back and a starting running back um this is a starting caliber back this guy's got pick and slide he's got Vision he's got the ability he's he's courageous he'll run between the tackles the first play of the game he just basically him in that Sherwood safety just banged heads I mean it was like literally um I thought wow this is this is the Collision of collisions to start this game and by the end of the game man it seemed like there were guys on that Pittsburgh side that wanted no part of running into JP Mason on that uh New York side wanted no part of JP Mason yeah I was so impressed by Jordan Mason I mean Niner fans knew about JP right but the world got to see Jordan Mason right Prime Time under the bright lights of Monday Night Football he really showcased what he was all about he was an undrafted rookie a couple years back right undrafted free agent worked his way up and he proved he belongs and you're right on any other team Larry Jordan Mason is a starting running back a running back one and he show like this man runs like Marshon Lynch he had the Smashmouth just down your throat running hard 28 carries it's the most under Kyle Shanahan offense 147 yards this his first career start Larry and he was just running down their throat so yeah shout out to JP Mason I was happy to see him go off because we know as Niner fans that he had it in him and to see that man I was so happy I was just so happy for Mason so uh I was too I mean it's this kid's waited but then then the whole thing Knight gets ruined it seemed by by his his his Podium situation was bizar yeah I mean by the way Miguel Navaro here says not just Larry has been saying it everyone's been saying it um lots and lots and lots of people have been saying that you know what what's up with JP Mason why not run JP Mason finally Shanahan found I mean I don't I kind of Wonder would we even would we be seeing JP Mason now if Elijah Mitchell stayed healthy we even would the ners even be on Brock pie if Jimmy had stayed healthy that's a good question honestly those those injuries have opened the door for those guys and I and I think that's a very good question and especially Elijah Mitchell because Kyle loved Elijah Mitchell that's like his guy but those injuries truly truly truly open the door and you got to take the advantage of that opportunity because Mason probably knew he goes I don't have many opportunities CMC is the running back like if I don't showcase my talents here never going to get an opportunity and he honestly I think after this game and however many games he's going to play the rest of the season Jordan Mason just got paid this year whether it's with the ners or not after this season because again any team can add him he'll be a running back one anywhere in this league he just got paid he was an undrafted running back next year his life's going to change after this season because he's getting absolutely paid if he continues to play like this and especially if CMC is going to miss time Jordan Mason man just just showcased the world who he was and same thing with Brock pretty right nobody knew who he was Mr Irrelevant and now if he continues to play like he was last year he's going get a big payday so the Niners man there was a stat I can't remember exactly about all the players that were either undrafted or like seventh round picks had a 50- yard reception game right uh Joan Jennings Demetrius fenan fouls Brock pie and Jordan Mason like they put up all these crazy stats it's like the first time ever that all those players led the team in these statistical categories based off of being undrafted or not so that just shows you how good the Niners are so they have this Talent so someone gets hurt next man up man it's unbelievable I mean the ners are doing the hard part well and the easy part poorly um the hard part is finding anybody on day three of the draft the hard part is finding anybody in the undrafted free agent Market that can play they find guys who can play on three of the draft and in the undrafted Market annually but they also blow their first round pick more than is humanly acceptable I mean mcglen bust Lance to this point bust and he's not here anymore you th through three picks on him Ruben Foster bust S Thomas bust uh Javon kinlaw bust I mean if John Lynch had hit 50% of his first round picks the would be a dynasty probably having won multiple titles by now um on one hand you could point to the the failed first round picks and say is Lynch is a bad GM on the other hand you could look at all the undrafted players and say Lynch is a genius so what is it I mean what is it or is it just as simple as the draft is hit and miss and um they've just missed in the in the in the first round I mean it's like is that is it acceptable to miss as often as the Niners have missed during this during this regime uh in round one I guess it's okay if you win games they've been winning games but you know what I'm saying it's if you gave the ners three first round draft choices um and put them on the roster right now something tells me they'd be better than every team in football yeah I mean that's the thing is the 49ers it is a gamble the draft but they are they consistently Miss in the first round so much it's crazy like other than Nick Bosa who is C Miss Talent and Brandon auk under Kyle Shanah and John Lynch It's been dicey man so I'd actually at this point let them trade those first round picks and get late round picks because it in in my eyes it balances each other out like okay you're so bad at the beginning but you're so good at the end it it it kind of balances it out like you get quality stars in the draft through you know fourth rounders fifth rounders taleno Hua Jan Jennings quality players undrafted guys like Mason you know Brock pie and George KD Fred Warner was a third round pick so they at the end of the day they do build their team through the draft they're a very well calculated team if you look at this roster it's built through the draft but it's not in the first round so if I were interesting yeah it's crazy if it was up to me honestly get rid of all the first- round picks you know they like those um comp picks they get so many comp picks and they're usually the late end picks that ends up being the roster player so to me yeah they may have bad success on the first round but I think it balances out because they have so much good success on the back end of the draft it's it's crazy you know if you look at the Rams the Rams um were missing in the draft an awful lot and then they got impatient and said you know what we're just GNA trade we're gonna trade um our draft picks for you know for for players um and then they started doing that and they haven't you know they and they won a championship they won a Super Bowl out of it so you know maybe maybe that's the route to go you know maybe maybe that is more of uh more of the route than we than we even think I'm looking at the Rams so the Rams last firstr draft choice was a while ago wow Jared G Jared G in 2016 was the last time they picked in the first round wow 20207 2017 they traded their number one 2018 they traded their number one 2019 they they traded their number one 2020 they traded their number one 20 21 they traded their number one 2022 they traded their number one and 2023 they traded their number one this year they took Jared verse in the first round but they had traded basically all their number ones because they hadn't been hitting lesne is a good GM but he was kind of hit and miss and hit and miss and so they're like you know what we're gonna go for known you know qu known caliber players with our first round draft Capital value and we'll we'll draft guys in the later rounds that might be the ners you know that might be the route that they need to go is that you know instead of messing around with all these first round picks that you're getting wrong anyway trade that for for a young veteran maybe that's the route maybe that's the way they they go do it going forward because it it does make you wonder the one of the the lines that always M makes me laugh if people say well the ners have 12 picks but 12 rookies can't make this team okay but you're assuming you're assuming that in this incredibly difficult Venture of picking players that you're going 12 for 12 you're not going 12 for 12 so it might be smart to trade away some of those picks as you said trade down in the draft give yourself a bevy of twos threes fours and fives and see if you could draft a 20-man draft class and get 11 of those guys to make the team maybe you take you know maybe maybe it's a it's a it's a different game plan maybe it's hey you draft you you you get a bunch of picks outside of the first round and then you just take big swings on guys that are boom or bust and so then all of a sudden you've got yeah you're gonna have five picks that you draft that get cut that summer but you also may have some day two and day three picks that become all Pros because because you're kind of taking big swings I kind of I I might want to you know if I were the 49ers I might want to at least consider it uh because you know I mean does it matter if you get a guy in the first round as opposed to the third round I know the best players are supposed to go in the first couple rounds but Dominic Poney I guarantee you if I pulled up the draft list right now we would find guards that were taken in the first two rounds or in front of Dominic Poney that can't hold his jock yeah no absolutely AB absolutely and and that's the thing it's yeah okay we don't have an abundance of first round we miss and stuff and and going back to what you said about the Rams like yeah they were trading their picks and they were signing players and to an extent the ners they go and sign players they have great off Seasons right where they go add little players here and there but they do it as a cost effective way because what they do is like you said they go get those third rounders they go get those Fred Warners they go get those KD they develop them because they have a great development system and then they get paid right so they pay their players that they go through the draft and then eventually you have all a lot of guys are going to get paid some guys you got to release down the line so you can't always have you know crazy free agents but you do have to have a good balance in the draft that's why I think it's great that they have an abundant of late round picks or mid- round picks yeah they may not hit early but the 49ers are building their team that way and if you really look at it okay there's going to be a lot of free agents next year some of them are going to go happen this year a lot of guys they you know didn't return back to the team but the guys they value they return them they get paid and then they develop the the next guys and then you got a guy like you know Dominick puny who this year he looks like a stud and he's going to become a stud with this team and they'll eventually have to pay him and they did it before right you had um you know this is the year with teleno hu funga a lot of unknown will he be back to his top form if not he might be out next year and they have a guy Mustafa who might take his role right and then linebacker same thing so the 49ers have a good system it's just um it's a little different than other teams and with the with the RS when they went and paid everybody eventually they couldn't pay everybody some of those guys got aging they had to leave and then now if you look at the Rams they're really having to integrate those draft picks you know before it was F those picks but now they're really seeing okay we got to start drafting people they got puka right puka n and he was a late round pick and now he's a big part of their offense so at some point every team has to use the draft to their advantage but hey you may not hit on those first rounders Larry it is a it's a gamble you can't hit on yeah it's hit and miss Invader 49ers saysi wonder if Larry still feels that hoe Roseman is better than Lynch because I never did I think hoe roseman's a really good GM I mean look at quinan Mitchell look at look at look what he did in this last draft he traded a bunch of spots down and moved around and he got himself like an extra two a three and a five in next year's draft I mean he he had a tremendous draft this year um and how he roseman's a really really good GM that's why the Eagles are who they are um and the Eagles um are are are a fantastic uh organization as far as Lynch you know I like Lynch um and I think Lynch is a good Personnel guy but you know he's had a lot of Misses in the first round and if he hadn't had those misses they probably have won the Super Bowl by now so that all has to be factored in um a couple other ones here let's go to the star chats we have one super here from 49er uncore throwback if you don't think Brock p is Elite then I don't know what to tell you Frank Gore was inducted into the Hall of Fame love Nick senson called a good game um I don't know where the Brock pie maybe he's talking to somebody I don't know who he's talking to here obviously you know that I think Brock pie is pretty damn good so you're not talking to me um but yeah I mean what do you what do you think of P's performance I I didn't think it was like there was no highlight play that you're like wow but once again he took care of the football and he put up 32 points against a defense that only gave up 30 last year I think three times all year and uh they put up 32 and they went six for six on field goals I mean if they were better in the Red Zone the Niners could have scored 50 on that defense yeah absolutely so real quick what he said about if you don't think Brock pretty is Elite then you don't know football that was what um TJ Ward NFL former NFL safety said last night during the game he tweeted out if you don't think Brock p is Elite you don't know football because he was Diamond like this TJ Ward from deal uh TJ Ward you know I think he played for what did he play Denver played Oregon right Oregon yeah yeah yeah TJ Ward I mean let me look this up I'm pretty sure TJ Ward went to d s um T TJ Ward let me see um TJ Ward Three Time pro bowler 8ye NFL vet right here Boss Man Boss 43 he says if you don't think pretty is Elite you don't know football yeah he's born in San Francisco D sh there you go there you go he said that last night so speaking on Brock py like it wasn't the most elite performance of the weekend but he did not turn the ball over they moved the ball down the field he put him in position and you're right if they would have turned some of those turn those field goals into touchdowns we having a 50-point game and I'm telling you he was very efficient he had some beautiful passes like the big pass to Brandon auk in the corner that's a touchdown he should have had a touchdown last night he didn't but you know obviously did you hear pton Manning ripping him for he ripped him and he should he's right he ripped him that's why you go train Camp Brandon I getting paid 30 million I get it he's a little rusty Larry can't be dropping those later in the year because Brock pie was throwing sometimes the pass he threw to Kyle eek he threw another one to uh George K down the left sideline he had a good game it was efficient moved the ball down the field didn't turn the ball over what more can you ask for I thought he had a good game I give it a what do you think of TJ Wards saying yeah he's saying if you don't think perie is Elite you don't know football do you think that's you think that you agree or disagree I agree because again he puts this team in position to win he moves the ball some of those throws were unbelievable that's what people don't give him credit for they're like oh he's a system he's got the Avengers the throw he threw to Brandon auk that he should have caught was an absolute dime that was I think I tweeted out last night that was the best in complete pass I've ever seen you know what I mean like it was such a very good pass and the throw to Kyle yek I haven't seen a quarterback throw like that for the 49ers in a very long time you remember last time we went deep to Kyle cheek Tennessee Titans game we all remember overthrow holy overthrow listen Brock pie he's well on his way to being an elite quarterback I agree with TJ Ward uh I do too I do too um it's it's a it's a strong stance but it's I I agree with him um I mean at this point it's like get over your goddamn draft position get over your your you don't like him because he's got narrow shoulders and he went in the seventh round get over the fact that you don't like him because he doesn't he you thought Trey Lance was good and you talked up a big game about Trey Lance and now if you talk up perie everybody's gonna think you don't know [ __ ] forget all that you know it just it is what it is the guy has I mean how many guys have had the career that his the way that starts the way his career has started his career has been incredible by the way this Jets defense is this the best defense the ners what's the best defense on the Niners schedule oh man Jets they you know it's so here's the I'm looking at it Jets jets are Kansas City Kansas City's good Dallas Tampa Buffalo Chicago it's probably jets are the what what would you say is the is this Jets D the best defense that the Niners will play this year I think they're among the top three on that list you just ma named um because I mean let's put up La last year the Jets were in position to win several games they they almost made playoff without a quarterback and that defense held them together it's pretty much the same defense they just didn't have a saw reck last year they didn't have him last night it's a good defense Larry this is a very very good defense one of the best Corners in the league soft Gard you got quinnon Williams Mosley and the 49ers just ran right through them so you got to give credit to this offensive line I know we've been talking about Mason and he had a great game but players like Dominic puny last night oh my God where do we start what a steal and then Trent Williams this guy didn't training camp all he did he got a little dehydrated got his IV but he played great Spencer berford came in for Aaron Banks played really good I felt like the old line held them in check and um yeah definitely one of their top defenses they're going to have to play this year no turnovers they played a great football game and they put up 32 points that's week one to come out the gates and drop 32 points is really good and they weren't at their Peak they didn't have CMC Brandon auk looked like he was lost out there and Rusty when everything gets settled there this team might be dropping 50 points a week how do the ners have enough backs and I you know it seems like ridiculous question because they've always had such a canful of backs but I mean right now the 49ers have Christian mcaffrey who's got a calf achilles tendonitis they've got Jordan Mason and then after that you know sher's a ram Patrick Taylor is probably more of a special teamer though I kind of like what I saw in the preseason to be honest I I thought Patrick Taylor looked good to me um Isaac gendo doesn't have running back instincts he's big and fast Hugh che's a fullback they have kesan vaugh on the practice squad so they could call him up they have Elijah Mitchell but he's on ir and his season's over yeah so I guess the question is do they need to pick up another running back and and um I went and looked today at every team's practice squad to see what the inventory of running backs looks like I wouldn't come on here and say they ought to go get a running back and not have some names to throw you guys I actually looked on every team's running back list I found 10 running backs that I really like on teams practice squads let me give you those 10 right now go ammani Bailey played at TCU cut by Kansas City home run hitter very explosive Jabari small played at Tennessee behind Jaylen Wright but he's very quick and he's not he's pretty he's like he's like uh maybe 510 210 something like that Dylan Johnson who played at udub uh got hurt in the Natty um he's with Carolina he's on their practice squad JJ Taylor who played at University of Arizona was in New England for a number of years 55 but super quick super fast he's on pit he's on uh Houston's practice squad Jonathan Ward uh who had a really good preseason with the Pittsburgh Steelers he's on their practice squad Michael arter on Arizona's practice squad he's an interesting player good player I think he played at Air Force maybe uh Frank Gore's kid Frank G Jr you could get him Kevin Harris kind of a bigger bodied former South Carolina running back in New England um daer Prince uh who's who's on Miami's practice squad I think he might have been on Kansas City's last year he played at Tulsa pretty good pretty good running back and then my favorite guy is Dante Miller who the New York Giants signed out of out of col he went from Columbia to South Carolina so he actually played in the ivy league and played in the SEC I AR too many guys who can say that but Dante Miller runs in the four threes he's a tiny little back but man he is a electric home run hitter those are 10 running backs that are right now on other teams practice squads um what do you think do the ners do you do you like kesan vaugh um should the ners pick up another running back should they resign breida um they're not very deep at running back after the way this you know summer has kind of shook out yeah no I thought Matt breida was I was listen to your list if they're goingon to bring anybody back it's probably breida because they want a guy that knows the system and that's usually what the ners do they get players bring them in cut them and they bring them back put them on the practice squad something like that um they probably will get breida my guess is they're going to get a running back this week they cut Jonathan Garvin from the practice squad opening up a spot so to me it tells me the pr was that today that was today yeah I didn't see that so Garin got C from the practice squad yeah yeah Jonathan Garin Aaron Wilson reported it um earlier today I just didn't get a chance to post it but um yeah he got cut from the practice squad so that to me means that they're probably looking into getting somebody probably running back you're right I think they really want to see what the CMC situation looks like because they can't just you know CMC is your guy he's your running back but again if it's more serious than we we kind of think and yeah they're going to need to figure something out in that situation Mason's great but 28 carries a game I mean that's not sustainable it's just going to take a toll I mean after the game CMC kind of Choke he goes I don't know how not CMC Jordan Mason Joe I don't know how CMC does it every game like he he even he was like oh man this is tiring and I mean he had that game of his life a lot of adrenaline but every week taking that beating as good as Mason is and as you know hungry is you got to make sure you have a running back to behind him gendo he's very raw he's still young um Elijah Mitchell injuries tough so I think they're going to get another running back uh bring them on to the practice squad you know uh just for depth but hopefully hopefully Larry what which guys do you do you like any of those names that I threw out there I like Frank Gore Jr yeah I mean if you if you want Frank's kid you could get Frank's kid yeah would that would not be a bad pickup I like Frank's kid wouldn't be nepotism it would just be smart no get him but hopefully cmc's back and ready to rock and roll speaking of last night's game JP Mason 94 of his 147 came before contact Joe Mixon had 107 this weekend before contact that was number one in the league but Mason was number two 94 of the 147 came before contact so everybody the Niners o line sucks the Niners o line sucks does it um and then the N the Niners o line posted a 96.1% pass block win rate against the Jets last night third best in the NFL of any o line in week one Mason faced a stack boox 50% of the offensive run snaps second highest rate among all running backs in week one so they stocked the you know they they stacked the box to try to stop him he led the NFL Mason led the NFL in week one as he forced 13 Miss tackles last night against the Jets what do you think I mean how confident are you in in Mason and does it matter to you is it a are people making a big deal over this he said that they told him on Friday to me this seems like a major major you know controversy out of nothing yeah I was a little sad for the guy because he had the game of his life you know you just read all his stats game of his life his best game of his career he first start and couldn't really even enjoy it you know they pressed him on that presser and said you know when were you told and made a big deal of it and you know what man what did you think of that did you think I mean do you think the media I mean he's like this is why I don't like talking to the media it's not the media's fault you can't play media I was I was like see I saw two ways because I know guys in the media I know people like you and a couple other people and that you're asking the question you guys are doing your job then I know players and they get a little pressed and maybe he let it sliit maybe he shouldn't have said that because there was reports saying that the league was going to look into it because you have to report injuries so maybe that's why Kyle was like oh I got to slide this under the table and say no I never told him that you know maybe he was a slip up so it was tough I feel like maybe Mason needs a little bit more PR training he hasn't played a lot right it's not like he's a starter he doesn't go ahead on the media a lot um he he's great you know when he does play but you know he's a backup he's not always going to be in front of the media so maybe he needs a little bit more training there it is frustrating it is part of the game I just felt bad for the guy because I mean oh man he had this big game and now he's you know frustrated because Kyle said what he said after jedan said what he said to Lisa Salter so it was a to me it's like a but it's a nothing Burger but in the grand scheme of things you do have to speak a certain way to Media you do have to make sure stories are you know similar so maybe JP should have ran that by Kyle or maybe Kyle said something to him before you know he got up there so I'm sure there was some behind the scenes things that happened but overall I just felt bad for Mason you know I don't know if you saw the list of the week one miss tackles forced leaders but Mason's number one with 13 uh James Connor number two for Arizona eight randri Stevenson number three um for New England tied with Connor with eight Brian Robinson of the commander seven d Devon aan or aan sixth or he was fifth overall but he had he forced six Miss tackles what do you see in what are the common denominators of Mason Conor Stevenson and Robinson not as much aain but Mason Connor Stephenson and Brian Robinson what do those guys all have in common they're just Smashmouth Runners they're huge these are all big backs all these guys are these guys are big these guys aren't 195 pounds these guys aren't 203 these guys aren't 205 or 210 these guys are like 2 25 Brian Robinson's a horse rre Stevenson is thick James Conor is about 230 Jordan Mason's like 240 what do you think I mean I know speed has been the element that has been kind of the common denominator of Kyle Shanahan backs and Mike Shanahan backs through the years but in some ways I kind of feel like the big back is the way to go now um what do you what do you think I mean would I mean CMC a smaller back Elijah Mitchell was 205 pounds um you know the ners for the most part have gone with Speedy faster guys under Shanahan but what do you think of of a pivot to some of these guys who are true horses because I mean everyone Brian Robinson's freaking huge yeah and S all those guys are monster and they all can take hits yeah no I I think it's good to have a good mix you know I think speed kills in the NFL and I think that's why the shift for a while was to a speedy back because you get it to the guy open space they're gone it's a blink of an eye and you're like oh my God so it's good to have Speedy guys play running back but it is also good to have those power backs because when you need to grind out three yards you need to grind out five yards and you need to hurt a defense and you know wear them out you need a big strong thick guy pa uh to kind of wear them down and Jordan Mason's that big strong guy he's like Marshon Lynch man a guy that's just going to grind you out Larry and it's good to have a power back because you need to be able to wear people down and not only that running backs get hit a lot Larry they take a pounding they take a beating right you just said how he had was it like 90 yards before you know on First Contact or or before first Contact so it's like they get hit they're the first player that gets hit on a team right so if you're bigger you could probably absorb a little bit more than a skinnier guy you know if I'm running if I'm running back one and Larry's running back two I'm going to die out there running Larry you got a little bit more you know meat on the bones you're going to be able to I'll die too I I also will die you're gonna sustain those hits I'm gonna be like this that's it you got to have a little bit of little bit gotta have a little heft gota have a little heft yeah um but it does you know if you think about it I mean um in today's NFL it's like you want you GNA have a back you want a durable back um it would be nice to have a kind of a bigger back what did you think of um the 49er offensive line overall because you know the offensive Line's much maligned and people love to crap on the nine or R line but now you got trenet left tackle you got banks at left guard you got you got puny at Right Guard who looks really really strong um you know how how much do you feel better or more confident in the Niner line going forward um or do you think you know do you think they still need a lot of work I think they're better than I thought they were going to be I'll give you that um Trent Williams I love Trent Williams I'm so glad we paid him because he was so good last night um Dominic puny great player we all love him he's looking like he's going to be a you know fantastic player for years to comp his one game but you know you got a temper expectations because it was a great debut for him in the NFL a regular season um but I like it because they can run right now behind puny they can right behind Trent on the left so I think it's going to open up the Run game I wasn't impressed by Jake Brendle that Center position is really kind of uh that that to me um their liability hopefully he can improve um you know I thought Spencer berford came in and he played really good in um you know relief of Aaron Banks when he left so that was encouraging he looked good on the left side uh cul mckivitz is cul mckivitz I'm not going to sit here and say he was Elite or great or whatever he had some big plays here and there some decent blocks um but I think it's because puny I think puny really helped compliment mckivitz and made him you know have easier routes to his lanes because if you watch puny on the film he's kind of cleaning up a lot of stuff like he sees things that I haven't seen another guy on that right side he's not just doing what he's coached to do more doing everything that he needs to do to fill in like he's like a veteran out there yeah yeah he looked like a third year fourth year veteran I was like this guy's a rookie he doesn't look like it so um I was impressed with him of course Trent's great but yeah Jake brandle I was a little wor about that guy how about how about the dline how do you feel about the dline Malik Collins had a nice day Leonard Floyd um had some really good numbers my goodness if you look at some of those numbers that Floyd put up he only played 20 pass rush snaps he had four pressures and one sack and a 21.1 pressure rate oh man I'm tell you what that defensive line was beautiful because they were putting pressure up front the run defense Malik Collins Jordan Elliott oh my I'm so glad we signed them Larry they were music to my ears they really helped Javon Hargrave kind of plug the middle Bree Hall didn't have a big game everybody was talking how Bree Hall is the super back and you know he got his touchdown I'll give him that but he didn't look like the guy that's supposed to be this Juggernaut running back so that D line was much improved Leonard Floyd oh man I'm I'm excited to see him continue to kind of improve with uh Nick Bosa I was excited I thought um Fred Warner after the game he talked about how Nick senson you know they really believe in him and he he gave him the stamp of approval D line was so much better than I had seen him in the last stretch of the season last year so far so good I like what I saw I still think they need another Edge rusher uh to help you know out there like we've talked about but I was impressed by the newcomers um okay are you T are you looking for a new book this football season bet us is the answer with bet us you get the fastest payouts in the industry and easy withdrawals live wagering in all two some of the week two spreads here and we'll pick maybe the Thursday night game Buffalo and Miami okay so Buffalo got the win in week one but they were life and death to beat Arizona at home Miami also came from behind and they got the win um but they but they Jacksonville kind of kind of toyed with Miami now the Dolphins are at home it's week two they're a one-point favorite over the Buffalo Bills um with the you can also go money line or you can bet the total the total's 49 um what's your lean Buffalo Miami Thursday night in South Florida night game Thursday Night Football yeah so I was talking about this earlier uh on my show on Instagram and you know Miami Dolphins are inconsistent I think they're going to lose this game I'm goingon to take the bill straight up um they they have Josh Allen would looked really good I know they they barely beat Arizona but Arizona is a much improved team this year they're a good young Scrappy team I think Arizona is going to be one of those teams that's difficult to beat Larry but they may not win those games but they're going to give a lot of people some some toughness I'm not too high on the Jaguars Trevor Lawrence to me is at pretty mid and they they almost beat the Dolphins so I have Miami winning the or or sorry I have the bills winning this game in Miami um I don't know the Dolphins they beat the teams they need to beat but then they always lose and struggle to the real tough opponents so I got my I got buffalo on Road taking them down I you know let's do a parlay I like that one I'm also going Baltimore minus 10 over the Raiders I think uh Baltimore at home is a great home team they just lost in week one they're going to take the Raiders apart I think they're gonna blow them blow their doors off yeah I like I like that I also like this one I like the Chargers minus the six and a half on the road in Carolina those are two good picks honestly Chargers going to blow him out man you're probably right Panthers I feel bad Bryce young unbelievable it's tough man to see him just not good uh Chargers under Harbaugh they look good well they played Harbaugh football good defense ran the ball JK Dobbins and um I would probably say the Ravens are a little pissed off about togate last week so I like your picks yeah uh com I'm leaning towards the commanders minus one against the gmen not really sure there uh um man I I'm really leaning towards Kansas City given six against the Bengals but you know what you know there's something about when you see a spread in the NFL that just makes you go what then you just stay away that's that's a stay away um Texans at home minus seven against the Bears that's not bad Eagles minus six and a half against the Falcons that's that bad I'm gonna stay with the what I got which is I'm going to go with the Chargers minus the 6 and a half uh Baltimore minus 10 and buffalo Plus One will risk risk let's see risk uh yeah we'll risk 20 there we go we'll risk 20 um and we'll wager let's see oh wait here we go um oh I've got to put in how much do we want to risk there we'll risk 10 we'll risk 10 on that second one and we'll risk 10 on this third one I know we'll go 20 on that one any here we go so here we go we got a parlay we've got we've got a three team parlay um and I'm going with Buffalo plus one Baltimore minus 10 against the Raiders at home and the Chargers minus six and a half against Carolina and we're gonna we're betting we're risking to win 4870 all right there we go good luck good luck to everybody and you know what we're loving we're absolutely loving bet us or you're looking for a new book this football season bet us is the answer for you with bet us you get the fastest payouts in the industry and easy withdrawals live wagering on all major ners Vikings in week two oh Sam darn what are you expecting what you did you see Sam darnold he looked good okay I kind of think that the Niners might be able to attract you know backup quarterbacks um that you know elsewhere just because of how Sam darnold looked before he was a 49er and how he looked while he was a ner and then how he looked after he was a Niner I think there might be a few other young quarterbacks that should try to come here and you know get some of that Kyle Shanahan cooking what do you think so a couple thing yeah so maybe you're saying Kyle Shanahan's the quarterback whisper he can fix bad quarterbacks and send your bad send your quarterbacks that failed and we'll fix them K Shanahan it's the back up Kyle shenan Pro no listen Sam Darnell look good because they played the New York football Giants that team is so bad Larry the team is awful so yeah that's why he looked good but I will say this the Minnesota Vikings did you know this stat the 49ers have not defeated the Vikings in Minnesota since 1992 that's a long time ago I think they're going to end that drought but I who was their coach like Brian bilck or somebody I mean it was a long time ago it had to be 1992 dude that's a long time I was like in grade school um seriously I was in college I was in college the Niners it's a house of horrors I mean like I don't I don't feel like cocky at all going into this game despite the fact the Niners just kind of had their way with the Jets and the Jets have a way better D but I don't feel cocky at all about this because that there's no there's no track record of success there for the 49ers yeah I I think the ners are GNA take care of business though and Sam Darnell is gonna be seeing some ghost Larry sh K if Kyle Shanahan can fix that man he's about to break him down next week I I can't wait I do only thing I don't like is that it's early game I hate the early games Niners don't typically do so great in the early games and on that Turf I just hope that we can get through without any injuries L yeah no question let's go speed round for the comments here the star chats half dead says Larry why is Odum starting over Mustafa odm's had a really good summer I would say that um he probably won't start over Mustafa for very long they did I did see by the way somebody said um said somebody said we don't miss wils um I do think Sorenson's better than wils Bay Area Chris says ESPN showed talanoa hanga as a starter when showing the Niners starting defense anyone else catch that I did I'm like what the heck you guys you how how dated is your information you don't you don't the guy's not going to play probably for a month uh that would be my guess Invader 49er I wonder if Larry steel feels how he Roseman is better than Lynch okay uh we got this one John munis CMC plus Mason equals a winning combination there you go John munz can Bosa get a holding call yeah Bosa with the headlock my god seriously what does that guy need to do to get a get a call emis 4994 saurin Staley instant improvement over wils I like that sain Staley maybe I'll ask Shan what do you think of the job that sain Staley is doing I like that I like sa Staley I like that sa Staley yeah they they look good last night I will say um week one was a rip roaring success for that defense yeah JP hellah hard 2800 says knock it off with the ba Shenanigans his blocking is solid what what Shenanigans he sucked last night make catch million drop he's a re he's a receiver which means you have to receive you sure do see how I I play see the play on words there receiver he needs to receive all right that's gonna do it Raj what do you got cooking the rest of the week same thing as always we're going to be you know building the content we'll be live a couple times um what else we got um yeah just staying locked in keeping up to date with all the Niner stuff as always so appreciate you Larry and uh What uh we'll see you again next week you get a new camera week you're absolutely crystal clear today that's good yeah I'm using a different uh sour yeah oh yeah seriously I mean you it's seriously oh it's sharp as you look like you're it's like a movie it's amazing um that does it for us thanks to pig and a pickle thanks to uh uh our good friends at bet us thanks to sharp corner sports cards and collectibles farage I'm Larry have a great night peace yeah never met a man I've been scared of careful
