Bell's Crossing Elementary Tech Club

[Music] I'm Amanda Madden and I'm the instructional technology specialist at Bell's crossing Elementary we decided that we would start a technology club here at those since we have so many students who are interested in technology and you know they just eat up the projects that we do with them here at school but they want more so we decided that we was striving after school tech club with them and have them experience things that maybe they don't get to experience as much as they would like to in the classroom hey my name is Eli and I wanted to tell you about tech club here at Belle's Crossing it's it's really fun I have a lot of friends here and we're learning a lot of stuff like stop-motion green screens hi I'm Natalie and I like tech club because I really enjoy doing stop-motion and now we're starting green screens and I've really started to enjoy like that because it really helps me for when you get older and you're going to need to use computers a lot so you know what to do and you're not scared to do anything and not feel like they're gonna mess up something in the future at the end of tech club we really want them to just know that technology can be used more for creating than just consuming I think a lot of them consume technology at home more so than create and we really want them to understand how they can use technology on their own to go out and create some amazing things because they're so creative and they have such amazing ideas we just need to give them the tools to do them [Music] [Music] [Music]
