good morning everyone morning are we all well that's good well I'm very happy to be here with you this uh morning um and I'm not sure why Kyle did not um mention this as well but can we all just put our um books away uh my staff will hand out uh some papers for all of you it is a test just to test you again on last week I believe that you have done the test last week right and that the everything that you have practiced and studied it's still fresh in your memory am I right I'm right can you please hand out okay got you I got you I got you my name is Colleen Smith Bea and um I am a practicing attorney I'm a conveyance and a not Republic I was admitted as an attorney in 2001 so this year being 2024 this is my 23rd year of practice uh thank you um today what we want to do is to give you some practical insights on that world of a practicing attorney and so that is why we title it the Practical world of the law of contract the everyday insights from a practicing lawyer and Dr lton I should say indicated um put some respect on that name right and um it's still significant and in fact no transaction is too big or too small you want to be sure that you always pay attention even if your purchase price is 500,000 Rand even if your purchase price is 200,000 R you want to ensure that your client rights are always protected and that the contract is valid in law right but back to this example um can [Music]
