KANSAS CITY ROYALS BEAT CLEVELAND GUARDIANS 6-1 REACTION

ladies ladies ladies ladies I'm here on the sh I'm here to top about game three of four in this Guardians Royal series uh I done the double header yesterday in first two games this four games set and game three here today and the Guardians uh they didn't show up for this game they lose 6 to one and now both teams are at 75 and 58 the the Royals improve to a 75 75 and 58 record while the Guardians drao to a 75 and 58 record The Royals are now on a tie for first place in the um AL Central the Guardians they had a nine they had what 1 Point a n game lead in this division or something like that nine 10 games on between there and now they're tied for the division league with the Royals Royals might low key win this Division I don't I just I don't know about the Guardians man they just got really lucky with the first half you know they had David fry having a good start of the Year Steven Quan and he regressed it's just you're not getting anything from the rester lineup really really the only threat it feels like the only threat in that lineup is Jose Ramirez it feels like like you'll get you occas your occasional Homer say from David fry Jay Ram or Josh Naylor it's just this lineup it just isn't it this offense and Gavin Williams I thought pitched a a good game he went five innings three hits two earned runs two walks six strikeouts over five innings so I thought he pitched a good outing but then Scott Barlo he gives up those three runs and that um seventh inning he's he sucks uh but yeah the Guardians man only three total hits for one run they scored their one run in the fourth inning that was that was it actually Lane Toms drove that RBI but for the first time since April 13th the Guardians are not standing at top the L Central the morning of June 26 I see the stat here the Guardians they had a 10 game lead on the Royal in the in the AL Central now the teams are tied for the division the Royals have clinched a season series tiebreaker like the Guardians how they they don't have the middle infielders to compete they just don't have the hitters to compete just a huge huge collapse and also you know owning the tiebreaker over the Guardians my CL in series season series time is also huge towards the end the season but I'm not sure the Guardians will be close the way they're playing right now to the Royals come end of the season if they were to be close for the division I just can't believe the Kansas City Royals are now tied I don't know the Guardians are struggling and the Royals they had a really good trade deadline you know getting Michael lenen Paul dong Locus earth like they had a really underrated trade deadline that helped them get better and hopefully Michael Ren's okay heard his hamstring um I think in the second inning so hopefully uh for them he's okay but the Royals are looking for the sweep tomorrow they're looking to be the outright division leaders tomorrow and they've owned the freaking garies this year s and2 record I just don't know the only Al teams playing worse than the Guardians over this time from June 25th to August 27th 2024 are the angels and the white songs like they've been horrible it's just the bull Royals bullpen was perfect after the rain delay the Royals bullpen went was perfect 15 up 15 down and tonight was the eighth time in the last 13 games they fa to score more than three runs but the offense has been in the bottom four baseball since the allstar break like d with the angels and white socks I think like like it's it you can say oh the Royals are simply that good they're fineing their stri but um it's a collapse I don't care I like I don't care it's a collapse the team probably overachieved early they've been caught by an equal team and simply just don't have a elate starting pitching when Logan Allen and Guy when the guys like Logan Allen as a part of your rotation you're basically just hoping to hang on and the offense has been bottom four since the All-Star break like there's so many games where they're just scoring one two three runs they don't score more than three runs like I just don't know the Guardians are not guarding their first place spot very well okay that was cringe um but yeah we're going over Cleveland I've talked you about Cleveland here I want talk say talking [ __ ] I mean it's kind of just criticism of this team like they just overachieved in the first half second half this the allstar break they've been awful bottom four offensively and they're pitching subs and they're they're going to have to try to avoid get swept tomorrow if they get swept tomorrow they'll be second place in the division but now let's get to the Royals we'll get some Royals got to give the Royals some credit here nine total hits for six runs in tonight's game and also this is a little bit late of a recap because the game yes was in a rain delay um the Royals scored two in the second three three in the seventh and then one in the ninth in the top of the inning so we'll go over the summary here see if I can find the scoring summary D young hit a two run Homer to start it off Lane Thomas in single to to cut the lead from to cut the lead to two to one but then the top of the seven three runs scor from uh the Royals make Garcia single and a wild pitch and then a single from Massie and then the top of the nin single from mean so from the seventh seventh inning to ninth inning three ybi singles and a wild pitch so situational hitting and some power from dong and power from dong and situational hitting for their offense Massie was one for three walking an RBI forine pinch hit pinch hitting one for one in RBI with Junior one for four pastino 0 for five Perez two for five Melendez one for four D young one for two a walk two RB's and a two run Homer hson p CH 0 for one Frasier 0 for three M Mel Garcia one for three walking R behind Isel one for four so Michael Loren only went 1.2 Innings pitched one hit nor runs one one one sh this wasn't due to the rain delay he actually suffered a hamstring injury uh exited his start tonight so hopefully um he's okay and it's not a long injury because he's been really underrated for them since they picked him up at the deadline then their Bullpen was perfect um Hernandez I mean their Bullpen gave up one run okay okay their Bullpen gave up one run oo uh Carlos Hernandez went 2.1 Innings pitch two hits one ear run one walk two strikeouts James MacArthur was really impressive tonight two innings no hits n runs no walks four Strikers and two point zero Innings pitch like great a from James MacArthur you bringing John shriber one inning no hits n he struck out one Sam long one inning no hits n walks no strikeouts and then Chris Straton no hit one inning no hits n walks and no strike out so besides that one run by Hernandez the bullpen was absolutely perfect for the um Royals but after the rain delay I think it was before the rain delay after the rain delay they didn't give up a single hit for the Guardians uh game will game Williams we talked about three five innings three hits turn runs two wat six strikeouts Nick saling one inning no hits N Run while he struck out one but Scott barlos where it went downhill point one Innings pitch two hits three earned runs one walk one strike out Pedro Pedro Pedro AA point2 Innings pitch no hits no strikeouts and then Anthony gosi ghost how you say his name two innings 2.0 Innings pitch four hits one no wson he struck at one for their offense steeven Quan youz and Ramirez each went over four combin over 12 from your top three hitters Josh Naylor 0 for three I guess you can say a combined 0 for 15 David fry one for three watch schne one for three Thomas one for three in RBI bonor 0 for three roio 0 for two and Tyler Freeman pitch hitting 0 for one as for the Guardians man like this team is just falling off a cliff I don't know what they need to do they just need to C their prospects at this point just to bring some life and some fire into this team cuz if you don't this current team just is going to be what you need I think what they need to do is call up say manzardo like manzardo um Angel Martinez call up those guys they have to do something at this point but I don't think the front office cares at this point but yeah both teams are now 7558 and tied for the division lead we'll see what happens tomorrow um after tomorrow's game we'll see who will be um in in a full possession of first place so it's kind of crazy how the Roy were so bad last year now they're really good this year but yeah um we'll see what
