interesting parts of professional cycling seeing the shifts of the stars in the pelaton to new teams and new challenges and it's definitely been a bit hectic of late but in today's video we will be one of the most promising British writers who unexpectedly elected to leave the titans of inos granders in favor of the even bigger Titans and World Tour Rivals y bisma on a 2-year deal Toler has shown himself as a very promising climber and was with inos granders for 2 years and in his time he managed to win the Tour of Norway this year overall and a stage finished second in the tour of Hungary and even second in the copy of B stage race in 2022 plus even a top five at the world tour race the tour of Poland incredible results for the youngster and he definitely has been steadily improving but only has one grand tour on his record with the team so maybe toet saw more opportunity in developing as a rider with Yuma visma and potentially even getting another grand tour under his belt Yuma visma obviously already have a notable Brit in the form of Thomas glog in their squad but toet certainly is a big loss for inos and a good asset for yumo visma next on our list we have another British youngster and this is the top Sprinter Ethan Vernon who has also carved out a impressive track career for himself and on the road he's been Racing for sodal quickstep for the past two seasons and surprisingly the Brett is leaving the Belgian outfit in favor of Israel Premier Tech on a 3-year contract and this may be a reaction to the growing focus on the Remco menle project within the team and also for Ethan Veron the 23-year-old to participate in a grand tour as he hasn't done so yet and he has been far down in the sprinting hierarchy at the Belgian outfit in 2023 Vernon won five races along the way including an impressive win at the tour to romendy showing his promise and certainly is a talent that Israel Premier and will have to look out for to further his development but what a talent to have the next unexpected sizing of the season is Maro Schmidt the Swiss Maestro another talented Rider who won the Belgian tour back in 2022 even winning the copy of Bly stage race in 2023 and most notably he won the gravel stage into molan Chino in the Jalia in 2021 he will be changing sudal quickstep out with the Australian outf for jaob aula Maro Schmidt is a strong allround Rider and may have been thinking of getting more opportunities in The Grand Tour for himself as in 2023 he was not selected for any grand Tours for sodal quickstep so a change of scenery might be a good one for the Swiss Maestro coming in at number seven on the list we have Caleb Yuan who has been a superstar in the sprinting world for many years but in 2023 he did not have a great year and there was riffs between him and the team getting the all clear for the Australian to leave him leaving is definitely not unexpected but it is a bit unexpected that he is returning to his former team ja aula as they already have a top Sprinter on their ranks in the former villan hovan who has had a bit of a turbulent season himself but these two might be fighting it out for the top spot in the team which could be a daunting situation for both of them Caleb Yuan has a very deep palarz in terms of his accolade so we don't really need to spend too much time discussing his worth as a rider but maybe a shift of Team could definitely favor the Australian super talent and we might see him back winning ground tour stages where he belongs continuing on the sprinting theme and this time it is a former Jalia points Jersey winner in the form of the German Pascal aaman who will be leaving uat Emirates after two seasons with the outfit picking up four stages in his time with the team including stage 11 of this year's Italia but of course UAE are more of a GC focused team these days ever more so this has really limited the opportunities for Pascal aiman in terms of his support and the opportunities and he will be leaving at the end of the year for Israel prematic so a bit unexpected to say the least akiman will hope to get back to his former Heights as well where he won a multitude of J High stage wins and he wants to get to the Tor of France as well so maybe Israel primatic can provide him that Avenue but he will hope that he's not following in the footsteps of fellow Jalia points classification winner Jin Marco nzo who didn't have the best time at Israel premere Tech before he moved to q36.5 and I apologize but coming in at number five we have another Sprinter it really was one for the sprinters and here we have Anor dear who is the only Rider on this list who has already transferred to the team he's going to in 2024 and this is AA that he went to after being snubbed for the tour to France election at grama fdj Anor dear obviously spending his entire career with gr FD from 2012 all the way up to 2023 he has decided to shift over to team AA samic and this could potentially be the reported tension between him and David gou but since his change he's won two victories already and he looks like he's enjoying life with the French World Tour team coming in at number four and here we have a very very unexpected transfer it is none other than Luke pla the super Talent from inos granders who looked like he was going to have a long and prosperous career with the British outfit as he really suited the mole of Enos granders Rider good in the TT and a good climber however Luke pla has decided to switch away from inos grenadiers to jaku aula in 2024 pla here a great start to the year winning the National Road Race in Australia and then going on to the UAE tour where he managed to finish second only to rapole overall beating out the likes of Adam Yates and this is worrying times for inos granders losing such an incredible talent that really could have been developed into something incredible at the age of only 22 years old but at Jula it looks like he could potentially get more of a leadership role as there could be scope for getting even a leadership at a gr tour early on but we'll wait and see before we go into number three just some honorable mentions Ed shelling obviously going from Bor hro to aana which is a very interesting move winning a stage at the tour of Slovenia this year George Bennett as well leaving UAE team M and heading over to Israel Premier Tech was quite an insightful move as well Mikel meu going to aana to support Mark hdes was also a bit unexpected and M trantin leaving uat memor after many years to head over to Tudor Pro cycling but nevertheless coming in at number three and here we have a surprise from sudal quickstep once again as it looks like they're shedding away with their sprinting force and the departure of Fabio Jacobson was truly a remarkable one as he will be heading over to DSM feric for the 2024 season and Fabio yakobson of course has a huge chapter of success at sudal quickstep even bouncing back from his almost fatal crash with Dylan kovan back in 20120 but the Dutch Sprinter signing a threeyear deal with DSM really marks a new chapter in his career as he departs from sudal kcub that as we said are drifting more towards the Remco Veno project so this really could be a strong fit for DSM as they have recently lost Sam wellsford as well and dais so they really do have experience in the sprinting field already so yakobson to DSM could be a very good pairing for the two coming in number two of the unexpected transfers we have Pavo COV pav COV has been a di in the rough at inos graders ever since he signed as the under 23 Jed Italia champion and 2023 will Mark the last season for him he was one of their stars in the 2023 Autumn Italian classic season and has put pen to paper to a new contract to join UA team Emirates which will be a three-year contract and will'll see him as part of that Squad until the end of 2026 COV really has been a great addition to inos granders winning the welta B orus and the T of the Alps in his time and even finishing Ninth at the Jud but it seems like he never really got his big shot to develop as a leader although going to UAE means that he won't really be riding for his own chances but maybe more in the services of T Pacha Jo MAA or even Juan yuzo this really is another big talent that inos granders have lost to arrival and is a huge shock to myself and plenty of other people in the cycling World Adam Yates they lost last year and we saw what he went on to do with uat memores COV four professional wins to his name maybe he will amass more here but he certainly is a great climbing talent and will no doubt reinforce the UAE team Emirates GC Ambitions and could be a huge asset to tab patcha for another Tour of France now coming into number one and it is of course none other than the Slovenian Superstar himself the one we spoke about at length prima's RIT who has been the most shocking transfer of this year there were moments that he was going to go with Enos graders after the rumored murger between sadal cric and yumma but that didn't transpire and because of the Season that happened despite winning the juralia and Podium another Welter espania he has deemed that this is not the best opportunity for him he was offered €6 million EUR contract a year with Bor hro and that put curtain to his Yambo visma career with 74 Victor is in total absolutely pivotal rider for the team but RIT deemed that he could no longer pursue his own Ambitions successfully and might have been in the shadow of yoris Bingo's ambition so rugit is a huge talent and has a lot of experience as we know and power left in the tank so he definitely seems like the right signing for Bor hansboro to bring them themselves higher up in the echelon of the World Tour as they have to five in the Tour of France in recent years with both Wilco kelderman and blaz of and this one could really Excel them up and try and compete for that elusive Toral France title that Primos Rock glitch wants himself as well will they have the team to do it that remains to be seen But Primos Rog glit absolutely an unexpected
