SMU vs. Nevada Preview + Prediction | Week 0 College Football

this is SMU Southern Methodist at Nevada at 800 p.m. so this one like I said should be interesting SMU coming into the ACC off of an 11 and3 season in the AAC uh Nevada coming off a horrid and oh do I mean horrid 2 and 10 season in the Mountain West last year I mean they lost to Idaho like huh they're definitely looking to start off this season strong uh let's see what the model thinks model thinks SMU by 11 and A2 ESPN fbii says SMU 86% and the spread says SMU by 27 so obviously it's looking like SMU is the clear favorite and I would agree I'm going to pick SMU to go on the road to Nevada and pick up the W there they're looking for their first win in a Big Time conference so I mean this will be their first uh this will be the first game as the power five school when they're looking to pull one out so yeah this is easy I got SMU and the Mustangs to pull off the win here yeah I mean I don't think it's uh too difficult to here I think uh as the ACC claims now um SMU is here to accomplish greatness um which is still better than it just means more um so I definit no no it's not yes it is uh I definitely think SMU wins this Nevada you know they're one of those teams that you know one day I really hope do play well I'm pretty sure in recent years past they they've actually been a pretty decent team not a great team uh but a pretty decent team um but you know you never know but it's definitely not this season I got SMU uh they're going to be a good football team this year not much to say about this one other than the fact that Southern Methodist is not an Atlantic Coast school I have my own have very strong opinions about the conference deal if I may jump in here uh no the ACC is no longer the Atlantic Coast Conference it is now the all Coast Conference like yeah it's absurd nonetheless I've got SMU there's not much to be said in this game I don't think they cover I think they win by 24 um but I do like to win this game Nevada just isn't good it's just a sad fact they're a basketball school okay and we could even say that that's mediocre at best they give us the Martin Brothers who are from North Carolina that's pretty cool but yeah I've got SMU I I do think that Nevada will put up a little bit of a fight like I'm with you I don't think they cover the spread um but it it nonetheless I think yeah New Mexico will easily take the W on that one
