board this season against Las Vegas Las Vegas 3 and0 against the fever this season and Indiana lost the closest game that they played against Las Vegas this season on Wednesday 86 to 75 the final final score is 88 to 69 the first two games took place out in Las Vegas last game took place on Wednesday in Indianapolis and uh Caitlyn Clark if she can make down her shots then they can uh reverse minutes to a 4 a half point spread in favor the aces tonight over under set at 178 and a half right now between these two teams there's multiple games going on on a Friday night in the WNBA taking place on ION in this time slot there are four separate games going on at the same time Mystics and dream both teams still alive in the playoffs right now as they're right outside the top eight in the WNBA standings that game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. the dream are right now tied with a Mystics that's a huge game both they're tied for Ninth Place at the moment right behind the Chicago Sky there one game behind the Chicago Sky the Chicago Sky also at action at the at the bottom of the hour as well as they're traveling to take on a Minnesota links for that match up Minnesota out to a great start this year 27- n overall number two team behind the New York Liberty and then Seattle store on the road taking on the Dallas Wings Dallas has been officially eliminated from playoff contention in the wmba Seattle Storm wi an excellent season for them this year but uh Caitlyn Clark's team Indiana a fever up to now the number six spot in the WNBA standings as they're above the Phoenix Mercury they've been above Phoenix for last like week and a half or so they're one and a half games above Phoenix at the moment and then Las Vegas they're currently fourth in the WNBA and uh Indiana playing really well lately didn't pick up the win on Wednesday in the last game but feel like a lot could change in this matchup here Caitlyn Clark playing excellent on Friday nights looking to see if she can be the star of a show in a record-breaking night tonight for for uh Caitlyn Clark this is the thing to watch tonight going into this game Caitlyn Clark is just five assists away from breaking the single season alltime assist record in the single season with 36 assists and uh she is just five assists away from breaking Alyssa Thomas' record for most assists in a single season right now for Caitlyn Clark and uh her her numbers this year just been through the roof leading the league averaging 8.4 assists per game as a rookie um in this series against Las Vegas she's averaging just 12 points per game under five rebounds per game and eight assists per game that is the worst scoring output against any team per opped this season for Caitlyn Clark coming against the aces but uh the issue here was just the inefficiency during the last matchup six for 22 shooting one for 10 from three-point range uh if you have that like one for 10 shooting type of game it's probably not going to happen during the next one or so um this she's just got bounce back capabilities for Kaitlin Clark and that's what we're looking at tonight her uh player props tonight gut her at the over under 21 and a half points tonight for this matchup rebounds is at five and a half looking at threes for this matchup here three and a half made threes last game she attempted 10 only made one if she's got her threes dropping tonight then uh very well good things could happen right there with that over the three and a half made threes Mark for today's game but that was a huge issue during the last game it's just the inability to knock down shots uh last couple times that they've stream streamed the fever they've uh been able to turn it up offensively have incredible shot making abilities Kelsey Mitchell she's been going off since the Olympics Breg Caitlyn Clark on fire and um also her teammates as well Lexi Hall and Aaliyah Boston but the last game they just struggled to knock down shots under 40% shooting 7 for 26 shooting from three which their number have been through the roof post Olympics break from three-point range only 27% in the last game and also struggle to make shots at the fre each line where they went 10 for 16 on the other side Asia Wilson carved up the Indiana Fever defense she dropped down 27 points and what was a record-breaking night for her on Wednesday night Wilson broke the single season scoring total by an individual player on Wednesday night for the MVP front runner for this season so she's got 956 total points she's averaging 27.2 points per game and she tied the existing record which was set by Joel Lloyd last year in the first quarter of the last game which she has broken it um by 27 points for her dropping down 27 during the last one so uh we'll be tipping for them probably to get that six seed instead of a five because it looks like it will be the Seattle Storm against the Las Vegas Aces the 5-4 matchup for for uh the playoffs tip off will be in four phenomenal defense by Asia Wilson right from behind stayed with a play rejected Kelsey Mitchell right from behind in the back door layup we're seeing some excellent defense being displayed here by the Las Vegas Aces early on and uh Indiana a couple times struggling to settle down with a basketball one turnover for each of these teams it seems like it's morto honestly um now that turnover resulted back from the timeout getting your team in order and uh forcing a steal couple really good fallway shots they hit and then the three-point shots that's some great shot making great defense limiting right right now Indiana really is uh set the tone here for the remainder of this game this has been a fever team that's been better a adjustment wise this season for them they start off slow they have a tough time getting their wheels going in the opening quarter but then uh once the second quarter hits It's a totally different team it looks like compared to the first and on most occasions it's the team that will come from behind and take the lead and take the lead for good for Indiana for most of those occasions and right now this is a a really solid second quarter out of them both sides of the ball that was their first three in the night as well that that's that's a great timeout taking by Las Vegas too because that wrecks all that momentum that Indiana just uh just came with and now Las October 19th I got a couple of games that I'm doing over on ESPN plus um at the division one level for my first time doing uh ESPN plus games so those are post very soon out on the community tab once we get to those weeks as as well had some good games last week I covered a field hockey game that the final score is one to zero I actually go through what I've covered so far uh men's soccer on September 1st first the game was called in the 87th minute due to a lightning strike the team that I covered won 5 to one it was the most goals that they had scored in I believe over three years in a home game for them in that 5 to one win so that was my first broadcast the year Sunday September 1st second broadcast was on Tuesday that was September 3rd um it was a field hockey game 10 Z the team that I announced for it was a it was a turnover by the opposing team which led to a breakaway and um one of the players shot and scored it on the Breakaway and the numbers advantage and that was the Lone loone goal it was a shut out due the like they play 60 Minutes in field hockey it was a shut out through like the first 48 minutes and then with like 12 minutes left to go she scored a game-winning goal to win one Z and then um Wednesday I did another field hockey game for another one of the teams that I announced for that one it was really lopsided that scores 8 to1 that team that um the the team that I announced for won that game their opponents has lost 26 games now in a row second longest active losing streak in any NCAA Division regardless for field hockey for their opponent and then what was it Thursday oh Thursday I was at doing a D1 broadcast at Stonehill I had them against forom and women's soccer they're new to D1 it's only their third year so yeah they got crushed on uh on Thursday that was not this past Thursday the previous Thursday against forom they get crushed four to one uh forom had a player who scored a hattick in a seven minute span against Albany back in August and uh she was a first year as well I guess she scored like the quickest hattick ever in program history in a seven minute span uh last Saturday did a woman's Soccer game final scor is 1 Z the uh team that I announced for one of the players scored in 85th minute she scored a lone goal in a match that was incredible just uh both of those teams are so even and then she had a play that completely just uh was a broken play for the other team that they transitioned back into offense she took a shot from Deep at the top of the arc out of the box and uh she popped it up over the head of the keeper and it it was just a beautiful kick in the 85th minute to win the game uh one nil and then last Sunday I was doing a water polo first time this season program making uh some history there the team that I'm announcing water polo for this year it's their first season that they're ever doing water polo so I announced the first ever water polo match on the history of the campus which was pretty cool right now a couple upsets right now at halftime here uh Dallas Wings leading the Seattle Storm 50- 37 right now that's significant because if Indiana wins this game they would close the gap in the playoff hunt against Seattle right now Seattle 22 and 14 number five in the WNBA Indiana is I believe two and a half games back behind Seattle at the moment record of 19 and 18 Dallas is eliminated from playoff contention that's a bad loss there for Seattle if they uh don't come back in the second half Dallas is already eliminated just playing for pride right now then Minnesota leading by five against Chicago 40 to 35 at halftime between the links and the sky and the battle between the Ninth Place teams in the WNBA Washington Mystics in the defensive game leading by four at the half over the Atlanta Dream 3430 at halftime in that matchup for e so right now we're just at halftime feel free to vote a poll if you like as well right now it's 65% fever 35% Aces so before he returns and um that's going to be his third concussion now in the NFL and the fourth concussion that he suffered playing football he had he had won um at Alabama as well during his senior year for him I was watching um couple different takes today about that whole situation it's I I mean it's going to come up it's it's going to be his decision right now nowhere near should he be back playing football like soon within the next few weeks for Tua for him um some people have called for him to retire which is just a terrible time to do so because he got paid significantly in the off season for him hey what's good Kathy industry welcome in Ren Jeff welcome in thanks for joining in wow so uh three to six weeks yeah I I saw it was going to be uh quite a bit of time at first they some people thought it would have been season ending for him but uh three to six weeks yeah that's tough there yeah this is tough tough start for uh for the Packers early on and also the Dolphins now just trying to like tread water until they can get two a back if he decides to come back they only have one other quarterback I saw on their roster to get Skyler Thompson who I saw his stats from the last game he he played oh he he was in the playoff game against Buffalo from last year and he went like 17 for 44 passing or something like that yeah he he had just a horrific game passing but they they don't have like any like sort of like solid backup plan right there and that's that's why a backup quarterback's just so needed in the NFL and um also can help help out the team if they have like an like an excellent like top tier defense too like the defense will be able to carry the team along but if they just don't have good quarterback play where they struggle to protect the football then that's going to be tough there there's other teams that's probably going to be uh G to be making quarterback changes very soon I I've got I've got one of them that in my mind that I I think in my opinion they're going to be making a quarterback change very soon when like by the time we get to week five honestly I would not be shocked if uh DeShaun Watson gets benched for Cleveland and um they whoever the backup is they go to the backup because it it looks like like he's completely lost it for uh Deshawn Watson I've I I really like I I don't know what the line grew to as of today but yesterday I saw the line was the Jaguars were three and a half point favorite against Cleveland for this week's game I I really like if it's still at that number or around that ballpark range and number I I really like Jacksonville this week to crush the Browns it looks like they got like a bunch of distractions for them they got a whole new allegation that popped up this week against deshad Watson they got four players from their defense they got sent to the IR this week their defense carried them last year yeah looks like it's going to be a disasterous year for Cleveland where where everybody was picking like over under four and a half wins for the Patriots this year um I I think you're looking at maybe like a five win season over there in Cleveland if uh deshun Watson keeps on playing like that yeah you get caught up about your guys in Fant fantasy it sucks whenever um one your guys gets injured or so because the focus goes on like the players and stuff like that I um I do The Eliminator challenge over on ESPN as well so last week I I was sweating it out because I was focusing on the Buffalo Arizona Game and buffalo squeak squeaked by Arizona last week but um for my Eliminator this week I got Baltimore Over Las Vegas I just I just don't picture B I I just can't picture I just cannot picture Baltimore starting off 0 and2 they had that long rest there playing at home and Las Vegas uh they they were in the game throughout the most part against the Chargers and then they completely just crumbled in the fourth quarter against the Chargers and yeah I think that that comment said that he was a head coach for years coaching rugby and he told his players never to uh put down like put your head down when you're running right into another Defender because that is likelihood a a big way how you can get a concussion right there that's going to increase the likelihood of a concussion and Tua last year he was working out with a taiichi um somebody who was doing like mixed martial arts and taiichi and um he was helping him out how to land like much better than how he was how he was Landing so he could avoid these injuries and that's just it's just a shame to
