THE BODY WAS FOUND AT THE UNIVERSITY HILL NEIGHBORHOOD, LESS THAN ONE MILE FROM THE CU BOULDER CAMPUS. ANDREW HAUBNER JOINS US LIVE. >> HOW IS THE COMMUNITY HANDLING THE TRAGEDY? >> Reporter: IT IS THE FIRST COUPLE OF WEEKS OF SCHOOL STILL. IF YOU CAN HEAR THAT MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND, THERE IS STILL LIVELY ENERGY. BUT AMONG SOME OF THE HOUSES, THEY ARE MORNING THE LOSS OF ONE OF THEIR BROTHERS , A STUDENT AND FRIEND, ON CAMPUS. IT IS A SITUATION IN WHICH THE COMMUNITY HAS RALLIED TOGETHER IN PRETTY SHORT ORDER. IT WAS A SILENT AND WELL-ATTENDED VIGIL ON MONDAY NIGHT IN BOULDER. MEMBERS OF THIS FRATERNITY, MOURNING THE LOSS OF A STUDENT IDENTIFIED BY CU AS JEREMIAH PARK. CU BOULDER RELEASED A STATEMENT SAYING THAT THE CITY IS SADDEN TO CONFIRM THE DEATH OF THE RISING JUNIOR IT WAS FOUND DECEASED ON CAMPUS. CU SAID, IMPACTED FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAKE USE OF THE BOULDER OFFICE OF COUNSELING AND PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES, AND OTHER SUPPORT RESOURCES ON CAMPUS. RESOURCES THAT STUDENTS SAY CAN BE HELPFUL. >> YOU KNOW, BEING CONFIDENTIAL, WHEN THEY NEED TO BE AND ALSO PROVIDING A LOT OF RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS WHEN THEY ARE GOING THROUGH A CRISIS. >> Reporter: THE NATIONAL FRATERNITY SENT A STATEMENT TO CBS COLORADO. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TOLD US, QUOTE , WE EXTEND OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY AND ALL THOSE AFFECTED BY THIS SUDDEN LOSS. BEAUCHAMP WENT ON TO SAY THAT WE APPRECIATE THE CARE OF THE GREATER CU BOULDER COMMUNITY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. WE WILL CONTINUE WORKING WITH LOCAL LEADERS TO PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT. THE UNIVERSITY IT IS COMFORTING ONE ANOTHER, AS BOB'S, TOGETHER. THAT INITIAL CALL FOR SERVICE OCCURRED AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX ON 11th AND PLEASANT, JUST ACROSS FROM THE FRATERNITY HOUSE. THEY HAVE A MEMORIAL SET UP OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE GRIEVING THIS LOSS. WE DID NOT GO ON TO THE PROPERTY, BUT THERE IS A LARGE PICTURE OF HIM, AS WELL AS DOZENS OF FLOWERS ON THE GROUND.
