well good evening everyone and boy is it good to be back I hope you're all doing well welcome to a new ten live stream it's been a week it's been a week since I've been on but my voice is back I'm feeling better and we're going to be out and about this evening in Los cristianos which is where we're starting off of course and we're just outside buddy's bar we're going to be taking a walk down to the beach front have a wander along we're just discuss a few things we're going to take a bit of a different route to the beachfront today because on the way I'm going to be pointing out something very important bit of an announcement and um yeah something I want to point out just a little bit further down the road there so um just outside of the bar which of course is now fully back open we had two days rest and that we're all fully back to normal back open full teams in there Laura's been in and out today as well and I'll be in and out a little bit later on uh too so buddies all open and good to go it's only just gone a little bit overcast so bear with me it has been a gorgeous day really overall it's just gone a little bit overcast butth welcome along hope you're all doing well I'm feeling much better and I really have missed coming out and about with you all so uh hope we're all going to enjoy this walk together now I'm heading towards the center of town so about a 2- minute walk away and when I get there I'll explain exactly why we're going this way and and just mentioned something quite exciting for you all especially if you're over in September so bear that in mind let me just spin it back around then you don't want to be looking at me you want to be looking at the fuse I wish I had a bit of blue sky for you it was when I scheduled it and now it's all of a bit overcast but that doesn't matter let me tell you tenar Reef right now August we've had the busiest August this is in my opinion but from speaking to other business owners as well who have agreed with me this August has been the busiest August we've had in quite a few years I think since pre pre pandemic August is always busy but this this year in particular has been uh insane I think this is the busiest I've had the car rental with it's it's been nuts absolutely nuts but we're really not complaining it's been brilliant I just want to point out this shop here Supermarket low cost this is where I come every day for a bit of lunch they do uh pasties sausage rolls uh fresh spaghett you can have like H hot baguettes with chicken and eggs and bacon and sausage you can have cold stuff so you can come in here get a nice baguette and take it on the plane with you we take you down to the beach and a BIG full baguette they Bak them fresh in The Little Oven there it's like 3 is 50 it's a bargain really good now you get all the ambulance workers and police and everything in there picking up their lunch so you got all the locals going in there as well to do like salad bowls all kinds all kinds evening Gaz how's it going it was a whale wind trip and unfortunately I was sick when you were over so didn't quite go to plan did it guys but I will definitely be uh catching up with you again soon H thanks for telling is to book it worked you coming again December 5 fantastic H you're sounding better I am a little bit it's still a little bit croaky but definitely feeling much better yeah my voice box and stuff just got ended up getting really tired it was like 12-hour days of of talking non-stop clients bar I love to chat but in the end my voice box was just W done in done in uh being loving over here may come up to Buddies later tonight you're welcome along anytime so Bar's fully back stocked full in full in swing the uh Candyland mocktail which sold out is back in stock had to restock on all of that it's quite hard to find some of the ingredients that went into that we don't think make things easy but it tastes better with this special ingredient we have to go and find so until then we took it off the menu now it's back again with all the goodies inside and yeah don't forget when you go in there make sure you ask for your loyalty card once you buy uh five cocktails the sixth one is free so don't forget to pick up your loyalty card while you're in there and that's valid as well for whole year next year so don't have to even if you don't get it all stamped this Mr Chen it's closed now used to be open it's been closed for a little while just Chinese restaurant here now this unit is up for sale I want you to guess without cheating online how much that Mr Chen unit just there how much you think that would be to buy you know we're off we're off the beach front you know we're on the sort of heading into the center of town how much do you think the Mr Chan unit is up for sale it may surprise some of you it may not you may think it's cheap you may think it's expensive so what do you think this unit would go for if I was going to come and buy it what do you think it's a double unit quite a big outdoor space what we thinking let me know down in the comments here for a minute I'm going to let you all guess while we carry on I've just been I've been looking at units and things so that came up and it surprised me well it didn't it didn't it didn't to be honest it's tenor Reef so it surprised me and it didn't surprise me at the same time 250 400 thought the price was interesting 180 so I think a lot of you have under guessed uh some of you have guessed pretty spot on and some of you have really overg guessed so that is up for I think it was 425 for that was either 425 or 475 which you like when you face here you're like W 400 OD grand for that now bear in mind any prices that you see on apartments units and stuff like that add on about 10% in fees taxes notary fees you name it all the other little bits you got to get done you might need a translator Etc so whatever stuff's listed for add on 10% for all the other jargon that goes with it so yeah I think it was 425 I think it was add 10% on top of that and then you'd get the keys so I it it shocks me but it doesn't it's tenor the the property Apartments units garages they all sell for a fortune but yeah just thought it's a little bit of fun interest for you there you go thought that was a little bit of fun for you uh how is Laura um doing okay thanks Williams she's resting up at home H we did pop out for a little bit of a bik tweet last night nothing major and the eye is still pretty much the same so I can't fly for a week after a week we'll be making a decision about whether to fly uh back to the UK or it's it's really difficult it really is you don't know what to do then you've got all kinds of comments coming in and it could be this and it could be that and then you start Googling stuff and yeah it's um they did all the tests they could in the hospital but then there's been no real results so that really sort of frustrated and annoyed me right it was like 2 weeks and we haven't really got anywhere so yes frustrating we will now be looking into going private in general Private health insurance um I always thought the doctors and stuff were really good over here and I still probably do but it's a worry if you do end up in like hospital and stuff I think I would want the cover so uh cover for me they don't ask any health questions or anything over here which I find interesting on all of the insurance websites for your health they just want your data B that's it they're not bothered about previous history they're not bothered about where you live or anything like that no surveys to fill in h you just put your dat of birth in gives you the price and you just buy it that's how way it works over here so mine was coming out I think at 55 a month for uh like full cover that includes like emergency cover and stuff like that um if you're like over over 70 you're looking about 150 a month for the uh Private health insurance so again just a and Etc just helps the channel out so they call me normally once a month sometimes once every couple of weeks if there's something going on or they recommend changing a certain setting or anything like that and one of their recommendations was to start the the memberships and they they analyze all the channels that you all watch I'm not going to name them because I don't think that's that's the right thing to do but there they analyze other channels that you all watch what they do what you're all doing and quite a few of the other channels that you all seem to watch have the memberships they do a little bit more with them different things you know only members access only videos and things like that for now we're only doing just a nice little 299 a month membership if you want to join it think I would trust them but there were there were 110 in there it's € 10 cheaper than I paid in San mall and they don't sell fakes or anything it's all genuine gear in there so could be a place to an issue your end as well so H if you are struggling make sure you refresh your end too and make sure on your settings on your end you've got the quality Ted up there's a little settings wheel at the bottom of the video on your TV on your tablet on your phone and you can turn the quality up you want it up to the maximum you can have cuz YouTube a lot of the time just automatically puts it in a lower resolution want to make sure you got that Ted up to the max that applies to all YouTube videos on all channels as well so a lot of the time when I start watching something on my phone cuz I'm on my 4G it put it in like 720 but you click on it you can put it all the way up to 4K so always bear that in mind sometimes with the 4K it does buffer it depends on your internet speed so that's a lot of the times where they knock it down a little bit okay here we go then Golden Mile the Golden Mile I tell you what the other day I went in here Caravan this is a good little Supermarket actually Caravan a bit of a chain bit like a hyperino and they just it was around this time they just brought out the fresh batch of chocolate Quant and I wasn't even going in for a Quant but they like B plainly baked them for the following morning ready and I was like can I have one of them you know must Spanglish just out the oven they was still on the oven tray and she smil she knew exactly what I was asking for she's like yet there you go oh it's still piping hot you can't beat a fresh Quant Out the Oven Amoro popular for gelato now the one further down I always show where you can sit in and stuff has got way more flavors than this this is a very basic um amorio this the one feather down near the patch has got everything that's got very basic flavors maybe want a Nella quas on was stunning oh so good can't be it I'm craving one myself now there's your Vegas Grill Jam so it has gone overcast very very quickly very quickly uh St Venus delmare twice a year where are your dad's one here when we did the hotel review it's the location is uh really good but then it's the money as well so you have to weigh it up it's a lot more than probably what you've paid up there yeah but then you pay it intact in yeah exactly yeah you have to wa up perect how you going I don't know with low situation we don't know it's like bottom of the list unfortunately now ten Florida that's why for that uh being reported the hotel cancelled all bookings and put the rooms back up at a raise price I can see it from both ways I mean the hotel is probably like you know everyone else is charging a fortune things like that can can change businesses massively for life in some ways if they rake it in that week that gives them the money to refurbish it put their hotel at a better standard possibly even get a bigger star racing I see it from both sides and then on the other hand you you know you're ripping off consumers at the same time and taking advantage I see both sides of it if you're the business owner of course you're going to do that but as a consumer obviously it's disappointing but yeah things like that for a small if it's a small hotel small business or you know a single owned Hotel not part of a chain a week an event like that can can you know pay for refs and maintenance for a whole year stuff like that here we go then bit of a view of last Americus we're not
