this is absolutely insane and we are here for it in every single aspect folks Aaron judge is absolutely tearing the cover off of the baseball and it is incredible to watch all of this unfold before US history that we are going to be showing our kids our grandkids our great grandkids it's going to be in the history books forever and we are quite literally witnessing this history so first take a moment step back and realize we are in the prime moments of some Aaron Judge baseball and some Yankees baseball no matter what you see on the scoreboard in the standings in their month of June as of late this team is ridiculously good when they play really good and I know that goes without saying but Aaron judge is a monster on this offensive side of the baseball and on defensive too don't get me wrong and this dude is just making Yankees baseball so much fun to watch even when sometimes it isn't fun to watch let's get into everything Aaron judge has done as of late but before we do I have one through this intro because I just want to talk about this guy in the greatest way possible because Aaron judge has given us something that we haven't seen in a Yankee uniform in a very long time guys look at this Ridiculousness this is all this season thus far but focusing in on the month of June 25 games that was he batted 409 with 37 RBI a 514 on base percentage and an 864 slugging in 25 games every single one of those stats leads the American League in the month of June so he be getting another player of the month for the American League that's Undisputed 82 ribbies through June as well which is fourth most in Yankees history we'll get to those stats regarding the RB through June in just a moment 31 homers through 86 games he had 30 in 2022 guys remember that was when he broke history he's on Pace to do it again and even more so break his own record which is just ridiculous in itself and not to mention that tonight he passed Bernie Williams for the seventh home runs in his career in Yankees history this guy isn't human he's not real he is absolutely ridiculous and I am here for every single second of it guys look at this more Ridiculousness for you if that isn't already enough here's the Yankees all time leading 80 plus RB before July records right so leading this list is Lou gar with 86 in 1927 then you got Babe Ruth with 85 in 1926 then you got L gar again in 1930 he had 83 and then this man right here Mr Aaron judge with 80 now 82 in the year 2024 I mean if you ask me I think he's in some pretty decent company with some pretty decent Yankees history two incredible incredible players and now Aaron judge on this list as well not to mention the fact that he is leading the American League in batting average home runs and RBI on a Triple Crown type of race here batting 316 again 31 homers 82 ribbies what's interesting for me and what's interesting to note here is just Aaron judge is the most humble man that might play this game there's a lot of players but Aaron judge for the amount of production that he has day in and day out he never never takes credit he was actually asked tonight after the game what he's thinking regarding the Triple Crown RAC and what it would be like to actually win and at this point what that looks like for him and this is what our captain had to say he said quote it would be cool it' just be cool but it's not my focus like a lot of guys in this room we don't play for stuff like that we play to win anytime you put on the Pinstripes or the NY you're here to win we're all focused on getting a championship first it'd be cool Triple Crown that'd be pretty cool you know yeah but I want to win that's a leader that's a captain any man to do it Aaron judges is among the best in this league to lead a team that desperately needed leading when they named him captain and he has not fallen short of that at all whatsoever another man who I I just want to talk about this guy because he really really had a great performance tonight and a lot of the reason why offensive sparks happen is because of good pitching performances right and that man is gar Cole he I just wanted to give him the shout out I know this video is really centered around judge and everything he's been accomplishing and I do not diminish that at all by focusing on Cole here but you got to give credit when credit's do and Cole deserves a credit because he hasn't really had a start like this since he's come back from his injury he went five innings giv up only three hits one run one walk and six strikeouts really solid performance from Garrick Cole tonight in everything in all aspects of his pitching performance really promising to see a start against a Blue Jays lineup That was lighting up the Yankees pitching in this series you know Carlos rhon had a rough series Marcus strowman cleaned it up a little bit more but then you saw again last night things went back to what we saw when Carlos rodon was on the mound and so the pitching hasn't been completely consistent in New York against this Toronto team and so to see this to see what gar Cole was able to put together when he hasn't really been putting things like this together in quite some time super super promising but iron judge man this guy is just ridiculous in all aspects of this game and it is so fun to watch even when Yankees baseball isn't fun to watch and there's been many times in this month of June that Yankees baseball has not been fun and you've wanted to click off that TV and watch something else because it has been ridiculously bad in some situations on all sides of the baseball you still want to watch for judge because it seems like the one constant on this team is that man and any guy you pick to lead a team in this league I don't think they can do it better than judge does it and that's not even a bias statement that is just true facts when you've got a guy who is so selfless not even aware of how good he actually is you have something special this team wants to play for their captain and that is a beautiful thing and I am am so excited to see what the month of July holds with the allstar break with the trade deadline things start happening in the month of July this is where the World Series race picks up this is where the guys who want it are going to go get it and where the guys who don't really want it you're going to see them kind of put on the breaks when they're not really supposed to and so this Yankees team has to step it up even more than they did in this month but we end the month of June on a very good note and so so excited to see what this team continues to do and specifically Aaron judge continues to do in the month of July so with all that being said that's going to wrap up this video
