AND AT TIMES INTO FRIDAY NOW THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT LOOKS TO BE MORE ELEVATED ON FRIDAY VERSUS TODAY OR TOMORROW. AND THEN THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND, WE'LL SEE SOME IMPROVEMENT, WHICH IS GOOD NEWS THERE. SO WE LOOK RIGHT NOW AT THE RADAR THE SATELLITE COMPOSITE SEEN A GOOD DEAL OF CLOUD COVER. EVEN A FEW SHOWERS TRYING TO SHOW UP ON RADAR. HAS THERE PUSHING OFF TO THE EAST MOVING TO WASHINGTON COUNTY HEADING TOWARD AN ARBOR, MAKE AN AREA AND THEN SOUTH OF I-94 THERE IS THAT MARGINAL RISK AS WE GET INTO ABOUT 4, 5 O'CLOCK INTO THE EVENING HOURS, THAT ONE OR 2 STORMS COULD POP AND POTENTIALLY BRING DOWN SOME DAMAGING WIND GUSTS WERE SOME SMALL HAIL. YOU CAN SEE SPRINKLE ACTIVITY MORE TOWARD A CHELSEA, THE FREEDOM AREA DOWN TOWARD TECUMSEH, A LITTLE BIT TO MORE MODERATE RAIN, AT LEAST A POSSIBILITY THERE. WE GET PAST 3 O'CLOCK AND WE START TO SEE THAT ELEVATED CHANCE FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS. WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE LINE WE HAD YESTERDAY. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT SCATTERED ACTIVITY BUT AROUND METRO DETROIT. AS A MATTER OF FACT, BY THE WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEKEND, THINGS MAY JUST BE COOLING OFF. 70 ARE LOW THIS MORNING. THAT IS TOUGH WITH THE HIGH DEW 0. 62 WAS AN AVERAGE. 80 IS AN AVERAGE HIGH 97. THE RECORD BACK IN 1948, LET'S LOOK AT TEMPERATURES RIGHT NOW. 78 DEGREES ANN ARBOR AT 77 CAN A LITTLE SUNSHINE AROUND PORT HURON. 79 DEGREES, MOUNT CLEMENS. WILL THE TEMPERATURES SOUND NICE FEEL THAT WAY? ONCE YOU HEAD OUTDOORS? WE KNOW THAT WITH THE DEW POINTS HOVERING AROUND 70 THROUGHOUT THE DAY INTO TONIGHT, MAYBE DROPPING A BIT OVERNIGHT. BUT OF COURSE DROPPING BECAUSE THE TEMPERATURES OVERALL ARE DROPPING. BUT THE TEMPERATURE AND THE DEW POINT WILL BE CLOSE TOGETHER TODAY. TONIGHT GOING INTO TOMORROW, THE CLOSER THOSE MATCH, OF COURSE, THE HIGHER MOISTURE CONTENT WE HAVE. WE CAN WRING OUT THE ATMOSPHERE. ANY STORMS DEVELOPING ALONG OR NORTH OF BOUNDARY CAN BRING DOWN SOME VERY HEAVY RAIN, HAS A BOUNDARY SAGS A LITTLE FURTHER SOUTHWARD AGAIN IN THAT TARGET ZONE BE SOUTH OF I-94 NEAR THE STATE LINE OF OHIO. BUT FRIDAY IS MORE OF A CONCERN, MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER COVERS A GOOD PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN, INCLUDING ALL OF US HERE IN METRO DETROIT AS THIS BOUNDARY MAKES ITS WAY THROUGH AND THE COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. SO WILL GIVE IT THE AFTERNOON THE EVENING FOR THE FRONT TO PASS AND SOME OF THOSE STORMS BECOME MORE ELEVATED WITH DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HAIL AND AGAIN, VERY HEAVY RAIN WITH TEMPERATURES TODAY IN THE LOW 80'S. WHEN YOU LOOK NORTH OF DETROIT, MID-EIGHTIES FROM DETROIT SOUTHWARD CLOSER TO THAT STATIONARY BOUNDARY. AS I SHOWED YOU AND THEN AGAIN, AS WE GET PAST 3, 4 O'CLOCK, SOME OF THOSE STORMS STARTING TO POP BECOMING SCATTERED, NOT THE LINE WE HAD YESTERDAY EVENING, BUT STILL JUST DON'T TAKE YOUR GUARD DOWN. OF COURSE, WE ALWAYS SAY THAT AN 81 DEGREES TOMORROW WITH HIGH HUMIDITY. FRIDAY IS GOING TO BE A HOT DAY. UPPER 80'S FOR HIGHS AND THEN COOLIN
