what's the nicest thing someone has done for you I recently broke down crying because of what my mother-in-law did for the longest time I have had trouble with my own family not supporting me my parents never supported my career choice of going to medical school and they also discouraged me from dating my current husband because they didn't like his past even though with time I have learned to believe in myself I still feel down whenever I think of the lack of support when I married my husband I thought that maybe his parents were the same or maybe just indifferent because they never talked about me my mother-in-law is really bad with technology however and one day she forgot to hang up after we talked on the phone then she said my name to her husband and I braced myself for her to berate me to my absolute shock however she began praising me saying I was the best thing that happened to her son then she admired my career choice and wished she had the same skills as me I just listened quietly and couldn't believe my ears a while later I couldn't take it anymore and hung up because I was crying since then my husband has said I look less stressed and happier
