learned it's called so you think I'll like this I think you'll love it well good luck babe we'll see that is pretty good actually if you didn't see we did Chapel rows hot to go mhm but since we did that I have gone down quite the rabbit hole sure of chapel rone and I felt the best thing for us to do is to do a deep dive listening to a couple of her songs so you can get the like you said in our reaction she has very Cindy loer Vibes so yeah like The Reincarnation of Cindy laugher Cindy I think Cindy's still alive I guess yeah I couldn't be reincarnation then but you know what I mean uh of her career what I'm saying yeah no like it she she gives those vibes but her voice is so incredible and there's so much more that goes with her but I had heard of Chapel Rome but I didn't really do a deep dive and now once I started doing a deep dive I'm like oh [ __ ] I've heard this song Oh [ __ ] I've heard this song oh so I think at least maybe one of these three you probably been have heard just in passing and didn't realize it cuz I was like I looked possible possible I turned to Emily and I was like holy [ __ ] this is traper own this whole time I've been singing this song half the damnn summer I didn't even had no idea but here we are now so we're going to do good luck babe casual and Pink Pony Club and after we did hot to go casual was one of the ones uh one of the songs that everybody was saying hey y'all need to check out yes uh you're going to enjoy some of the lyrics in casual I will say that uh she's she is very she's a lyrical genius but on top of everything her voice is just incredible so let's sit back and enjoy first we're going to off good luck babe and we'll get into the other [Music] two this is currently like her like newest hottest song by the way constant like going up on like each like note like it's it's different it's Unique I haven't heard that like uh I haven't heard that done like at least like not in a while I saw a very apopo comment uh on one of her videos where somebody said she's like a mix of Cindy Lopper Stevie Nicks a splash of Lady Gaga some Freddy Mercury especially vocal wise I never I never thought about Stevie before but now I can see it yeah so it's that's what I wanted to do this cuz you're going to be very impressed by her vocals and already we're a minute into good luck baby you're like I I I love when things aren't just very straightforward I like when things like have like like when artists have like their own little twists abely and this is an actual Like official video this is from her Channel she up yeah this their official lyric video is so unserious but the vocals and everything is so beautiful no no no like it it lends to like that that like feeling of like like the nostalgic feeling of like the 80s and stuff like that absolutely yeah so like I I dig it oh yeah [Music] [Applause] [Music] Reber right there oh [Music] yeah well she is from Tennessee by the way originally makes sense [Music] been kind of dope cuz like people back in the day like when they had the vinyl and stuff like they like play it backwards see if like the angels of the Demons would sing you know it definitely still she definitely still continues with like that the80s feel to me uh there were a couple moments with like some of the lyrical content and even like the way she sang so you she's from Tennessee like uh I like oh that line like it's like a Rebo line like a '90s rebu line like um that attitude that re yeah like if you don't know fancy you need to go check her like check her out oh yeah some cool things that are like being done with like the vocals there like uh like I said like the putting the emphasis on like the the lifts of like those like notes instead of just it being very straightforward is something that I digs so it came through a lot in this and I was like yeah yeah she she she likes to throw a lot of uniqueness in her her actual like vocals which it's kind of rare for for musicians a lot of musicians especially American musicians they kind of stick to like a I don't want to say one note but she's all over the place in a good way like a lot of people like to play as safe but her voice is so unique and Powerful she can take those chances and they pay off I I would say that like making some of those decis or you know making the decision to like adjust the vocals like in certain places like yeah like she has like a good voice so it lends to like her her success but like not playing it like you know just ab ab a you know what I mean like it's very I see what she's doing like it's dope absolutely so the next one we're going to do is casual and this is the one that everybody in the comments was saying like yeah that I saw a lot of the comments tell green hat he needs to check this out and I'm I'm green hat yeah and and so full disclosure again after we did the hot to go reaction I'm like I'm diving in I I got to something just drew me into her and this is one of the first songs I checked out afterwards and I've been playing this non-stop almost every day I've been singing this around the house okay Emily and enjoys it um okay but you'll you'll see what so okay like that first song Good Luck B that was like a song like her singing to her ex's new girlfriend essentially like good luck babe yeah like Told You So the whole like you'll you'll be there like his wife like years from now and it's like the whole I told you so I got a little bit of Toby Keith How You Like Me Now vibes from that that's that's that's a that's a solid reference so this one though casual is like a we've all been in casual relationships that we thought maybe just we're just hanging out and maybe turns into more but maybe one person can't admit that it's more and like maybe one person thinks that it is more than it really is you make signals think about that when you listen to the song just keeping it casual got you yeah this doesn't come from her Channel no so it's just like official lyric video but you got to see the lyrics on this one [Music] I love this song just the everything it does in [Music] it r better you could lose you said together [Music] [Music] how you how you feeling about the Vib I know you caught some lyrics in there but the vibe what you feeling so up until the Munch Munch line right uh like I was definitely feeling like hey you know we're we're holding hands at a skating Rank and like we're like going around kind of innocent and then it's like got real then it was like Hey like grow the [ __ ] up Scott like this is an adult song so uh no like the the lyrical content like it is deep right because like you know I've been in I've been in some casual situationships and um some of this I'm like I I've been on both ends of it like hey like are we or aren't we right yeah and then there's the yes or no and then I've also been asked are we or aren't we and I've had to be like yeah nah we're not cuz sometimes you just maybe not feel yes or yes we are yeah but uh no no no so like yeah like I said like I I've I've I've grown up a little bit during this song so we'll see how the rest during this song we'll see how the rest of it goes I'm going to say this song resonates with me I feel like it's like I this is something that like I like could resonate with exactly lyric for lyric bar for bar except change Long Beach to Arlington Texas and then I could be singing this or you know what I [Music] mean deep in the passenger SE the cas [Music] [Music] dress [Music] it's [Music] [Applause] down right there like if you've ever gone through like you know like hey like is this or isn't this or like you actually go through a legit breakup right like you never I don't know it's tough right like cuz like right when it's over you don't realize like that it's over yet and so like the part where it's like I hate that I let this drag on so long like that's like the like the like going through like the stages of like acceptance right and like you got to like like I've been there right like it's like man I can't believe I let this [ __ ] just drag out then I hate my myself and then when you finally come to like accept like hey like this is over I'm better off I hate that I let this drag on so long she said you can go to hell but in my mind I'm like you can go [ __ ] yourself right like right no but that's what helps you get past like these things but right like that that that part right there like really like really like set with me a little bit and it's the what I love about her not only or her vocal is amazing that's why I rewinded so you can hear this last note talking about go you can go to hell but her her songs are so real straight to it like it's so real dog there there is like a there is like a an element that you know you don't catch like a lot like in in music nowadays because I mean I I'm going to stand on my Soap Box a little bit like we live like in an era where everybody wants to be PC and say the right thing but sometimes like the right thing is maybe not worded so politely and these are things that you need to hear like I I'm sure this this song you know like is stuck in your head a lot of people said like hey you should check it out like I'm sure for like a lot of people like this song is like hey this going to pull me out of my funk right this is going to like yeah this is going to make me stand up tall again like this is going to like you know make me realize like I let it drag on so long now I can move on and that's part of growth and growing in maturing and going through relationships like this where you grow and learn you're like oh I'm better than I'm better than this how this person is treating me vice versa we all grow and learn but that's why I like it's so real like I said part of growing up is like I mean I I don't just speak for myself I speak for a lot of people that I know like I've been on both sides of it I know I know both sides of this coin and like you know maybe I you know in in one way like I'm you know felt very innocent and taken advantage of and naive in certain ways and then in other way is like I haven't always been like the most polite to like my partners like whether it be casual or serious and like that's a me issue that I I've over time have like learned to work out the fact that you admit that just shows growth yeah that's what saying that's how you go through life you got to grow yeah you ex yeah all right this last note here oh God I just love her voice so incredible uh so so the last one we're going to check out by the way is uh from her set at laala palooza now hopefully YouTube allows this to be in the video if not then uh we may have beef with them but uh so she closed her set with it she usually will close a lot of her sets with this song uh Pink Pony Club okay not only a great song I've heard a lot of people I've seen people in the comments say like it felt like a religious experience listening to this song for the first time you may not have that but it's okay it's one it's it's it's an all right now it's already an alltime valid classic bro okay it really is so this is from her laoa set in Chicago from this year she closed it out with Pink Pony Club and yes for the record cuz I saw that at the beginning she is dressed like a wrestler a Luchador cuz she came out with a Luchador mask on and there's a giant ring behind her so yeah she is dressed like a wrestler and that just made me fall in love with her even more so TI me right on the the funny your your worlds are colliding okay that is a crap that's a lot of [ __ ] people this has been so magical my name is [Music] chapone it's come a long way [Music] and girls can all be Queens every single day w I also want to point out to you that this is after 50 minutes of her jumping around singing dancing the the how crazy good her vocals are going 50 minutes into this set and how she kills this it's very impressive that's part of being a professional [Music] right baby know she's [Music] [Music] s keep [Music] keep [Music] [Music] Dan IED dreams livee and I'm on a car you've been too good to me my M it's going to a SE she baby girl I know [Music] she's my it's down [Music] knock your head [Music] off ooo that crowd that's a cool part right there [Music] okay okay so and I think think this is by the way I mentioned in our reaction and chaperone fans can correct me or not when I told you that there was the festival she played where she was like in front of like 50 people it was like outside the main concert venue I think it was La palooza and that was just in 2021 and now 2024 she has 880,000 [ __ ] people right there that and like it hits a little hard cuz she the the performance that she did three years ago she's sang this song in front of 50 people now watch what happen in front of 80,000 here in a second when she stops [Music] singing sing wo so dope [Music] guitar player shred bro yeah it was like took me back like the midle days like [Music] [Music] how dope bro you got to give brought a little tear to my eye yeah you got to give what respect what respects do like if like several years ago she was playing for 50 people and she could have been couraged cuz you said that she got signed let go and then resigned again right would you have persistence like that like you have you have to like respect it 100% like even if you aren't like necessar like a fan of like her music right like you have to be like I look it would be very easy for you to like give it up and be like cool I can fall back on a 9 to five but you didn't and now you're playing in front of like 80,000 people you you let your vocals drop out you let everybody sing to you you're doing something right so absolutely so like like I said you got to give respect what respect is due the the talent is always going to shine through mhm through all the neg all the negativity or whatever may come and you know there's times where things rise and fall Talent will always the cream of the crop will always rise to the top I mean that's that's just fact right there just it's very beautiful to and again I'm I'm still in my Discovery Zone DZ ' 90s kids will know that one of chapel rone and like learning that and then seeing where she is cuz we're right now we're we're in like the midst of her rise even though she's not technically new this has been like her her year and like a lot of these songs like uh that song p Pony Club is four years old and it's now like if you look at the charts it's like one of the top songs on the charts like all her songs she's like three songs in the top 10 on Billboard right now and they're all like good luck babe obviously is newer but like we didn't even get to Red Wine Supernova which is an incredibly crazy good song We're to me look there's it's been a long time since and I had this conversation with Emily that man it's been a while since we've had like a time where it's like there's a lot of great singers on The come up and maybe and I told her maybe it's cuz I'm biased cuz I'm I'm part of a reaction show and I get to see and I'm more honed in on on see singing But like this this new crop of talent Chapel rone Billy ish uh Olivia Rodrigo which is why chaperon a big reason why chaperon had her rise because she was part of Olivia Rodrigo's tour uh and so it kind of got her more into the mainstream BTS who we react to all the time the individual members of BTS Like more more of the world is discovering them and I think it's a combination of maybe just the time they were in people can see any artist they want and listen to anything they want at any time but the actual talent is there we I feel like we went through a period from like 2008 to like 2019 where especially in America and there's outliers of course there's there's certain talents but I mean you I would I would put her over against anybody who's come out in the last 20 years yeah you throw that time period out like that was like a Dumping Ground of like of not it's not not as great music everybody was trying to sound the same everybody everybody was trying to do like the like the like the club hit right like you have one great chorus and a really fun beat and then that's all you got and you put it out there for the world to like dance to that's fine but like that time is like gone what she's done is like brought back kind of like um kind of brought back back like a like a like an older like style like Superstar element to like to like present because the the the music does have like this like 80s feel like I like 80s is like my favorite time period and like there's like just like a lot of like stuff where just the creativity is different from her her style of creativity is different than what like the mainstream would like push out today right and you can agree or disagree but like it has like an older vibe to it which I resonate with so like I said like all all credit where credits do like I respect like I respect it yeah it's she's so incredible and I would love to do more if you guys would like us to do more she has a tiny desk concert if we ever do the tiny desk concert I will 100% do the chapero makeup uh which you don't know about but I will 100% do it if this video gets 2,000 likes I'll do the chaparo makeup on the NPR actually just get a thousand that' be C but this honestly she's she's an incredible performer we're witnessing to me and I I feel like this is not just me throwing this out there I feel like we're witnessing a historic performer that we're going to look back in 20 years like people like oh like did you ever listen to chap did I listen to Chapel rone [ __ ] I was
