going to start with the President's Cup and that minor win by pareta yeah let's have a look at the young people in the game and I think this is going to be a tremendous segment as we showed it last year on Rugby League winners the young players coming through in the President's Cup let's have a look at param matter keep your eye on their 58 David basari former Commonwealth Bank cup star uh this is the little halfback very good player Martin seal but the player that caught my eye David Bar basari number 32 in the parameter side you'll see him score a try and kick a goal here to start proceedings this is basari and uh a very good kicker and very good all round player I understand cerb bankstown very interested in this young fellow look at the pass he puts on there for seal the halfback to go away again grab a kick through for the Paramount side unfortunately for him the ball beats him over the in goal area there but bayari in this game impressed me greatly now Canterbury were beaten in extra time this is a good strong run by Matthew morren and uh he makes it right into Paramount territory now Canterbury play made a playoff for fifth on Tuesday night against western suburbs they also had to play extra time in that game and they won it in the final moments of extra time but they're a good strong side there's David Ebling going in for their opening try and they shocked param early in this game and they had some good players in their side they played very strong football Ebling Gary vered the fullback and uh this young fellow on the wing Craig Dean certainly played very well for the canbury banks downside they've got some good young talent coming through through I think that game midweek probably knocked the stuffing out of them and in the end they were beaten there's basari the pass out wide to Matt Monro who's a good player and then finally on to Darren Dennis but the referee ruled the final pass forward and good mateship in the 21s and uh it's extended right throughout the season but uh here's param the players that the EES are really impressed with this is their Captain Matt Monroe now and uh he's playing the ball out wide is a good long pass picked up out wide by the center three quarter Jason Ryan now it's into the hands of the halfback in Martin seal and he goes in and scores underneath the upright it was easy for basari to convert the try and basari there he is a long pass out wide that's good stuff by parata eventually the ball being intercepted there by A canbury Banks down player on the Bulldogs the young Bulldog pups never gave up in this game of football they came back with a very good try by Gary ver the very free running fullback but here's the player I I said to watch David basari in in the corner outstanding young player and I think you're going to hear a lot more of him in the future he was certainly one of the stars of the Commonwealth Bank cup there he is putting another player through a gap almost a try coming up to the Paramount side once again Jason Ryan crosses but there's the referee and indicating a forward pass Canterbury down but not out in this football game they came up with a very good try here it is coming up excellent football by the dogs good strong run out wide by the center Jason line passing the ball back inside to ver the fullback and he raced in and scored a very good try the conversion was H right between the uprights by ver EG but time ran out for Canterbury 1210 the end of a good season for the young Bulldog pups yep David basari the difference there one good solo try setting up another two tries each caner be led 42 early in the match but it was Paramount 1210 at the end
