hey guys check it out you're watching Jonathan Clark on YouTube oh no hey guys I probably should talk a little bit about the friendship between Dove Cameron and Sophia Carson because they are really two celebrities that brought descendants to life in a way that I don't think any other two onscreen celebrities could have done it for descendants of course the score featured a song a wet between the two of them the space between which Dove Cameron went as far to describe as a gay song uh I I think that was a little bit put out there by Dove Cameron uh but it was after she left Disney that she described the song as a gay song obviously Disney had contractual obligations where Dove Cameron could not put the song out there in that way or that particular fashion but uh the friendship between Dove camon and Sophia Carson has been significantly documented just as the friendships between Dove Cameron and Ariana Grande had been documented In Dove Cameron and Sabrina Carpenter also Dove Cameron has not shied away from talking about her onscreen and offscreen friendships she's had with so many celebrities over the years but I don't ever remember two celebrities on Disney Channel having such great unscreen chemistry for a Disney Channel original movie you couldn't have put two other celebrities in the way of females together that could have created such a buzz uh in the way that Dove Cameron and Sophia Carson did for Descendants it's unbelievable that we had a phenomenal cast uh for Descendants but I don't think that you could have casted any other two F male actresses that could have brought the best at a characters and everyone on the set who made up the cast like Dove Cameron and Sophia Carson did the chemistry you could just feel it and you could just feel this atmosphere unlike anything we have ever seen before and I'm talking in terms of the Wizards of away Place Disney Channel original movie and the High School Musical Trilogy which was of course Zack Efron and Vanessa huton driven but I don't think we've ever seen something quite like this and we will never see it again Disney channel has definitely surpassed its Legacy with the height of its popularity coming from movies like High School Musical and now descendants for this new generation so I think that we need to bask in it while we still have the opportunity to do it I know a lot of people came away from the sentence the rise of red really disappointed and I can understand and sympathize with you on that because I came away from it wanting more and really disappointed I won't say no I won't say really disappointed they just came away from it wanting more and expecting more out of the cast especially Ruby Rose Turner who I was a fan of initially from Koop and cam Ash the world and Gabby durman uh the unsittables with kie contrell speaking in terms of her uh I think there was a lot left to be desired with that one and uh it was nothing more than a glorified spin-off because Disney was in a state of desperation where they had to put something out and put something out really quickly and I think the rise red movie the spin-off from the original trilogy was just distributed way too quickly they could have waited in additional year to kind of collaborate more put more into the script uh the only thing we really got out of as I mentioned is China and mlan coming back to reprise her role ultimately what led to Sophia Carson and Dove Cameron not resigning to reprise the roles as malan Eevee the daughters of Maleficent theable Queen was because of the death of Cameron Boyce who they equally put effective tributes up on Instagram for and social media which created so much attention and Drew so much attention to their social media Endeavors so this is what we with the wake of the success of descendants but to be honest with you girls I'm going to really miss stuff Cameron and sevia Carson you can put Ruby Rose Turner and call the control over in so many Disney Channel original movies or Disney plus documentaries you are never going to see the same kind of chemistry coming from Ruby Rose Turner and col control as you got from Dove cameronia Carson and if you do I'll be really surprised I will shake the hands of the directors of descendence five descendant 6 descendant s you get the Point um every song that they did either as a solo artist or as a duet Sophia Carson and Dove Cameron really brought to life sure we criticized Dove Cameron for her relationships with Thomas Dorothy which had a lot of intensity seene they had to cut some scenes out of descendence because they seem so close together and the directors and producers didn't want fans to realize that Dove and Thomas were together at the time and they were kind of smitten over each other and you can criticize Sophia Carson for being squat by men off of camera which did happen because there was footage actually down the internet about it on YouTube in the way of social media and I'm sure other social media platforms capitalized and the opportunity to expose Sophia Carson for her offscreen habits but she was so fun to watch do Cameron really brought the Maleficent daughter character to life in a way that I don't think anyone else could have and I know there were other people who auditioned for the role that the directors had in mind but I think instantly when you saw Dove Cameron you fell in love with Dove Cameron you fell in love with Sophia Carson because they put so much effort behind the characters that you very quickly and very easily fell in love with them and if you didn't fall in love with them no matter what your age is your young daughter did because I have seen so many young daughters come away from descendant so aspired to want to dress up like the character to want to be like your favorite Disney daughter princess so I think I I think it was definitely a true inspiration and it was definitely influen Arial and I think that there were two two Idols that would go down in history for being some of the most influential aiel of all time it was because of Dove Cameron and Sophia Carson and because of the Friendship they exemplified both on screen and off of it also Dove Cameron has not shied away from talking about her friendship with Sophia Carson they are really close and I think she's described uh her as one of the best friends that she's ever had Veronica Sinclair takes the dib for Dove Cameron though takes the dip for being the best friend of Dove Cameron but definitely Sophia Carson is a close second and uh I I think it's because of just how much they Inspire each other and just how colorful they are they have such colorful personalities they're always there to raise awareness for the Cameron Boyce uh Foundation always wanting to raise money and awareness for it because they want to keep his memory alive forever they want it to last forever and I don't think we should criticize them for wanting his memory to last forever because he too was somebody who made up the cast and really brought the best out of the cast and everybody on the set of descendants you can put 5 100 Disney Channel stars male and female together and you're never going to comprise a cast like we saw with Dove Cameron sopia Carson boo boo Stewart Cameron boy it's it's just not going to happen anymore and it's not going to happen for a Disney Channel series you're not going to have another living MADD you're not going to have another Gabby Derman and the unbl you're not going to have another adventures and babysitting remake with saprina Carpenter and Sophia Carson and the chemistry they had you're you're you're just not going to have it I I I don't care who uh Disney distributes uh in the in the coming years and their direction is just literally ridiculous now um you know combining sci-fi elements with Marvel and Star Wars uh Disney could be offering us more uh remaking a lot of stuff turning their animated Classics into live actions the next one up is Snow White the seven d Wars with gal GDOT and Renee zel wigger not excited about that uh I'm not expecting that one to get RAV reviews like The Little Mermaid which received it fair share criticism because of how The Little Mermaid was black and I could never remember seeing her black in the original animated classic in 1988 with Jody Benson doing the voiceover work uh Dove Cameron and Sophia Carson also brought animation to life in a way that I don't think anyone else could have for Disney Channel or Disney plus the royal wedding in 2021 they came back to reprise that roles as M and Eevee with voiceover workor being provided uh it was a I think it was an hourong special the wedding of Ben and Mal and uh I've seen a lot of visuals of Ben and M they they they also had great chemistry but their roles in the wedding Sophia Carson and Dove Cameron uh really aspiring and uh really influential to a lot of people and there are still people believe it or not who are influenced by descendence even uh influenced by the rise of red because I think there's a mixed reaction uh that we kind of get that kind of mixed reactional Vibe uh from descendence the rise of red not not a big fan of it though guys and uh I really don't care if we see descendant five or descendant six because of just how they ruined everything with it the outfits were ridiculous the script made no since uh the actors and actresses are not very well known like a dove Cameron or sopia Carson they have not established themselves enough uh to really get over and come away from it you know as top Disney Channel stars in terms of Revenue and I'm not expecting the final ratings reviews of this one to be exceptionally High I'm expecting the ratings reviews of something like Jenna Ortega and woda Ryder reprising the roles as Beetlejuice and Lydia in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to be significantly higher with all the promotion it'sing and with everything happening with Jenna Ortega and Sabrina Carpenter right now that's where the attention lies right now in entertainment uh in terms of Dove Cameron's activities uh Dove Cameron has been notably inactive in 2024 the last time we saw her was on the red car with Damiano David I just posted a video on that um I wish I knew when Dove Cameron was going to come back uh she promised that she was her fans in Latin she was going to be coming to every territory in Latin and it hasn't happened yet she said that would happen when the tour was up and running from alchemical there was also supposed to be a followup to that album sometime between now and the end of 2024 we're almost at the climax of 2024 we've almost reached the conclusion and volume two has not yet dropped we've seen singles like lazy baby and boyfriend go to the top of the Billboard charts hitting uh billions of streams on U Spotify for example nobody's had that many streams dou camer and has 45 million followers on Instagram and she's not keeping her fans in the informative Loop which I wish she would um really let down really feeling let down but I know it has a lot to do with the record label and them controlling Dove Cameron and making the decision to control dove camera but I I've never seen a record label control somebody as much as what Rapture records has seem to love to take control of Dove Cameron's life to me I I could be wrong in saying saying this and I'm going to elaborate more on this in upcoming video blogs on my channel so if you haven't subscribed please be sure to do because I'm going to be take shots at disruptor because there there are fans of Dove Cameron out there that really want to see more of her and they're not seeing it she promised her fans in Latin on X that she was coming back to every territory of Latin it has yet to happen the drop of volume two of alchemical has not happened most of Dove Cameron's content has been removed from Social Media Services even YouTube with only 37 videos on her Vivo account so there there has to be some underlying issue with this we're seeing Sophia Carson wanting to prioritize her career why can't Dove Cameron do that why is Dove Cameron just kind of vanished or if not vanished been put on hold I think the record label needs to offer us an explanation as to why what's happening here we've seen the friendships of Dove Cameron Ariana Grande Dove Cameron Sophia Carson Dove Cameron Cameron Boyce exposed to the point of you know it seems so amazing the Glamour and the glitch the lifestyle of being a star on the sentence is the dream of every little girl between the ages of at least 6 through 10 that's Disney's target age but I think the record label disruptor and Dove Cameron's management company just in general owes us an explanation as to where in the Dove Cameron is or what happened because of all these projects promise you go to Dov cameron.com for for an example and I'll be elaborating on this a lot you go to Dove camera.com the only thing you can do I don't even know you can order merchandise the merchandise is still advertized to promote her album alchemical and her website is V revamped to promote this album but there are no tour dates there on all upcoming projects and you can Google all day you won't find anything only just archived content about Dove Cameron previous interview she did for 17 you can YouTube her all day but the only new content you're going to find about Dove Cameron is on this YouTube channel which will be moving to 4K in about two weeks so look for that if you haven't subscribed
